The training game “Foreign policy of a state”, developed by the author in 2002, is presented in the article. Teaching techniques and ways of practical use of the game in special courses for international relations students of Far East State Technical University (Vladivostok, Russia) and Institute of Business and Law (Moscow, Russia) are examined. The author analyzes the results of his educational experiment from the perspective of competency building approach and proposes ways of wider use of the game “Foreign policy of a state” in order to develop professional competencies of graduate international relations students.

the XII All-Russian Conference “Thermophysics and Power Engineering in Academic Centers” (TPEAC 2021) October 25-27, 2021, Sochi, Russia The All-Russian scientific conference “Thermophysics and Power Engineering in Academic Centers“ (TPEAC-2021) continues series of conferences (workshops) on thermophysics and heat power engineering. Since the first conference until now, the principal organizer of the conference is the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics, SB RAS. The 1st Workshop of the University Departments and Research Teams in Siberia and the far East specializing in thermophysics was held in Novosibirsk in 1978. Since then, the geographical spread of the Conference expanded every year involving various research centers: Tomsk, 1980; Krasnoyarsk, 1982; Vladivostok, 1984; Kemerovo, 1986; Ulan-Ude, 1988. The 7th Workshop was held in Novosibirsk, September 9-12, 1990, at the Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS. Workshop of Universities in Siberia and Far East on Thermophysics and Heat Power Engineering, dedicated to the 85th Birthday of the Workshop founder, academician S.S. Kutateladze, was held in Novosibirsk, October 6-8, 1999, at the Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS, and the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). Since 1999 new series of workshops started. The 2nd Workshop was held in Tomsk, 2001, at the Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU); 3rd - in Barnaul, 2003, at the Altai State Technical University; 4th - in Vladivostok, 2005, at the Far-East State Technical University; 5th - in Irkutsk, 2007, at the Irkutsk State Technical University. Since 2009, when the 6th Workshop was held in Krasnoyarsk at the Siberian Federal University, it acquired the status of an All-Russian conference. The 7th All-Russian Workshop of Universities on Thermophysics and Power Engineering was held in Kemerovo, 2011, at the Kuzbas State Technical University; 8th - in Yekaterinburg, 2013, at the Ural Federal University. Since 2015, when the 9th Workshop was held in Kazan, at the Kazan State Engineering University, it acquired the status of an international conference. International Conference “The 10th Workshop of Universities on Thermophysics and Power Engineering“, was held in Moscow, 2017, at the Moscow Engineering University. The 11th All-Russian scientific conference with international participation “Thermophysics and Power Engineering in Academic Centers“ (TPEAC-2019) held based on the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), Saint Petersburg. The article reveals the topic of the influence of ski training on the development of physical qualities in students, since today there is a tendency to increase chronic diseases in young people, many diseases have become younger, which leads to the search for new types of activities or simply the introduction of proven improved techniques for decades, and skiing is one of the main types of activities in our region. A list of the main muscle groups involved in skiing is given, some exercises of ski training are presented as part of the program for the main department of the university, an experiment was conducted with students of the Perm State Technical University in order to identify the influence of ski training on the development of students ' basic motor qualities. Research methods. The method of pedagogical experiment was applied, and during the exercises a variety of effective methods used in practice were applied – variable, repeated, competitive, control. Conclusion. The obtained results are analyzed and compared, conclusions are made, as well as some recommendations are given, the positive impact of ski training on the basic physical qualities of students and health in general is revealed.

Abstract The article discusses the research activities of Vladimir Mikhailovich Khvostov, his creative legacy on issues and problems of international relations of the early ХХ century; the life of V.M. Khvostov, characterization and evolution of his approaches and views on the history of international relations, foreign policy. A prominent organizer and theorist in the field of pedagogical Sciences, academician Vladimir Mikhailovich Khvostov played a significant role in the formation of the Academy of pedagogical Sciences of the USSR – the all-Union center of pedagogical thought. As its first President, he paid great attention to the development and improvement of the system of humanitarian education in the school, taking into account all the tasks and requirements imposed by the practice of Communist construction in our country. In his reports and speeches at various scientific sessions and conferences, he repeatedly emphasized the exceptional importance of social Sciences in the training of not only educated girls and boys, but also in the formation of politically literate youth.

The article considers and analyses the basic principles and directions of Russian foreign policy activities during the presidency of V.V. Putin from the moment of his assumption of the post of head of state to the current presidential term. The authors determine the basic principles of Russia's foreign policy in the specified period and make the assessment to them. The study uses materials from publications of both Russian and foreign authors, experts in the field of political science, history and international relations, as well as documents regulating the foreign policy activities of the highest state authorities. The paper considers the process of forming the priorities of Russia's foreign policy both from the point of view of accumulated historical experience and continuity of the internal order, and in parallel with the processes of transformation of the entire system of international relations and the world order. The article notes the multi-vector nature of Russia's foreign policy strategy aimed at developing multilateral interstate relations, achieving peace and security in the interstate arena, actively countering modern challenges and threats to interstate security, as well as the formation of a multipolar world. The authors conclude that at present, Russia's foreign policy activity is aimed at strengthening Russia's prestige, supporting economic growth and competitiveness, ensuring security and implementing national interests. Internal political reforms contribute to strengthening the political power of the President of the Russian Federation and increasing the efficiency of foreign policy decision-making.
