Summary: Restoration of the endodonticallytreated teeth is a controversial topic in restorative dentistry, since many options exist to restorewhole or partially dental crowns. The option for treatment is not selected based on a precisediagnosis of the state of the dental remanent and differences between anterior and posterior teethare not evaluated. Therefore, a classification of the extension defects of endodontically posteriorteeth (EPT) is presented. This classification is based on 4 specific variables: vertical height andwalls distribution of supragingival remaining coronal tooth structure or core, diameter and rootcanal depth, and the distance of floor pulpar chamber and the root furcation. The correctapplication of this classification can help the operator to choose the best treatment option for thereconstruction of EPT, also this classification can help investigators to reach more organizedresults in future investigations on the reconstruction of EPT. Key words: Post and core. Endodontic.Diagnostic characteristics.

Reconstruction of endodontically treated teeth is common procedure in everyday clinical practice. It has great impact on prognosis of endodontically treated teeth, however, there is no consensus regarding the most predictable restorative procedure. Widely accepted procedure has included the use of post and core and crown. Nowadays, sound tooth structure preservation has become one of the most influencing factors in terms of survival rate of treated teeth. Therefore, direct restorations have become more advantageous as compared to crowns. This article is a review about conservative reconstruction of endodontically treated posterior teeth. The purpose was to give the guidelines for clinicians how to choose the most successful therapeutic procedure for each individual case.

ABSTRACT Endodontically treated teeth have necessary use of intracanal posts. Due to the constant need and search for esthetic materials with properties similar to tooth structure remaining fiberglass posts esthetic came good these shortcomings and are increasingly used as a first option for prosthetic rehabilitation. In this case report is described step by step how to perform the cementation of a nonmetallic post and core construction for making a piece prosthetic onlay in a simplified way, by choosing the self-etching cementation technique. In restorative dentistry, restoring poorly fractured endodontically treated teeth is a typical challenge. Such teeth frequently require additional root canal support in the form of a post and core repair. When endodontically treated teeth with lost coronal tooth structure are left untreated for an extended length of time, they may experience supra eruption, drifting, tilting, and rotation of adjacent teeth. Because of the lack of interocclusal space, the dentist may find it difficult to fabricate a crown. To restore normal anatomy, function, and aesthetics, teeth with less remaining crown height should have a post and core followed by a crown. The most challenging patients to treat are those with little inter occlusal clearance and steep incisal guidance. Teeth that have been badly damaged and have little or no crown structure require further retention and support. The Richmond crown is a wonderful option for restoring such teeth. For such circumstances, the Richmond crown is a viable treatment alternative that may be executed with very little incisal clearance to accommodate post, core, and crown thickness. Richmond crown, which comprised a threaded tube in the canal and a screw-retained crown, was first presented in 1878. It was eventually reconfigured as a one-piece dowel and crown when the threaded tube was removed. The current article focuses on Richmond crown restoration and its variations, including diagnosis and treatment planning for such restorations, as well as fabrication techniques.

Summary: A classification of the extension defects ofendodontically anterior teeth is presented. This classification is based on the amount of remanentcoronal tooth after an essential treatment has been done, such as: root canal therapy, removal ofcarious tissue, periodontal surgery whenever needed and tooth preparation either for the placementof a direct restoration material such as composite or a post and core and full crown restoration. This classification is based on 3 specific variables: supragingival remaining coronal toothstructure or core height, diameter and root canal depth. Key words: Post and core. Root canaltreatment. Diagnostic.

The optimal way to restore teeth after endodontic treatment continues to remain a controversial topic of heated debate to this day. Endodontically treated teeth (ETT) present with significantly different mechanical properties compared to vital teeth. The modifications in the biomechanical properties and structural integrity of the teeth are most-likely attributed to the volumetric loss of the hard tissues, extent of carious lesion, fracture propagation, final cavity preparation in addition to the access cavity prior to endodontic therapy. Hence based on above findings the present study was planned for comparative evaluation of Restoration of Endodontically Treated Teeth with Different Crowns. The study was planned in Department of Dentistry, Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital, Gaya, Bihar. The 60 cases of the Endodontically treated teeth (ETT) were enrolled in the present study. The patients were divided in the 4 groups as per different material and restorations given. The survival of ETT is contingent on the residual sound tooth structure that remains after the endodontic access and caries removal are performed consequently the most important factors upon restoring ETT become the maximum preservation and conservation of enamel, dentin and the dentinoenamel junction. Hence, bonded partial restorations are always preferred over full coverage cementable crowns. More clinical studies comparing adhesive crowns bonded to postless build-ups or post and -core build-ups are needed for a better understanding of postless approaches in biomimetic restorative dentistry. The literature reports several materials for the restoration of endodontically treated teeth, with coronal destruction that requires an intra-root fiber post to stabilize the prosthetic part. The intra-radicular post of composite resin reinforced with fiberglass can be used as retainers in rehabilitating endodontically treated teeth due to their adhesiveness, pleasing aesthetics, and elasticity module close to the dentin less wear on the remaining structure. This clinical case reports the step-by-step application of dual resin cement (Rebilda DC Dentine - Voco) used as the cementation material of the post and material for the filling core in a single step, in an upper right lateral incisor. Moreover, it describes the advantages and indications of the post-and-core technique, also called “monobloc” which can be used in both anterior and posterior teeth. This protocol minimizes the adhesive interfaces, the chair time, and the steps of the clinical procedure.

Background: Efficacy of continuous intravenous proton- pump inhibitors (IV PPI) and hemoclips alone was proved, but data about combination of an application of endoscopy clips and intermittent IV PPI in Vietnam was still limited. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of endoscopy hemoclip combined with intermittent IV PPI in the patients of peptic ulcer bleeding. Patients and methods: 34 patients diagnosed as peptic ulcer bleeding, having Forrest classification of Ia, Ib, IIa and IIb, were enrolled. Esomeprazole was administered as 80 mg IV bolus followed by intermittent IV injection of 40 mg/8h during 72h. Results: Immediate hemostasis was achieved in all 34 patients. Only 1 patient (2.9%) had early rebleeding. No severe complications was found in this study. Conclusion: Combination of endoscopy hemoclips and intermittent PPI showed effective, safe in patients of peptic ulcer bleeding. Key words: Peptic ulcer bleeding, intermittent PPI, endoscopy hemoclip

Today, around 50 million people worldwide suffer from cataracts, more than a half of them need surgical treatment. High prevalence of this pathology in Ukraine, the need to improve the provision of ophthalmic care to patients, and the reform of the health care system have made the research relevant. Concomitant diseases and special conditions of the eye increase the risk of intra− and postoperative complications, worsen the functional parameters of patients after surgery. In order to develop a unified approach to the treatment of complicated cataracts based on diagnostically related groups of patients, a retrospective analysis of case histories of patients with different variants of complications related to the condition of the lens itself, its ligament apparatus and other structures of the eye was conducted. In each case, the surgeon has to choose the appropriate modification of cataract phacoemulsification surgery. The study proposed the classification of cataract phacoemulsification modifications on the basis of the techniques and the sequence of operation stages, taking into account the classification of the degrees of turbidity of the lens, proposed by L. Buratto. It has been noted that in complicated cases, according to the indications of the patient, surgery may be performed on several modifications of cataract phacoemulsification. The developed classification made it possible to generalize the various variants of pathology and greatly facilitate the choice of tactics of surgical treatment in complicated cataracts. It can be used not only for practical application, but also for improving the qualification of trained professionals. The prospect of further research is to identify contraindications for outpatient treatment of the patients with complicated cataracts. Key words: cataract complication, classification of phacoemulsification modifications, diagnostically related groups.

Background: Corporate entrepreneurship (CE) is credited for many positive organisational outcomes, including systemic growth and increased revenue. Several terms associated with CE, including strategic renewal, corporate venturing and intrapreneurship are frequently used interchangeably and often confuse scholars, researchers and practitioners. The lack of clarity about the exact meaning of these terms is detrimental to the synergy in the current body of knowledge and the development of models involving these concepts. Objective: The aim of this paper was to describe CE as a unique concept, distinguishable from related concepts. Methodology: Several definitions of CE as well as the related terms were dissected, to identify core elements associated with each of them. The validity of these comprehensive definitions was tested by requesting 68 master’s degree students to classify the definitions. Inter-rater reliabilities were calculated in order to assess the level of agreement in the classification of the constructs. Results: The results indicate that CE is difficult to distinguish from strategic renewal and corporate venturing, but that intrapreneurship seems to be better defined and separate from the other constructs. Conclusion: These results emphasise the conceptual confusion that exists around CE and the need for further clarification of terminology.

KEY WORDS

Corporate entrepreneurship, strategic renewal, corporate venturing, intrapreneurship.
