This study aimed to determining the effect of using VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) learning model on the mathematics problem solving abilities. This study utilized a quantitative method with a research design Post-Test Only Control Design. The instrument is used a test of mathematics problem solving abilities that has been validated by expert lecturers. Accordingly, the data has reliable instrument. The data in the Requirements Test analysis encompassed the normality and homogeneity tests. Hence, the variance data of the group an homogeneous distribution. Besides in the Hypothesis Test utilizing the t-test, it was attained that t count = 3.544 > ttable = 2.001. Accordingly, from the data of the two classes, H1 is accepted. Hence, There is a significant effect between the VAK (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) learning model and the class that does not utilize it.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model were better than the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Problem Solving learning model. The research was conducted at MTs Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo class IX A and IX B. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design, which refers to the instrument of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study population came from grade IX students, with a total of 401 students. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The prerequisite test of normality, homogeneity, and balance before treatment showed that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, and balanced. The prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity of the data after treatment showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test calculation using the t-test obtained of 2,2431 and with α = 5% ( ) of 1,6667. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the value of then is rejected; this means that the problem-solving ability of students who receive the MMP learning model is better than students who receive the Problem Solving learning model.

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the creativity of students by using the Creative Problem Solving learning model in the study of Dance Arts in SMA 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Academic Year 2018/2019. To discuss the purpose of the study used theories about creativity, creative problem solving learning models and dance theory. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The research location is in SMA 1 Percut Sei Tuan Academic Year 2018/2019. The number of samples used were all students of class XI MIPA 2 as many as 34 people. Before conducting this research, the researcher gave a pre test to find out the ability of students, so that the average value of the class was 72.65. Next the researcher gave a post test and obtained a class average of 85.29. From the calculation of the hypothesis test performed, it is obtained thitung = 14.87 at the real level α = 0.05 and ttable = 1.6723, meaning that thitung > ttable (14.87> 1.6723) means that there is a very significant increase. Thus it can be concluded that by using the creative problem solving learning model can improve the creativity of students in the XI MIPA 2 class dance subjects in SMA 1 Percut Sei Tuan Academic Year 2018/2019. Keyword : Learning Model of Creative Problem Solving, Creativity ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving pada mata Pelajaran Seni Tari di SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019.

Problem-solving skill is required by students and a target in studying mathematics. However, the problem-solving skill of Indonesian students are lacking. One effort that can be done is applying the Model of Learning Cycle 5E. This research discussed the influence of the implementation of the learning cycle model on mathematics problem-solving skill viewed from students’ adversity quotient. This research used a quantitive approach, quasi-experimental study. The subjects were the 8th Grade students of SMP IT Ash-Shiddiiqi Jambi, consisting of two experiment classes and one control class. The instruments were post-test and adversity quotient questionnaire modified by Stoltz and had been validated by experts. Data analysis was conducted by Two-Way ANOVA. The results showed that there was no interaction between the learning cycle 5E model and mathematics problem-solving skill. This finding indicates that the model of learning cycle 5E affects problem-solving skills and can be applied to students with all types of adversity quotient.

The benefit of this research is to analyze the Impacts of Generative Learning Model on Mathematics problem Solving Skills. The method used in this research is experiment through t test. To collect the data about generative learning model, the writer used her idea, scientific books, scientific journals, internet and others documents. The research was conducted on the students of class VII H and VII G at Public SMP in west Cikarang. The sample is about 60 students. Before using generative learning model’s instruments, they was validated and past reability test. After that the writer done normality test through chi kuadrat test and homogeneity test through fisher test. Based on the research, t test ? t table (2.21 ? 1.697). it means there are significant impacts of Generative learning model on Mathematics problem solving. It can be concluded that there are significant impacts of Generative Learning Model on Mathematics problem Solving Skills.

The problem solving ability of students still low the problem of this research was mathematics. The purposes of this research was to know analyze improvement in mathematics problem solving ability of students that given group investigation learning with students that given direct learning. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all students of Mathematics Education Study Program UIN North Sumatra Medan and the samples were taken by cluster random sampling based on existing classes, namely PMM-4 class as an experimental class and PMM-2 as a control class. Data collection techniques in this study were using tests of students' mathematical problem solving abilities (pre tests and post tests) in the form of essay tests. The collected data is then searched for the N-gain value and analyzed using t test with SPSS 17 software.. Based of the results analysis, it showed that: Improvment of the students’ mathematics problem solving ability that given group investigation learning model was higher than the students’ mathematics problem solving abiliy that given direct learning. His then, suggested that group investigation learning model used for lectures to improved students’ mathematics problem solving ability.
