The research design used is Nonequivalent Control-Group Design. Sampling technique of this research using purposive random sampling. Data collection techniques are: test, observation and questionnaire techniques. The research was conducted at one of Vocational High School in Cirebon City, SMK RISE Kedawung Cirebon. The implementation of this practicum-based learning can be fully (100%) implemented. Practicum-based learning is able to improve students' science process skills before the learning (pretest) the average student score is 38.13, while after learning is 85.27. N-Gain obtained in each indicator of science process skill are observation, prediction, and use a tool or material or source are 1 (one); apply the concept, communicate, interpretation are 0.90; to plan an experiment is 0,74; The hypothesized is 0.62. The value of improvement students' science process skill indicator based on the highest observation is the indicator of using the tool or the material or the source 47, and the lowest is indicator 28. Improvement scientific attitudes of students based on the highest is prioritizes the proof indicator 48, and the lowest is the indicator of a positive attitude to failure 28. Practicum-based learning is very good and appropriate to be implemented in the learning process because it can be provide experience and skills in working in laboratory environment carefully and according to the procedureKeywords: Practicum-based learning; Science process skills; Scientific attitude

This research was conducted in SDN Purwoyoso 02 and 03 with quasy-experiment method, experiment class 1 using structured inquiry and exeperiment class 2 using guided inquiry learning model. Data collection techniques used 20 multiple choice tests, 5 indicators of scientific attitude observation and 5 indicators observation of science process skills. Data analysis techniques use N-gain and independent samples t-test. The study showed the following results: (1) there is an increased of mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes and scientific process skills students in structured inquiry class with medium category gain. (2) there is an increase of mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes with and science process skills students in guided inquiry class with medium category gain. (3) there is a difference of mastery of concept, scientific attitude and science process skill between structured and guided inquiry class students. The result of mastery of scientific concepts, scientific attitudes, and inquiry skills of inquiry classes is higher than the structured inquiry class. The results of this study can be concluded that inquiry learning is better guided than structured inquiry.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Scientific Approach to learning science by setting Problem Based Learning (PBL) to empower Science Process Skill (SPS). This study is a quasi-experimental research with Posttest Only Control Group Design which divided into two groups: an experimental group using a Scientific Approach to setting PBL and control groups using expository method and experiment. The population are 124 second semester students of the 2015/2016 academic year. Sample was selected randomly from classess, and two classes was selected, i.e II/F class consisted of 38 students was selected as experimental class, and 36 students of the II/D class was determined as control class. Data of Science Process Skills tested by t-test. Results of analysis of test of hypothesis with a significance level of 5%, shows that the result of significance at p = 0.000 with t-test = 0.016. It means the students' SPS in the experimental class was 83.64, or higher than the control class (73.32). It can be concluded that the Scientific Approach on learning science by setting Problem Based Learning as the method had revealed as an approach to improve Science Process Skill of students.

Curriculum 2013 to emphasize of learning result on cognitive, affective, and skill. Curriculum 2013 not only to emphasize cognitive, however, also affective and skill need to be developed in the learning process. One of the skills that should be developed is the scientific process skills, because it is the high learning result. The objectives of this research are to know the science process skill diversification. Procedure this research using experiment method to design of Nonequivalent Control-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The results of this research there are the science process skills diverse using SSP of science based on PjBL and using teacher’s SSP.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of context-rich problems in the form of interactive multimedia on chemical students’ science process skills, scientific attitudes, and conceptual understanding in practical activities. This research is the quasi-experimental study with post test only control group design. The research sample consisted of 142 students divided into 3 groups. The 1st experimental group was treated using a context-rich problem in the form of interactive multimedia before practical activities, the 2nd experimental group used conventional rich problems, and control groups without context-rich problems. Data were collected by the science process skills observation sheets and portfolio, scientific attitude observation sheets, and conceptual understanding tests. Data were analyzed by inferential statistical methods using SPSS 15 software for windows. The results showed that the context-rich problems in the form of interactive multimedia had an effect on students' science process skills, scientific attitudes, and conceptual understanding.

This study aimed to determine the achievement of the mastery of science process skills of students who are trained in integrated learning disaster risk reduction efforts. This research is an experimental research design with one sample control group design. The sample in this study were 60 students of 7th grade student in SMP N 2 Cangkringan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. SMP N 2 Cangkringan is located near Merapi Mountain areas. Science process skills data were obtained using a process skills observation sheet that was filled in by the observer. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results shows that the scientific process skills profile of students who were trained together with the training of volcanic eruption disaster mitigation increased at each meeting. The most significant improvement was observing, followed by predicting skills, communicating skills, and drawing conclusions

This study is an experimental aims to finding out the effect of problem based learning through experimental methods on student’s physics science process skills of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015. The design of this study used pretest-posttest control group design, while the sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The population of this study is students of grade X Science Program SMA Negeri 1 Selong, while the samples are the students of class X 1 (experimental group) and class X 4 (control group). The instrument of this study is the science process skills test. The result data was analyzed by t-test pooled variant two tails. Obtain values thint = 5.38, ttable = 1.99 at the significance level of 5%. Because - ttable < thint > + ttable, then Ho will be rejected and Ha will be accepted which indicates that there is significant the effect of problem based learning through the experimental method on physics science process skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015.

This research was about the implementation of the ICARE (Introduction-Connect-Apply-Reflect-Extend) learning model to the science process skills compared to the DI (Direct Instruction) learning model. This research was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 4 Banjarmasin with sample consist of 2 classes selected by cluster random sampling, X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and X MIPA 4 as a control class. Data collection techniques were used test (instruments test description question) and observation technique like using the science process skills instrument. Data analysis using t-test obtained tcount larger than ttable at the 0.05 level of significance, ie 5.9 > 2.0, it means that there were a differenct in science process skills aspect between students who had learned with the ICARE learning model and the DI learning model. Students’ science process skills enhancement in the experimental class have a gain value of 0.61 in the medium category and in the control class have a gain value of 0.40 in the medium categoryKeywords: ICARE, science process skill, electrolyte and non electrolyte solution

The success of students in dealing with the globalization era of scientific literacy needs to be supported by practising skills, one of the skills that must be mastered by students in the science process skills and scientific questioning skills. This study aims to determine the implementation of the question webs based learning model of learning to improve science process skills and scientific questioning skills in grade X students at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah using a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique which was then divided into experimental and control groups. The data were collected from pretest and posttest scores which were then tested based on N-gain values. The results showed that the score of science process skills and scientific questioning skills of experimental class students obtained higher mean scores than control class mean scores. Statistically, it can be seen that testing the results of tests using the t-test 4.507 for science process skills and 29.79 for scientific questioning skills with a significant difference. The conclusion of this study shows that the question web-based learning model improve science process skills and scientific questioning skills compared to conventional models.
