The purpose of this research is to reexamine the factors allegedly effecttoincome smoothing, whiches firm size, profitability, financial leverage, institutional ownership. The sample of this study consisted of 59 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013 until 2015. To determine the status of grading company and not a profit grader used Eckel index. As for answering research hypothesis used Logistic Regression analysis tools. The results of this study concludes that income smoothing taken by the company to go public in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Multivariate testing using the Logistic Regression showed thatfirm size, profitability, financial leverage has significant effect on income smoothing. While, the variable institutional ownership had no significant effect on income smoothing.

The aim of this research is to prove the effect of financial leverage, profitability, net profit margin and firm size to the income smoothing. Population of this research is manufacturing companies listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period of 2016-2018 with sampling determined by purposive sampling. Data analyzed using logistic regression (binary logistic regresion). The results of this research showed that financial leverage and profitability have negative effect to income smoothing, and at the opposite net profit margin has positive effects  to income smoothing. Whereas firm size has no effects to income smoothing

The purpose of this empirical research is to examine the effect of firm size, financial leverage, profitability, and cash holding against income smoothing in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2016. This research uses 63 manufacturing companies that were selected using purposive sampling method for a total of 189 data in three years.In this study, the hypotheses test is performed using the logistic regression model.The results showed that profitability, cash holding and firm size has no effect on income smoothing. Financial Leverage has a negative influence on income smoothing.

This study aimed to examine the effect of Firm Size, Financial Leverage, Dividend Payout Ratio, and Firm Value toward Income Smoothing in BUMN Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange.  Income Smoothing measured by Index Eckel’s.  The Population in this study is BUMN companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019 Based on the purposive sampling method, the sum of a sample obtained from the population is 16 companies.  Sources of data obtained from annual reports of companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019.  The analytical method for this study uses logistic regression analysis and Mann Whitney test with SPSS 21.  Based on the result of the analysis showed Firm Size, Financial Leverage, Dividend Payout Ratio, and Firm Value are not influence Income Smoothing.

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of company size, profitability, financial leverage, and cash holding on income smoothing practices. The population in this study were 126 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The method of determining samples by purposive sampling. The number of samples obtained was 48 samples with observations over 5 years so there were 240 observations. The practice of income smoothing is calculated using the eckel index and the analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that company size, profitability, financial leverage, and cash holding have a positive effect on the income smoothing practices of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 to 2018. This study can provide additional knowledge about the effect of company size, profitability, financial leverage and cash holding on income smoothing practices. This study aims to exmine the effect of firm size, profitability, financial leverage, and dividend payout ratio on income smoothing tendency. The grouping of firms with income smoothing and without income smoothing use eckel index. Using binary logistic regression analysis, results shows that firm size and profitabilitas influence on income smoothing tendency.  Meanwhile, financial leverage and dividend payout ratio don’t influence on income smoothing tendency. This research is carried out to prove factors of tendency of accounting fraud in companies empirically. Variable used in predicting the tendency of accounting fraud is profitability level, capital turnover, financial leverage, assets composition, and firm size tendency of accounting fraud. The population is companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange that are suspected to fraud the accounting during observation year 2013 2015. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling, there are 12 companies are proven to be done fraud accounting and 12 companies are not. Data is analysed by using logistic regression analysis and Hosmer and Lemeshow test to measure the model. The result shows that capital turnover and assets composition has significant influence on tendency of accounting fraud. Besides, profitability, financial leverage, and firm size has insignificant influence on tendency of accounting fraud variable. This research concluded that capital turnover and assets composition can be used as predictor of tendency of accounting fraud in a company.

The capital market in Indonesia is currently growing, so that competition between companies is increasing. The company will try to increase the value of the company in order to attract investors to invest in the company. Management realizes that attention investors tend to only focus on profit, so managers are encouraged to practice income smoothing. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of firm value, firm size and profitability on income smoothing practices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 periode. The number of samples selected in banking companies is as many as 31 companies, using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is a logistic regression analysis and the results showed that the firm value and firm size had a positive effect on income smoothing practices, while the profitability did not effect the income smoothing practice. This study was conducted to find the effect of merger, management change, company dissatisfaction, audit fees, audit delay on auditor switching turnover in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2014-2018. Data used in this study namely secondary data of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 20142018 with a sample of 76 companies. This study used logistic regression analysis. The results confirmed that (1) the merger variable had no effect on auditor switching (2) management change variable had no effect on auditor switching (3) company dissatisfaction had an effect on auditor switching (4) audit fees had an effect on auditor switching (5) audit delay had an effect on auditor switching.

Income smoothing is an action performed by the company’s management in order to reduce fluctuations earnings This is done with the motivation to show good performance to investors, by showing stable corporate profits. Income smoothing is done by adding or reducing the company’s actual profit, to be moved to certain period. This study used a quantitative research method. Purposive sampling method was used, that is 59 samples in the period of 3 years. Therefore, the obtained samples were amounted to be 177 in total. Logistic regression analysis was used. The result showed that profitability, leverage and firm size have influence simultaneously significant to income smoothing. Partially, profitability have a positive effect, while the leverage and firm size do not have an effect to income smoothing.

The research was aimed to determine the effect of auditor switching, audit tenure,  company size variables on audit quality and to determine fee audit fee variables in moderating the effect between auditor switching, audit tenure, and company size variables on audit quality. The population is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2017 period. The total sample is 43 companies using the purposive sampling technique. The data used in the research were financial statements. The method of data analysis uses logistic regression analysis for the hypotheses of auditor switching, audit tenure, and company size. Logistic regression analysis with a residual test for the hypotheses of auditor switching, audit tenure, and company size on audit quality that moderated by fee audit. The results of the research indicated that auditor switching had a negative and significant effect on audit quality. While audit tenure and company size have a positive and significant effect on audit quality. Related to moderating variables indicate that fee audit is not able to moderate auditor switching and audit tenure on audit quality. Conversely, fee audit has an effect as a moderating variable between company size and audit quality
