The author has designed a visual workbench to realize that the rim can rotate with the workbench. Meanwhile, the linear CCD camera records the rim’s circumference. The paper has explored the measurement method of getting the rim valve hole position using machine vision. The system can calculate the position of rim-hole and control the servo motor by image processing, characteristic recognizing and measuring to locate the position of wheel-hole automatically. And the paper has verified the accuracy of the method by experiments.

AbstractAttention Training (ATT) is an auditory attention-focusing technique that attempts to reduce the perseverative self-focused processing characteristic of anxiety and mood disorders. The present study investigated the effects of one session of ATT in the reduction and reappraisal of intrusive thoughts in a university sample reporting high levels of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. One-hundred and eight participants identified their most distressing intrusive thought and spent 7 minutes monitoring their stream of consciousness while recording occurrences of the identified thought. They then rated the unpleasantness of the intrusive thought, their attempts to dismiss the thought from consciousness, and their perceived success in reducing the frequency of the thought. Participants were then randomly assigned to receive one session of ATT, thought replacement instructions (TR), distraction instructions (DI), or no intervention (CONT). Participants then repeated the thought monitoring interval and ratings. ATT was expected to be the most effective in decreasing the frequency and unpleasantness of intrusive thoughts. However, contrary to hypotheses, all groups reported similar decreases across intervals. Implications of these findings are discussed.

The effect of silane treatment on processing characteristic and swelling behavior of recycled acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBRr)/polypropylene (PP)/rice husk powder (RHP) composites has been studied. Polypropylene/recycled acrylonitrile butadiene rubber/rice husk powder (PP/NBRr/RHP) composite were prepared by melt mixing technique at 180º C for 9 minutes and 50rpm rotor speed using an internal mixer. Five different composites compositions (70/30/0, 7030/5, 70/30/10, 70/30/15 and 70/30/30), with silane treated RHP (treated) and without silane treatment RHP (untreated) was studied. The specimens were analyzed for swelling behavior with ASTM oil No.3 and processing torque of composites was obtained during composite preparation. The results showed that swelling percentage for both composites increased with NBRr content. However the treated composites exhibited lower swelling characteristics. Processing torque of both composites also showed higher torque reading with increasing NBRr content. However the treated composite with silane exhibited much higher torque value for similar composition composites. Better interaction between RHP filler and PP/NBRr matrixs was obtained with treated composites.

In view of the processing characteristic of large equipment, The CNC system of the fine milling machine tool for the large double-sided of aluminum ingot is designed, the hardware of the system is introduced, the software is illuminated mainly, the system is configured based on SCOUT, and the control programs of the manual and automatic processing are designed. Based on WINCC Flexible, the operating system which can meet the multi-interface easy to operate and live real-time monitoring is designed. As the result of the commissioning, the system is stable and reliable.

Grinding fluid has an important effect in processing work piece, so in view of the new grinding fluid, a large number of tests have been taken in the application of the power ultrasonic vibration honing. The massive experimental study, separated from the work piece’s surface roughness, the work piece’s surface rubbed deterioration layer and the influence to the processing characteristic with different density of the new grinding fluid and so on, discussed the adaptability of the new grinding fluid in power ultrasonic vibration honing processing. The research has been indicated that although the new grinding fluid does not surpass the traditional working fluid, such as emulsion and liquor, in cooling performance, it has a better lubricating property and has the obvious superiority in the working accuracy and the oilstone’s length of life. Therefore the new self-developed grinding fluid is suitable for the power ultrasonic honing processing.
