In view of the processing characteristic of large equipment, The CNC system of the fine milling machine tool for the large double-sided of aluminum ingot is designed, the hardware of the system is introduced, the software is illuminated mainly, the system is configured based on SCOUT, and the control programs of the manual and automatic processing are designed. Based on WINCC Flexible, the operating system which can meet the multi-interface easy to operate and live real-time monitoring is designed. As the result of the commissioning, the system is stable and reliable.

In this paper, a soft CNCS (Computerized Numerical Control System) works on Windows-XP operating system is presented. The comparison between soft CNC and traditional CNC system is discussed. The structure of soft CNC system is introduced as follow. The realizations of each real time module, such as real time path planning and interpolation, real time close-loop controller, real time safety detection, are introduced in detail. The real time tasks are based on a real time kernel. In the end, an application of the soft CNC system is realized on a 3-axis milling machine. The machining result shows it works well.

In this paper, in order to solve the problem of PC-based CNC system, such as instability high cost, large volume so and on , an embedded motion controller based on S3C2440 system bus is designed by using S3C2440 microprocessor and PCL6045B special DSP chip. Hardware interface circuit and address mapping between ARM and PCL6045B are introduced in detail, and some interface functions of the motion controller base on multi-tasking Linux operating system is designed. At last, the driver development and driver debugging of PCL6045B motion control chip under Linux are focused on. The result indicates that this controller can not only improve the real-time performance and reliability of system under the support of Linux, but also reduce the cost greatly.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are a growing research area as a large of number portable devices are being developed. This fact makes operating systems (OS) useful to homogenize the development of these devices, to reduce design times, and to provide tools for developing complex applications. This work presents an operating system scheduler for resource-constraint wireless devices, which adapts the tasks scheduling in changing environments. The proposed adaptive scheduler allows dynamically delaying the execution of low priority tasks while maintaining real-time capabilities on high priority ones. Therefore, the scheduler is useful in nodes with rechargeable batteries, as it reduces its energy consumption when battery level is low, by delaying the least critical tasks. The adaptive scheduler has been implemented and tested in real nodes, and the results show that the nodes lifetime could be increased up to 70% in some scenarios at the expense of increasing latency of low priority tasks.
