Abstract Simulation programs are increasingly being used to solve material flow problems. These programs are primarily used for the simulation of production or transport processes. Testing of a new type of control in-process would mean stopping production and testing experiments with uncertain results. To avoid this lengthy and above all expensive way of any change, simulation programs have been used. Simulations of production processes in these programs enable better production planning and examination of bottlenecks in the production process by proposing changes, such as robots, conveyors, or also various logistics controls. The advantage is not only the fact that the production does not have to be interrupted, but also that it is possible to try many different experiments in a simulation process. The article is focused on the analysis of the production process in a selected production enterprise. After the analysis, the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation program was used for the creation of production process simulation. Results and improvements to the production process were proposed from the initial simulation with a focus on practical use.

Purpose: Improvement measures are taken unceasingly in organizations in order to optimize the obtained results in each sphere of a company’s functioning. This article presents the results of an improvement process conducted for a welding operation in the given production process. Design/methodology/approach: Taking advantage of the Kaizen approach, the article describes the results of this process and its visualization, which has been conducted with the help of a Spaghetti Chart tool. Findings: Initially, it has demonstrated that the analysis of real pathways of product value creation at the given worksite through application of the mapped-out changes brings about measurable effects. The applied worksite reorganization allowed for a limitation of an employee’s excessive movements at the worksite. In order to conduct a benchmark – both states “before” and “after” the introduction of improvement changes have been juxtaposed. Research limitations/implications: The presented analysis has a temporally and spatially limited dimension - this simultaneously being an impulse to extend research in the future. While conducting an analysis of an operator’s work, the problem must be dealt with in a broad perspective - we conduced type case study, so this is the limitation. Practical implications: The conducted analysis has taken place in real organizational conditions, using the example of a functioning worksite. Working with the “continuous improvement” approach, the instruments for development have been initiated in all spheres and levels of the given organization. Line employees have been motivated by the management to carry out single modernizations at the given worksite, which has influenced their own development. This in turn has stimulated their conscious need for active participation in the process of change. Originality/value: The conducted analysis has taken place in real organizational conditions, using the example of a functioning worksite.

Abstract The difficulties in identifying the precise defect location and real leakage path is increasing as the integrated circuit design and process have become more and more complicated in nano scale technology node. Most of the defects causing chip leakage are detectable with only one of the FA (Failure Analysis) tools such as LCD (Liquid Crystal Detection) or PEM (Photon Emission Microscope). However, due to marginality of process-design interaction some defects are often not detectable with only one FA tool [1][2]. This paper present an example of an abnormal power consumption process-design interaction related defect which could only be detected with more advanced FA tools.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to provide an overview of the strategy and management of the Friday Khutbah production process at the Al-Falah Mosque in Surabaya as its object. The method used by researchers in this research is a case study with data collection procedures using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. So that researchers can explore the phenomenon of the object of research in detail and depth. The findings that occur in the field show results that are sharpened by descriptive descriptions of several categories of production. First, the process of determining the idea of the Friday sermon program at Al-Falah Mosque. Second, for the selection mechanism for Friday sermons at Al-Falah Mosque. Third, the design of the Friday sermon program at Al-Falah Mosque. Fourth, testing and evaluating the Friday sermon program at Al-Falah Mosque. Fifth, the final design of the Friday sermon program at Al-Falah Mosque.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini ditujukan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai strategi dan manajemen proses produksi khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah Surabaya sebagai objeknya. Pertama,  proses penentuan gagasan  program khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah. Kedua, untuk mekanisme  seleksi program khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah. Ketiga, desain program khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah. Keempat, pengujian dan evaluasi program khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah. Kelima, desain akhir program khutbah Jum’at di Masjid Al-Falah.
