Abstract Background: Telemedicine allows healthcare professionals to manage patient treatments remotely and to benefit from the interaction of telemedicine centers. Even though telemedicine responds to the current burdens in healthcare systems, these complex infrastructures depend on technology, financing, organization, policy, legislation, and, not least, on their corresponding acceptance by the user. Little is known in this context about the drivers for this acceptance by healthcare professionals giving treatment. Germany, with the highest healthcare spending in the world, is particularly lagging here. Methods: A literature review was conducted to identify the acceptance factors that had already been detected and frequently confirmed. These factors were evaluated according to the coverage of the interactive infrastructures with telemedicine centers and how accurately they fitted Germany. The identified factors were adapted, and missing factors were designed, via an idea collection for items. The reliability of the developed constructs was tested using a field test to check the constructs using item revision analysis. Results: Frequently supported external variables, taken from 17 filtered studies covering the technical, organizational, social, legal, and individual context, were identified. However, the review showed that there was less focus on the German setting and the interactive aspect, so the market-related variables were adapted and new constructs of “trust in the telemedicine center” and “relationship to patient” were added. Ten variables were proven to have a reliability, measured with Cronbach’s Alpha, of more than 0.7.Conclusion: This paper enhances the already existing technology acceptance studies in healthcare by covering German specifications and the interactive character of TSSs. A corresponding questionnaire has been developed ready for future research.

This study aims to provide a systematic review regarding the consequences of knowledge hiding in the organization by ascertaining, synthesizing and evaluating theoretical, methodological and empirical dimensions of other works in the field. Design/methodology/approach: applying systematic review methodology to present the current consequences of knowledge hiding behavior in organizations. Findings: all of the studies indicated that knowledge hiding behavior hurts organizational performance and develop unhealthy working environments. Limitations/ implications: this systematic review is designed only to present a conceptual synthesis of existing works. A meta-analysis to an empirical study to obtain a more detailed framework is encouraged. Originality/value: this study contributes to organizational behavior literature by identifying the consequences of knowledge hiding, presenting the different methodological frameworks used to establish the relationships between knowledge hiding and their consequences, and to introduce the gaps for future researches.

At present, the trend of technology usage is leading to the formation of a super-smart society, known as Technology 4.0. Technology 4.0 subsequently encourages the emergence of various innovations that in turn affect organizations. This article aims to provide stakeholders with an understanding of the current situation faced by organizations who are entering Technology 4.0. This literature review contains three parts, namely: a general illustration of Technology 4.0 in Indonesia along with a gap analysis between its application in Indonesia and the rest of the world; the factors that cause this aforementioned gap; and the changing elements of work and organizational life caused by Technology 4.0. The result of this literature review is expected to provide insights for the government, education institutions, the general society, and human resources who are working to enter the era of Technology 4.0.

Generating creative ideas and turning them into innovations is key for competitive advantage. However, endeavors toward creativity and innovation are bounded by constraints such as rules and regulations, deadlines, and scarce resources. The effect of constraints on creativity and innovation has attracted substantial interest across the fields of strategic management, entrepreneurship, industrial organization, technology and operations management, organizational behavior, and marketing. Research in these fields has focused on various constraints that trigger distinct mediating mechanisms but is fragmented and yields conflicting findings. We develop a taxonomy of constraints and mediating mechanisms and provide an integrative synthesis that explains how constraints affect creativity and innovation. Our review thus facilitates cross-disciplinary learning and sets the stage for further theoretical development.

The relevance of supply chain management (SCM) is being increasingly recognized in the construction industry. However, its implementation has been limited and is still challenging for researchers and practitioners. An adequate and systematic understanding of context-specific core concepts and practices are considered fundamental to foster its implementation. This paper aims to provide a holistic look into the existing research on elements underlying SCM in the construction industry. It adopts a systematic literature review method to examine almost two decades of publications and uses a comprehensive SCM framework to synthesize the findings. The results revealed a set of 19 core elements clustered in five subject areas (i.e., ‘strategic management’, ‘logistics’, ‘relationships’, ‘best practices’ and ‘organizational behavior’) that have a prominent role in construction SCM. Every core element was analyzed in detail and the results were discussed in the context of other evidence. This study produced the first comprehensive picture of the current state of knowledge, providing relevant contributions to enhance the understanding and implementation of SCM within the construction industry.
