The deployment of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) has raised security concerns among the network administrators. Thus, in strengthening the network security, administrator requires an appropriate method to assess the possible risks that occur in their networks. Aware of the needs to calculate risk in IPv6 network, it is essential to an organization to have an equation that is flexible and consider the requirements of the network. However, the existing risk assessment equations do not consider the requirement of the network. Therefore, this paper presents the adaptation of grounded theory to search for elements that are needed to develop IPv6 risk assessment (IRA6) equation. The attack scenarios’ experiments; UDP Flooding, TCP Flooding and Multicast attacks were carried out in different network environment to show how the IPv6 risk assessment equation being used. The result shows that the IRA6 equation is more flexible to be used regardless the network sizes and easier to calculate the risk value compared to the existing risk assessment equations. Hence, network administrators can have a proper decision making and strategic planning for a robust network security.


The article determines a significant importance of knowledge management as a key technology for the development of an enterprise in an innovative knowledge-based economy. The main features of the enterprise development as an open dynamic system are systematized and characteristics of the knowledge economy and innovative economy are determined. Following the above characteristics it is proved that the formation of an innovative economy is impossible without new knowledge and its commercialization, and the basis of the knowledge economy are innovations in various fields of activity. The given types of economies should be further considered not as separate concepts, but as integral components of the innovative knowledge-based economy. The theoretical approaches to the definition of the essence of knowledge management at the enterprise are systematized and their interrelation with the innovation process and innovative development is shown through the creation of new knowledge, increasing the efficiency of innovation development and the formation of innovative abilities of the innovatively active employees. The goals, tasks, functions, principles, stages, methods and methods of knowledge management in innovative knowledge-based economy are considered. The typology of contradictions in the innovative activity of the enterprise is given; the essence of economic, information, technological, organizational, psychological, structural and social contradictions is revealed. Technologies of knowledge management that contribute to eliminating contradictions and innovative development of the enterprise are defined. It is substantiated that different types of contradictions in the innovative activity of an enterprise can be eliminated by means of knowledge management technologies, which, as a result, causes qualitative changes at the enterprise. As the key signs of development are qualitative changes and elimination of contradictions, the use of knowledge management in the conditions of an innovative knowledge-based economy will contribute to the development of the enterprise.

The purpose of the study was to model the financial management processes of enterprises to ensure the qualitative and complete forecasting of enterprise development. The analysis of the strategic matrix of interconnections through the use of power, logarithmic and polynomial trends during the determination of the tightness of the connection between the financial resources’ volumes and the coefficients of liquidity and financial sustainability at the enterprise was carried out. It is established that effective organization of scenario activity as an element of strategic planning is one of the main factors that will allow improving the system of financial management at the enterprise.

The article further develops the system of early warning and response to crisis situations in the local community through the consideration of risks. At the same time, the list of external and internal risks for ensuring effective anti-crisis management at the enterprises of territorial communities is defined. The methods of prevention of internal risks of occurrence of financial crisis at participants of territorial community are offered. In this context, it is justified that the system of early warning and response to crises in the local community will include methods to prevent the risks of financial crisis in the members of the local community. The article presents theoretical aspects of taking into account the risk of investing funds of members of the territorial community in the enterprise, which is in danger of crisis, actualizes the assessment and analysis of the implementation of a new direction of enterprise development, which requires additional financial resources in adverse (crisis). In the study, effective methods of preventing external risks in members of the local community are substantiated. It is established that the external risks that affect the management of crisis phenomena in the territorial community will include: a) economic; b) political; c) social. It is established that diversification is reflected as an influential factor in crisis management. It is substantiated that effective regulation of external risks affecting the management of crisis phenomena includes government regulation. According to the authors, the study of the theoretical foundations for building a risk assessment system to ensure effective crisis management in the enterprises of territorial communities will ensure the effective functioning of various participants in territorial communities.

The paper proposes a scientific approach to determining the need to develop a strategy for innovative development of the enterprise. Effective management of innovative activity of the enterprise is impossible without understanding the essence, methodology and principles of strategic management of innovative development of the enterprise. This necessitates the study of basic principles, approaches, the correct understanding of which contributes to the effective strategic management of the enterprise, coordination of its efforts to achieve high rates of innovative development. It is noted that the development of innovation in the enterprise is impossible without the developed innovation strategy, which is an important component of the overall strategy of enterprise development. In view of this, there is the need to develop a strategy for innovative development of the enterprise which will significantly increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and the ability to enter new spaces.
