This study aims to determine the ability of students’ mathematical understanding in the multi-variable calculus course. The method used in this study is a test. This test will be used to determine students’ mathematical comprehension abilities in the multivariable calculus course. The results of this study concluded that 3 students scored 50-60, 4 students scored 60-70, 6 students scored 70-80. There are several factors that cause student scores to not get perfect scores, namely in the learning process there is a need for an attractive learning model, the need for technology, etc.

One of the geometry materials at the high school level is a parabolic. The ability to prove parabolic formulas is needed by students majoring in Mathematics Education who will become mathematics teachers after graduating. Having an understanding of proof of the formula will make learning more meaningful. The purpose of this research is to find out a description of the proof of parabolic formula based on high, medium, and low resilience levels, so that various obstacles can be overcome early. This research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used resilience questionnaires, test questions to prove the parabola formula, and interviews. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The results showed that (1) there are three indicators in mathematical proof of parabolic mastered by students at high, medium, and low resilience levels, namely drawing the vertex, fixed point, and directrix line, determining the length of the two points, determining the results of the equation squared, (2) determining the coordinates of the vertex, fixed point, and the equations of the directrix mastered by students with a high level of resilience, but not yet mastered by students at moderate and low resilience levels, (3) determining two lines of the same length in the image according to the definition parabolic and determining the results of the multiplication distribution on addition and subtraction have been mastered by students at high and medium resilience levels, but not yet mastered by students at low resilience levels,

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model were better than the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Problem Solving learning model. The research was conducted at MTs Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo class IX A and IX B. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design, which refers to the instrument of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study population came from grade IX students, with a total of 401 students. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The prerequisite test of normality, homogeneity, and balance before treatment showed that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, and balanced. The prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity of the data after treatment showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test calculation using the t-test obtained of 2,2431 and with α = 5% ( ) of 1,6667. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the value of then is rejected; this means that the problem-solving ability of students who receive the MMP learning model is better than students who receive the Problem Solving learning model.

The purpose of this article is to describe the mathematical connection ability of students in working on stories on statistics material. This article uses aqualitative approach. The data collection was obtained from the method of documentation, tests, and interview. There are 2 students of class VIII semester II as subjects in this article. The analysis was obtained from the test results of students which consisted of 5 description questions and the results of interviews on 6 indicators of mathematicalconnection ability. The results of the study obtained that the twostudents were less capable of applyingmathematics in other fields of study or everyday life and the relationships between mathematical topics and between mathematics topics and topics outside mathematics. So it can be concluded that the two students have a poor mathematical connection ability in solving story problems on statistics material.

The purpose of this study was to produce Student Worksheets (LKS) with K.H Ahmad Dahlan historical settings for fourth-grade students at SD and declared fit for use. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets for material experts, media experts, cultural experts, and practicality sheets for teachers. The results showed that the developed worksheets the valid criteria with a score of 3.57. The effectiveness criteria cannot be measured because of the covid 19 virus which causes students to carry out learning online. Practicality criteria are also fulfilled and got a score of 3.93 with good criteria. Based on assessments by material experts, media experts, cultural experts and filling in practicality sheets by the teacher, the products developed are declared valid and practical.

This study aims to describe students' understanding of solving algebraic problems with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. The research subject was students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Puring who had visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles with 2 students' learning styles. The technique of taking the subject uses purposive. The instruments used were questionnaires and tests. This study shows that (1) Understanding the concept of restating a concept on the elements of algebraic form fulfilled by students with visual and auditory styles. (2) According to certain characteristics, classifying objects determines similar and dissimilar terms, and all student learning styles have not fulfilled its reasons. (3) providing examples and non-examples of the concept in determining similar and dissimilar tribes fulfilled by students with kinesthetic learning styles. (4) presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representations in making all student learning styles have not fulfilled mathematical models. (5) use, utilize and select certain procedures or operations in determining operations fulfilled by all student learning styles. (6) applying the concept or problem-solving algorithm in applying the concept of algebraic forms has not been fulfilled by all student learning styles.

The purpose of this article is to describe students' problem-solving abilities in completing linear programs through the Newman stages. This article uses qualitative. Data collection was obtained from the method of setting, testing, and interviewing. There are 36 students in class IX PS 2 as the subject of this article. The subject's abilities are categorized as high, medium, and low. Descriptive analysis was obtained from 9 students who represented each level. Test the validity of the data by triangulation. The results of the analysis obtained an average problem-solving ability using the Newman stage, namely the ability to read problems 85.6% classified well, the ability to solve problems 80% classified well, the ability to transform 82.59% classified well, the ability to process 73.3% classified good, the ability to solve answers 67.7% classified sufficiently. Of the 8 levels of ability obtained by 8 high-skilled students require new procedures well in solving problems, 24 capable students are having difficulty in the process of problem transformation, and 4 low-ability students are unable to handle new procedures. Keywords: problem-solving ability, Newman's procedure

The learning mathematics to students will be easier to master and understand the concept of linear equation material of one variable through the ROPES learning model. This study aims to determine that with the application of ROPES learning model on linear equation material of one variable can improve students’ learning result, students’ activities, and teachers’ performance. The subject of this study is the students of class VII B in the first semester at MTS Matholiul Ulum Banjaragung, Bangsri, Jepara in 2019/2020. Instruments were tests sheet and questionnaires. The type of this research is a classroom action research with two cycles where each cycle there are two meetings. The stages include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed an increase in student's ability to solve problems about linear equations of one variable. Based on reflection results in cycles 1 and II, it showed: 1) Students’ learning result is increased, in the cycle I the average result was 64.90 and in cycle II reached 73.18. 2) In cycle I of the first meeting was 59.67% categorized ‘enough’. The second was 6601% categorized ‘good’, and in the cycle II reached 81.15% categorized ‘very good’. 3) Increased teacher performance in the first cycle was 60% categorized medium, the second meeting reached 70% categorized high, and in cycle II reached 80% categorized very high.Kata kunci: Mathematical Learning Result, ROPES Learning Model.
