Research by several researchers on Biology Education Research (BER) showed that science process skills (SPS) were still a little bit researched. The purposes of this research are to reveal the followings: (1) the potential of inquiry-based student books integrated with local resources to improve students' science process skills; and (2) the differences in boys and girls science process skills. An experiment using the factorial design (2 X 2) was done on 52 randomly-selected senior high school students. Data collection was used essay test, then analyzed using ANOVA. This research revealed that students' SPS experienced an improvement when they studied in an inquiry class supported by a student book integrated with local resources. There is no distinction in the science process skills of boys and girls students. Boys and girls have the same opportunity to develop their SPS.

Instructional media that are innovative and easy are really needed by students in the current situation. M-learning based on Home Science Process Skill (HSPS), is an innovative learning medium that applies science learning directly in life, with the guidance of parents at home and teachers. The study aims to produce design of m-learning based on home science process skill for science learning. This research was conducted in April 2021 at SMPN 30 Kota Tangerang. The method used was the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. The stages of research and development of learning media were to define stage, develop stage and evaluate stage. The results of the feasibility test for the design of m-learning based on Home Science Process Skill by media experts and material experts obtained an average assessment of 78.40% and 87.50% with good and very good interpretations. The conclusion of this research was that the design of this learning media was feasible to be used as a medium for student learning media.

Course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) offer a powerful approach to engage students at all academic levels in the process of scientific discovery. In comparison to prescriptive laboratory exercises, CUREs have been shown to promote students’ science process skill development, positive attitudes toward scientific research, and persistence in STEM.

Most natural phenomena in physics learning require students to understand conscientific knowledge, so to improve students' understanding requires a scientific approach. The skills that can be developed are the skills of the science process. To balance theory and practice, practical activities are required to practice the skills of the science process. . However, there have been some experiments in which processes and concepts are abstract - one of which is on particle wave dualisme material. This research aims to describe how poe2we blended models students' science process skills on particle wave dualism material through the use of virtual laboratories. This research method uses literature studies from previous research. The results showed that the poe2we blended model in the use of virtual laboratories in particle wave dualism material was found to be a science process skill in students.

This study aims to determine how the procedure for developing blended learning worksheets based on guided inquiry models and science process skills on the material of reduction and oxidation reactions in SMK. The method used in this research is to follow the Lee and Owens development model consisting of 5 stages of development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Analysis includes analysis of needs, characteristics of students, objectives, materials and technology. Design, researchers determine the schedule and development team, median specifications, prepare materials and make Flowcharts and storyboards. Development, develop LKPD according to storyboards, validated by material and media experts, and assessed by the teacher. Implementation includes group trials and effectiveness tests. Evaluation of LKPD in accordance with test results. Keywords: Blended learning, Guide inquiry, Reaction of reduction and oxidation, Science process skill, Student worksheet

This study aimed to determine the achievement of the mastery of science process skills of students who are trained in integrated learning disaster risk reduction efforts. This research is an experimental research design with one sample control group design. The sample in this study were 60 students of 7th grade student in SMP N 2 Cangkringan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. SMP N 2 Cangkringan is located near Merapi Mountain areas. Science process skills data were obtained using a process skills observation sheet that was filled in by the observer. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results shows that the scientific process skills profile of students who were trained together with the training of volcanic eruption disaster mitigation increased at each meeting. The most significant improvement was observing, followed by predicting skills, communicating skills, and drawing conclusions

Natural science was a lesson content that equipped and prepared students to have various essential skills for life; one of them is science process skill. However, natural science learning used for investing this skill was not run maximally, proven from the process and learning outcome. This research aimed to offer a solution related to that problem by developing Problem Based Learning-based interactive multimedia and effectiveness testing of PBL-based interactive multimedia to improve the science process skill. The research approach was research and development in which the research subjects consisted of students and teachers from cluster 01, Depok Sub-district, Sleman. The first field test obtained a score of 3.2, which was included in a mediate category, while the operational field test obtained a score of 4.3, which was included in the very good category. The independent t-test obtained a significance of 0.001 <0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. This research was implied that the learning media and model could influence the achievement of the student. Therefore, the selection should be well considered according to the learning characteristics and students.

The lack of availability of teaching materials that can foster student activity causes science process skills to be untrained. Therefore, research is aimed at teaching materials with the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model is feasible to improve the students’ activities and science process skill. This development design uses the ADDIE model. The trial subjects were 30 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Data collectoin was through validation sheets, observation of lesson plans, activity observation and students' science process skills, learning achievement tests. The results showed; (1) the validation results of lesson plan, worksheet, teaching materials, and assessment test were valid, (2) the implementation of lesson plan was very good, (3) the activities and the students’ science process skills in the category are very good. Other than that N-gain of the learning outcomes of 0.62 are in the medium category. It was concluded that teaching material with the CLIS model is feasible to increase the students’ activities and science process skills. Keywords: activities, teaching materials, science process skillsAbstrakMinimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar yang mampu menumbuhkan aktivitas peserta didik menyebabkan keterampilan proses sains belum terlatih.
