<p>Development of sales information systems is built to produce an information system that includes various procedures that record, calculate, and make documents in the form of reports for management needs in making decisions, ranging from purchase orders from suppliers, recording inventory of goods, to selling goods to consumers. Information on sales recording activities is still manual so there can be a possibility of entry errors and the presence of branch companies that are late or have not provided a sales report. With the existing problems in this company, then this final project research will create a sales system. Based on these problems, a sales information system was made at PT XYZ. PT XYZ Sales Information System Design uses the waterfall method with php laravel framework in producing a system that will record and update purchase order data, item data, and sales order data and can print reports according to the desired date, month and year.</p>

Nowadays almost every map is a component of the information system. Design and production of maps requires the use of specific rules for modeling information systems: conceptual, application and data modelling. While analyzing various stages of cartographic modeling the authors ask the question: at what stage of this process a map occurs. Can we say that the “life of the map” begins even before someone define its form of presentation? This question is particularly important at the time of exponentially increasing number of new geoinformation products. During the analysis of the theory of cartography and relations of the discipline to other fields of knowledge it has been attempted to define a few properties of cartographic modeling which distinguish the process from other methods of spatial modeling. Assuming that the map is a model of reality (created in the process of cartographic modeling supported by domain-modeling) the article proposes an analogy of the process of cartographic modeling to the scheme of conceptual modeling presented in ISO 19101 standard.

This Final Project is one of the graduation requirements for Industrial Engineering students at the Islamic University of Bandung. Currently.  The final project consultation process is conducted manually using physical documents owned by each student as proof of consultation in the form of a consultation card. The problem faced was the difficulty in monitoring consultations and recording consultation discussions which were not well organized. The purpose of this study is to design a consulting information system using the prototyping method. The prototyping method is a system development method used to describe the system. The stages in this method consist of: (1) The planning stage is the identification of system requests. (2) the analysis phase analyzes the existing business processes in the final project section and identifies functional and non-functional requirements, (3) the design phase includes the interaction design of systems, processes, data and logical systems and physical interfaces. (4) Implementation phase of database and website development using PHP language and MySQL database. The results obtained from this study are business process consulting for the Final Project after the implementation of the proposed information system; final project consulting information system design which is expected to facilitate the consultation process in terms of time and consultation file documentation

User interface is very important part of an information system. Design requires a serious effort, especially in understanding the user requirements. User interface should support users in completing their tasks. This is becoming the user requirements to be fulfilled by information systems. In reviewing the user requirements a designer can use tools. Tool discussed in this paper is the Sequence Diagram. Index Terms— Information system, design, sequence diagram, tools, user interface, user requirements.

Abstract Information systems are increasingly playing a pivotal role towards the integration of manufacturing functions. Several tools and modeling methodologies have been developed to facilitate the design and implementation of information systems for complex manufacturing environments. However, none of the methodologies or tools provide a comprehensive environment that can be used for the information system design from start to finish. The methodologies and tools are incomplete, and are inconsistent with each other. The IDEF (Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing Definition) provides a set of methodologies that cover activity modeling, relationship modeling, and dynamic modeling that are consistent to each other, but still operate essentially in a stand alone fashion. Several CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools have been developed to implement these methodologies. The complexity and size of the manufacturing systems warrant the use of these tools. These tools can significantly increase the productivity of information system designers, but are still lacking in many respects as discussed in this paper. This study attempts to review the current state of the art in modeling methodologies and tools; to compare the existing data models; to explore the functionalities they offer; and to define a set of characteristics that are desirable in a modeling methodology for integrated information system design. The results are from a manufacturing point of view and were derived through case studies in manufacturing environments.

In China, recently, quite a few water allocation projects have built its information systems. However, the design criteria of information systems are usually chaotic, and sometimes it is various degrees of over-developed. This paper consider that a design specification of information systems for water allocation projects must be issued soon. Depend on the current situation of information system design, some suggestion was proposed in this paper to discuss how to draft a design specification for water allocation project information system. The design specification will regulate the developing of information systems, save water resources, and finally improve the management level of water allocation projects.

Information systems are starting to become an important requirement in our daily lives. This is proven because its function is very useful in doing work. In this case, the use of information systems that can facilitate the activities of organizations such as the Student Association in order to maximize organizational goals. The information system design was developed using software Microsoft Access because of its easy use. In addition, the design is also carried out using diagrams that are made from the work of the information system to be developed.

Curug SMPN 1 is one of the state senior high schools in Tangerang regency, precisely in Curug district. The teacher absentee system in implementing learning has been running and is considered ineffective because it still has to record in books which are considered inefficient. To facilitate the need for teachers to record reports in books and to make it easier for supervisors, a web-based information system design was created. The method used is a prototype model using the help of an application from Adobe. With the prototype it is expected that the use of the WhatsApp service can be used to provide information to parents. The use of this prototype method is expected to be developed in other schools.

Employee processing of official staff management at AKBID Ibrahimy covers some processing which include the processing of employee agreement, vacation and work permit request, the submission of the employee resignation, employee assessment, the issuance of employee and employer retirement warning. This activity is supporting the needs of the employment division that are still not computerized in the processing of employee management, the Head of employee devision as the person in charge of the processing of employee management in AKBID Ibrahimy can’t work effectively for processing of related documents. Based on the problems happened at AKBID Ibrahimy in processing employee management mentioned above, in order to help minimize these problems are needed the design of Management Information Systems at the AKBID Ibrahimy. This information system is expected to help simplify the processing of employee management in AKBID Ibrahimy. The system is designed using waterfall method with several steps being taken from the Requirement to Maintenance and made with PHP language programming and MySQL. From the results of this study are expected to resolve the management processing problems that has been happening. The test results as a benchmark whether the system is running well or not. Suistability employee management information system design can help the processing of employee management in AKBID Ibrahimy.
