"Abstract. There is a crisis of many years in Israel in the subject of mathematics learning. In the last PISA tests, conducted by the OECD during the last ten years, Israel is placed 39-41 among all the countries participated the research. It was also found that all the years Israel ""won"" to be one of the first three countries with the highest grade distribution among all the countries and economic entities participating in general and among OECD countries in particular. In addition, it was found that rate of Israeli students who fail the mathematics test is one of the highest in the organization countries. The goal of this research is comparing students’ achievements in the Israeli education system and in the Finnish education system, which is considered a system with excellent achievements in mathematics and low-grade distribution rate in general and in mathematics grades in particular. This comparison is aimed to identify the Israeli education system's problems and learn the lessons to improve it. This article discusses the question what is the main success factor in mathematics in Israel compared to Finland according to the 2015 PISA test results and what can be learned from this difference? In this paper I have based on my research findings in which I analyzed the correlation between the PISA questionnaires and student achievement in mathematics."

Current discussions about entrepreneurship are framed primarily in terms of business administration. But entrepreneurship is more: a complex, dynamic and multifaceted phenomenon with a creative dimension that is in parts beyond economic-rationale discourse. Business models can be built upon something else than patents or research findings by transforming genuine concepts into entrepreneurial activity. Unconventionality and original thinking are essential factors for entrepreneurial success. In a world of ever-easier division of labor, entrepreneurs have the possibilities to use existing components to create new business models. This will open up perspectives for many more people to participate in entrepreneurship than previously imagined.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to assess the perceived economic impact of religious tourism in Zimbabwe. The research objectives were (1) to determine the nature of religious tourism in Zimbabwe, (2) to determine the key success factor for economically viable religious tourism in Zimbabwe, (3) to ascertain the perceived economic contribution of religious tourism, and finally (4) to propose strategies for economically sustainable religious tourism in Zimbabwe. Methods: The research adopted a qualitative approach and was descriptive in nature. The study focused on Harare and the study population was made up of a cross-section of tourism service providers in Harare, religious leaders, and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority. Purposive sampling was used for service providers and as well as religious leaders. Results: The research findings revealed that there are a lot of religious tourism activities that take place in Zimbabwe, particularly Harare, and normally take the form of pilgrimages, religious conferencing, healing and deliverance nights, and worship. The perceived economic value derived includes employment creation for the locals, an increase in foreign currency generation, and an increase in sales revenue. The research findings also show that for religious tourism to be economically sustainable there is a need for government involvement, re-packaging of the product, and investment in local infrastructure. Implications: Zimbabwe Tourism Authority and the private sector need to take the religious tourism market seriously and make deliberate efforts to harness this growing market.

The research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of a mathematics learning program based on the Mind habits in developing academic achievement motivation and creative thinking among University students. To collect the data, the researchers used the academic achievement motivation scale (Elsayed, 2012) and the creative thinking in Mathematics test (Prepared by the Researchers). The study methodology based on the semi experimental method and the statistical program SPSS was used to analyze the collected data. The sample was chosen randomly from the mathematics department. The results found that there are statistically significant differences between the scores of the academic achievement motivation and the creative thinking in favor of the post- applications at (0.01) level and this showed that the program has positive effects in developing the academic achievement motivation and the creative thinking in Mathematics among Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University Students.

Drawing on several decades of research findings, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) produced, between 1989 and 1995, three volumes of Standards in which members of the mathematics education community formulated new visions of mathematics learning, teaching, and assessment. These new visions comprise an ambitious agenda for the mathematics classroom—one that includes, but surpasses, mastery of facts and procedures, the mainstay of extant practice—designed to engage students in the exploration of mathematical ideas and their interrelationships. Students would now be invited to articulate their ideas, and teachers to identify and mobilize those elements in children's thinking upon which stronger conceptions can be built. Paralleling this ambitious departure in teaching practice, new means of assessment were proposed to capture progress toward these far-reaching goals.

Education entails much significance and prominence for building a nation. Every country has certain policies and planning in terms of how their education system should work. Since Pakistan has been independent of Islamic values and religious autonomy, Islamic education is the fundamental and most crucial element. In this regard, this research paper has aimed to discover the timeline of how Islamic education was integrated into the Pakistani curriculum. The research findings have suggested that the educational policies of Pakistan from 1969 to date are emphasizing the inclusion of Islamic education into the modern secular system. However, most Islamic-educated colleges are not effectively addressing Islamic education as required in national policies as part of the compulsory part of the curriculum. Nevertheless, a more effective balance between secular education and Islamic education is found between new Islamic integrated schools to prepare students for the challenges of this globalized world.
