The needs of the community for freight forwarding are now starting to increase with the marketplace. User opinion about freight forwarding services is currently carried out by the public through many things one of them is social media Twitter. By sentiment analysis, the tendency of an opinion will be able to be seen whether it has a positive or negative tendency. The methods that can be applied to sentiment analysis are the Naive Bayes Algorithm and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This research will implement the two algorithms that are optimized using the PSO algorithms in sentiment analysis. Testing will be done by setting parameters on the PSO in each classifier algorithm. The results of the research that have been done can produce an increase in the accreditation of 15.11% on the optimization of the PSO-based Naive Bayes algorithm. Improved accuracy on the PSO-based SVM algorithm worth 1.74% in the sigmoid kernel.

Financial area analysis is not limited to enterprise performance analysis. It is worth analyzing as wide an area as possible to obtain the full impression of a specific enterprise. News website content is a datum source that expresses the public’s opinion on enterprise operations, status, etc. Therefore, it is worth analyzing the news portal article text. Sentiment analysis in English texts and financial area texts exist, and are accurate, the complexity of Lithuanian language is mostly concentrated on sentiment analysis of comment texts, and does not provide high accuracy. Therefore in this paper, the supervised machine learning model was implemented to assign sentiment analysis on financial context news, gathered from Lithuanian language websites. The analysis was made using three commonly used classification algorithms in the field of sentiment analysis. The hyperparameters optimization using the grid search was performed to discover the best parameters of each classifier. All experimental investigations were made using the newly collected datasets from four Lithuanian news websites. The results of the applied machine learning algorithms show that the highest accuracy is obtained using a non-balanced dataset, via the multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm (71.1%). The other algorithm accuracies were slightly lower: a long short-term memory (71%), and a support vector machine (70.4%).

This study aims to design a machine learning model of sentiment analysis on Indosat Ooredoo service reviews on social media twitter using the Naive Bayes algorithm as a classifier of positive and negative labels. This sentiment analysis uses machine learning to get patterns an model that can be used again to predict new data.

Sentiment Analysis is becoming the field of focus with time considering the user experience weighs much more for the business to grow and for the studies as well. The sentimental expressions refers to the emotions or feeling of a person across certain point of focus or issues. So, in this project, with the assistance of Apache Spark Framework, an open source data streaming and processing platform, sentiment evaluation is done on the tweets from Twitter by the means of real time processing as well as an Ad-hoc Run. Some preprocessing of the textual data has been done upon for better characteristics extraction thus resulting in greater accuracy. The validation of this has been done for achieving better result by comparing the other processes when Naive Bayes algorithm is used.

In this paper tweets available on social media about USD/INR exchange rate, BSE Sensex, NSE Nifty have been collected and Sentiment Analysis using R programming has been performed. A sentiment score has been obtained for each of the sentences and also word cloud plot have been obtained. In this paper twitter feeds are collected using the keywords: USD/INR, #USD/INR, #BSE, #Sensex, #NSE. For the purpose of obtaining the tweets, R programming is used. In this study to obtain the word cloud plot, the sentiment has been classified across 8 categories viz Anticipation, anger, trust, surprise, sadness, joy, fear and disgust. On a day to day basis, Sentiment Analysis gives the overall sentiment on a given day stating if the sentiment for a given day is either Positive or Negative or whether it is Neutral. It also breaks down the tweets into various categories which help in identifying the moods of the investors not only by the sentiment but also by the number of tweets. Further, the word cloud plot offers a simple and effective way of capturing the key events or news which was discussed on Twitter. Sentiment analysis can be used effectively by investors to make a prediction of what direction the stock price movements will happen based on the sentiment prevailing in the market. This study also shows how R programming can be used to perform sentiment analysis on the stock price movement based on twitter feeds. Word cloud can be used to visualize text data in which the size of each word cloud denotes its significance.


The World Wide Web has boosted its content for the past years, it has a vast amount of multimedia resources that continuously grow specifically in documentary data. One of the major contributors of documentary contents can be evidently found on the social media called Facebook. People or netizens on Facebook are actively sharing their opinion about a certain topic or posts that can be related to them or not. With the huge amount of accessible documentary data that are seen on the so-called social media, there are research trends that can be made by the researchers in the field of opinion mining. A netizen’s comment on a particular post can either be a negative or a positive one. This study will discuss the opinion or comment of a netizen whether it is positive or negative or how she/he feels about a specific topic posted on Facebook; this is can be measured by the use of Sentiment Analysis. The combination of the Natural Language Processing and the analytics in textual form is also known as Sentiment Analysis that is use to the extraction of data in a useful manner. This study will be based on the product reviews of Filipinos in Filipino, English and Taglish (mixed Filipino and English) languages. To categorize a comment effectively, the Naïve Bayes Algorithm was implemented to the developed web system.
