This paper is based on the phenomenon of Tittytainment and big data control. It discusses the ways in which working youths live and work in their large suburban communities in Beijing as well as their leisure and entertainment activities. Then develops a problem statement and research questions. In addition, the project explores this reality phenomenon dialectically through the analysis and speculation of the new virtual reality technology “Metaverse.” Based on a critical design approach, the phenomenon is explored through a detailed description and examination of reality, before critically suggesting the possibility of future social control by big data companies through the “metaverse” space. Furthermore, this paper alerts to the neoliberalism that dominates globalization through anti-utopian expressions, waking up young people who are compromised by big data control and addicted to Tittytainment.

The choice of the most effective stream processing framework (SPF) for Big Data has been an important issue among the researchers and practioners. Each of the SPFs has different cutting edge technologies in their steps of processing the data in motion that gives them a better advantage over the others. Even though, these technologies used in each SPF might better them, it is still difficult to conclude which framework berforms better under different scenarios and conditions. In this paper, we aim to show trends and differences about several SPFs for Big Data by using the so called Systematic Mapping (SM) approach using the related research outcomes. To achieve this objective, nine research questions (RQs) were raised, in which 91 studies that were conducted between 2010 and 2015 were evaluated. We present the trends by classifying the research on SPFs with respect to the proposed RQs which can direct researchers in getting an state-of-art overview of the field.

This paper describes the on-going development of a novel interface approach to understanding complex systems. We present a description of an interface, referred to as a Homunculus, which allows an experimenter to explore complex systems through immersive virtual reality technology. We describe an initial application under development where the Encephalon, a biologically motivated neural architecture, is used to control a robotics system. Encephalon modules are represented in the Homunculus as 3D icons. Information flow between modules of the neural network is represented as graphical animations. Virtual tools will be available to view, manipulate, model, diagnose, analyze, and navigate through the software and multi-dimensional data. We discuss many important research questions revealed by this work.

This research measured determinants that influence the willingness of IT/IA professionals to recommend Big Data analytics to improve information systems security in an organization. A review of the literature as well as the works of prior researchers provided the basis for formulation of research questions. Results of this study found that security effectiveness, organizational need, and reliability play a role in the decision to recommend big data analytics to improve information security. This research has implications for both consumers and providers of big data analytics services through the identification of factors that influence IT/IA professionals. These factors aim to improve information systems security, and therefore, which service offerings are likely to meet the needs of these professionals and their organizations.

The layout and roaming of machinery and equipment in the workshop is an important development direction of intelligent manufacturing. In this paper, the general process of developing an intelligent factory system are put forward. The 3D models of various kinds of mechanical equipment are established. The textures and maps of the model are processed. The virtual simulation engine is used to establish the workshop map. The roaming work of the virtual workshop is developed based on the map. The space layout of the mechanical equipment and the machine tool simulation cutting system are developed. Comparing with the traditional simulation software, this system takes shorter period of development and achieves better visualization. And combined with the virtual reality technology makes this system more creative.
