Along with the wave of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, shifts in the aspects of approach in teaching and the integration of learning technology should always be given careful research and planning. Therefore, this study aims to see the elements needed to integrate technology and delivery strategies to design and develop an online problem-based learning module for the Islamic Studies course (e-PBM PI-Poli) in Polytechnic. The design of this study is a quantitative study using the Fuzzy Delphi technique. A questionnaire instrument was used to collect research data. The number of experts involved was 17 people, those experts in educational technology, problem-based learning, Islamic studies, and curriculum. The data analysis results showed that the experts accepted all these elements through the expert consensus value above 75%, the threshold value (d) ≤ 0.2, and the fuzzy score (A) ≥ α - cut value = 0.5. Therefore, it shows that these elements have gained expert consensus and are needed to design and develop the e-PBM PI-Poli module in Polytechnic. This research provides tremendous implications to the lecturers and students and references Malaysia's education system to transform education through technology-based active learning.   Keywords: Fuzzy Delphi, Islamic studies, Problem-based learning, Technology.

This study aims to identify the expert consensus on the items for the elements of interaction in self and human beings for communication skills in 21st Century Learning (PAK21) Islamic Education. This study uses the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) application in the process of designing and developing the Islamic Education PAK21 Model based on the analysis of Quranic content. The data were collected using a questionnaire instrument that was given to 11 experts in the field of Tafsir al-Quran and Islamic Education who have served for more than 10 years. The findings of the study show that all 12 items of interaction in self and fellow human beings have been approved by experts. The items meet the acceptance conditions with the threshold value (d) is less than 0.2, the percentage of expert agreement is more than 75% and the value of defuzzification is more than 0.5. Implications of the study led to the formation of Model of Interaction Elements in Self and Human Beings for Communication Skills PAK21 Islamic Education.

The object of education is human being. Undersanding student developmental psychology is essential in teaching and learning process. The research entitled “The Implementation of Teaching and Learning for Islamic Education Subject (Fiqh) Based on Cognitive Developmental Psychology Levels In MTsN Malang 1” is intentionally aimed to explore how the teaching and learning on Islamic studies (Fiqh) could be implemented by considering the students developmental psychology.  This is descriptive qualitative research utilizing two perspectives as theoretical bases, Islamic perspective refers to Prophet Muhammad theory, and western perspective refers to Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky theories. The research begins by finding the problems, then breaking theories down to be reasearch instrument and comparing it as applied in model school, MTsN Malang 1. The result, based on both Islamic and western perspective theories, shows supports. Teaching and learning process are considered to implement interactive and cooperative models. Interactive model is implemented by utilizing learning technology such as LCD-projector and computer to show audio-visual contents, quiz creator and edmodo. And cooperative model is implemented not only by learning technology, but also language development applied in mapping and presentation set. Analysis result shows that teaching and learning based on cognitive developmental levels gives more understanding for most students’ proved by students’ interest and excellent score. The novelty is that the research used developmental psychology which specified on cognitive to be applied in Islamic Education subject (Fiqh).

Student engagement is one of the most important determinants of learning outcomes in higher education institutions. This paper focuses on impediments to student engagement. The Fuzzy Delphi technique was used to screen and elicit important impediments. Four main criteria (individual, family, institution, and environment) and Twenty three sub-criteria were selected by experts through the fuzzy Delphi technique. The fuzzy DEMATEL technique was used to determine the causal relationships among the criteria (impediments). Findings showed that institutional, environmental, and family factors were in the cause group, individual, and family factors were in the effect group. Among the 23 sub-factors, eleven factors were in the cause group and twelve factors were in the effect group. The first three influencing factors were: teachers' poor quality of teaching, inadequate facilities of classroom and institution, and non-applicable materials and curriculum. The first three influenced factors were: poor quality of the relationship between teachers and students, financial problems and high tuition fees, and decreasing the value and status of education in the society.
