The text of the articleis a proposal of a way of working in the new high school (after primary school), whichfunctions in the conditions set by the structural and curriculum reform. The author distances himself from the concept of historical and literary education, at the same time showing the inability to maintain the problematic order in literary and cultural education under the conditions of implementing the obligation of the core curriculum. In opposition to the sanctioned model of education in the education of high school students, it proposes a concept of work that, on the one hand, respects the curriculum requirements, and on the otherhand, meets the authentic needs and expectations of students, and includes broadly understood popular culture in the scope of teaching interests. Such thinking is exemplified by the presentation of anexcerpt from the work plan implemented in the firstgrades of the new high school. It is provided with a commentary that reveals the difficulties of such an organization of literary and cultural education in the current curriculum conditions.

Discipline in class is essential. Without it the educational processes and teachings are difficult. In this manner curricula goals are almost impossible to achieve. There are and there always will be some kind of conflicts between teachers and students, but they should not evolve to become a problem. Teachers (especially elderly teachers) often express pessimism of contemporary students. They say that today's students have less knowledge, they do misbehave more often than previous generations. A study among students was conducted. It was trying to determine the rate of discipline in schools in Celje to see if these statements are true. The questionnaire to students of one primary and one high school in Celje, Slovenia were distributed. The answers from 234 students were received. On the one hand, it was found out that senior high school students have the worst level of discipline of all the grades tested. They themselves assess their class atmosphere as less disciplined. They report that teachers use a lot of time to calm the class down. All this is probably a factor in lower average grade that the senior high school students have. On the other hand, it was found out that teachers do not react to the disturbance or they are trying to be repressive. These are not the correct ways of dealing with discipline issues. Therefore, there are some recommended ways how teachers should react. Keywords: discipline in class, primary school, contemporary student, elderly teachers.

Moroccan high school students find major difficulties in understanding the concepts related to electricity. The problem lies not only in the knowledge itself but also in the teaching practices. Even worse, in the Moroccan educational system, the lack of experimental activities and the low rate of integration of educational technologies hinder an effective teaching of these concepts. Indeed, the lack of these experimental activities is the main cause of the introduction of the erroneous conceptions. This lack can be remedied through simulation. The simulation is the one-off solution for the phenomena invisible to the human eye. In this chapter, the authors review the literature of the main pedagogical approaches used to facilitate the acquisition of phenomena of electricity and specially the historical investigation approach based on collaborative learning. Also, they highlight the added value of the combination of the investigation and simulation of phenomena of electricity.

Pengujian metode pencocokan kata dengan algoritma Boyer-Moore pada soal matematika dan fisika yang sebanyak 30 kali membuktikan bawah aplikasi dapat menampilkan daftar rumus yang sesuai dalam melakukan pencocokkan pola kata kunci di soal baik matematika maupun fisika tingkat SMA.Kata kunci :Pencocokan Kata Kunci, Boyer-Moore, Rumus, Matematika, Fisika[en]Difficult to find and memorize math and physics becomes an obstacle for the majority of high school students, especially in answering the questions that exist. It takes precision to determine what is stated in the question. This study investigated how to make the detection of keywords contained in the math and physics as well matched using string matching method. The algorithm used to perform string matching algorithm is the Boyer-Moore. Each keyword data in the database will be taken based on the physics or mathematics, then broken down per word. Once the data has been broken down into key words per word, every keyword will perform matching to the matter that the user entered with a string matching method. Once matched and the matching result is successful, the application will display a list of formulas that have keywords match the one in question. Testing method of string matching algorithms Boyer-Moore in math and physics as much as 30 times to prove under the application can display a list of the appropriate formula in performing the pattern matching keywords in a matter of both mathematics and physics high school level. Keywords : String Matching, Boyer-Moore, Formula, Math, Physics.

Awareness and knowledge of both the engineering profession and engineering education programming is important for students in high school because strategic course choices must be made for students to qualify for university enrolment. This paper, a work-in-progress of a larger study, uses a qualitative analysis framed by the CEAB Graduate Attributes to gain insight into how teachers identify students who could become engineers. Participants clearly identified traits that describe the Knowledge Base attribute. Many participants identified other traits that described how students work; these did not fit easily within one attribute. The one attribute that was notably absent was Design. The findings describe that participants had a partial idea of the traits that would describe a potential engineer. This gap in knowledge supports work to develop a complete idea of the engineering profession at the high school level to ensure students can make informed course selection decisions and, in turn, career decisions

Self- knowledge and career knowledge of high school students are important aspects that need to be improved. This study aims to determine the significance of improvement in aspects of self-knowledge and career knowledge aspects of high school students through the classical service of career guidance using PowerPoint media based on object superiority effects, which was designed using the one-cycle classroom action research method in the students population of class XII of ITP high school at Surabaya city with a sample of 78 students taken by random class techniques. The research data was collected using the scale of students' self-knowledge and the scale of students' career knowledge. The research data were analyzed using parametric statistical t test techniques with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 23.0 program. The results of the data analysis of students’ self-knowledge obtained a value of t = -.399 at a significant level of .691 which means not significant, while the results of data analysis of students' career knowledge obtained a value of t = -1.758 at a significant level of .081, which also means insignificant. The results of this study indicate that the classic service actions of career guidance using PowerPoint media based on object superiority effects significantly cannot improve self-knowledge and career knowledge of high school students. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that further research be conducted by using integrated guidance and counseling services in an effort to improve self- knowledge and career knowledge of high school students.

The article is devoted to the organization of work on S.A. Yesenin’s poem “Sorokoust” in the context of studying the work of S.A. Yesenin’s in the 11th grade. In the introduction to the article, its purpose is outlined, which the author defines as a justification for the choice of methodological tools for understanding and mastering the classical poetic text included in the school literary education program by high school students. A brief digression into the history of the development, justification, and classification of methods of interaction between teachers and students in literature classes confirms the relevance of the problem in terms of the variety of combinations and patterns not only at the level of methods, but also within the method itself, taking into account the introduction of learning technologies and the development of a modern digital educational environment. Based on the analysis of literary and methodological approaches to the study of S.A. Yesenin’s creativity at school, the author shows the effectiveness of combining various methods and their elements in the study of the poet’s biography (teacher’s recitation, lecture elements, students’ reports with the involvement of media sources and media resources) at the stages of reading and analyzing the poem “Sorokoust” (working with sources, comparing the poem with the life’s primary basis, reading a poem with the involvement of various types of commentary, preparing an expressive reading of the poem by students), at the final classes on the topic (questions and tasks of a problematic, research nature, creative tasks, conducting independent educational research, attracting various types of art). Based on the proposed approach, the article actualizes the direction of the work in which the diversity of methods used is determined by the ideological and artistic creativity of the writer, the poet’s worldview, the atmosphere of the era, becomes a way of understanding the poet’s personality and artistic method by the learners, to find new meanings. The article concerns the choice of methods with the most pronounced focus on the emotional effectiveness of a poetic work on high school students, contributing to the development of the artistic taste and improving the reading and general culture.

Young women every month experiencing menstruation will be at risk for anemia, coupled with poor dietary habits. The aim of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of giving Fe tablets to hemoglobin levels of female students who suffer from anemia in SMAN 3 in Sampang Regency. Descriptions of quasi-experimental studies using the one sample pre-post design cohort approach, the population is the third-grade students of Sampang State High School who suffer from anemia as many as 115 students. The sample size is determined by the formula as many as 89 respondents. Provision of Fe tablets for 1 week with a dose of 1 day 1 time, when students experience menstruation. Data retrieval was done by measuring Hb levels before and after administration of Fe tablets. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by a paired test t-test. The results of the study showed that the administration of iron tablets was significant for changes in Hb levels that the results of the test analysis showed a p-count of 0.00. This is due to the fact that the administration of Fe tablets for 1 week can change Hb levels in Sampang 3 High School students. The conclusions of the study showed that the administration of Fe tablets was able to change Hb levels so that students who were anemic at the time of menstruation should be given a Fe tablet so that there was no decrease in hemoglobin levels. Keyword: Anemia, tablet Fe, Kadar Hb
