ABSTRACTThis study aims to obtain the information about the students perspectives of SMP Negeri against NOS (Nature of Science) in Pati regency. The subject of the study are 339 of 8th grade students from SMP Negeri 16 in Pati District. The instrument of data collection is a test description which consist of analysis based on seven aspects of NOS with 7 questions that have developed by researcher. The result shows the understanding of NOS in 8th grade junior high school students in Pati District classified as “poor” with score 39.12% in general. The implication of this research is the new knowledge that NOS aspect should be taught in schools explicitly so students can understand NOS well. Keywords: Nature of Science (NOS), perspective, students SMP Negeri in Pati regency.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai perspektif siswa SMP Negeri terhadap NOS (Nature of Science) di Kabupaten Pati. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 339 siswa kelas VIII dari 16 SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pati. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah tes uraian berupa analisis berdasarkan 7 aspek NOS berjumlah 7 soal yang telah dikembangkan peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perspektif NOS pada siswa SMP di Kabupaten Pati tergolong kurang yaitu hanya 39,12%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan tentang aspek NOS seharusnya diajarkan di sekolah-sekolah secara eksplisit sehingga siswa dapat memahami NOS dengan baik.Kata kunci: Nature of Science (NOS), perspektif, siswa SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Pati.

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION IN LEARNING FIQH AT THE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF 06 BANYUTENGAH, Essay: Faculty of Islamic Religious Education of Muhammadiyah Gresik University, 2016. The purpose of this thorough is the low interest in learning and lack of cooperation each other in the class so that make the state of the class is not condusive, to solve the problem doing this research to know the implementation of the Team Asssisted individualizataion process, the obstacles of that faced, and the effort will be undertaken for reach the purpose. This research was conducted at the Junior High school of Muhammadiyah 06 Banyutengah. The subject of the research is student in grade VIII the school years of 2016/2017 with the number of student 21. The data collected in the form of Observation result, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques used is perform data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this study obstacles encountered in the application of cooperative learning models of the Team Assisted Individualization is influential in the less maximal application of this model, however with thw effort of teachers, the learning process can run well in the line expectations.

Social science is a common subject given at every level of education. The Social Sciences junior high school curriculum is taught in an integrated manner to facilitate students' social science learning that is important in everyday life. Unfortunately, there are many obstacles encountered in social studies in practice, one of which is the lack of interest and enthusiasm of students in learning social studies. It makes students unable to grasp the importance of social studies. This research conduct on students and teachers of the Junior High School Laboratory State University of Malang. This study aims to analyze non-enthusiasm students in social classes learning. This research conduct using descriptive methods with survey research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation data collection tools in observation guidelines and interview guidelines. This study's informants were 17 students taken at each grade level and supported by three informants from social studies teachers who were selected purposes study indicates that UM Lab junior high school students' unenthusiastic behavior when learning social studies is reading comics, singing, drawing, chatting, and joking with friends. The factors that cause it are the amount of material and assignments in modules that must be memorized and memorized. Students are dizzy and confused. It has an impact on their understanding, which is less related to social studies material.

<p align='justify'>This article describes BAIF characteristics (physics textbook) to train science literacy ability through VGM representation of junior high school students. The aim of the research is how BAIF characteristics to train science literacy ability through VGM representation of junior high school students. The aim of research can be described as two problems. First, is BAIF consist of the example of application refer to science literacy ability? Second, how is the BAIF writing pattern for junior high school students? Type of this research is R & D (Research and Development). The research is started by collecting qualitative data, and then arranging draft of BAIF until to be BAIF which ready to validation. The subject of research is BAIF to train science literacy ability through VGM representation of junior high school students. The respondents of research are students of an 8th-grade junior high school in the even semester. The technique of collecting data is observation, questionnaire, test, and document. The result of the research shows that BAIF characteristics has been consisting the example of application to train science literacy ability through VGM, and has a pattern of writing order such as title, a title of sub topic, material feature, the example of exercise item, exercise item as competence test, and references. </p>

The aim of this study was to develop listening media for Grade VII of Junior High School Students. This study was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D) design through six stages; gathering information and data, analyzing data, designing materials, validating by experts, revising, and final product. The subject of the study was Grade VII of SMP Negeri 7 Medan. The data were gathered by conducting interview to English teacher and distributing questionnaire to 1 class grade VII consists of 30 person to get the students’ needs. The interview and questionnaire results prove that the students needs English Listening Media which can motivate and encourage the students to speak actively in English. The product has been validated by experts. The result of the product was an E-learning media named Moodle Cloud and all the features which was categorized  as an  relevant media since the validation score of the media was 93.55%.

Among the main causes of low learning achievement in mathematics learning is a delayed behavior to do tasks, commonly called academic procrastination. The objectives of this research are to describe and to explain the causal factors and consequences of academic procrastination in learning mathematics for junior high school students. This research was conducted for more than five months. The research took place at six junior high schools in Madiun Regency. The research approach was a qualitative descriptive. The types of data sources were six mathematics teachers and six students, in-class mathematics learning activities, and documents. The data collection techniques were (1) questionnaire, (2) documentation, (3) passive role observation, and (3) in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using an interactive model, which was implemented in two stages. They are at the time or during the course of data collection and after the data collection. The results of data analysis show that academic procrastination is caused by several factors. They are assumption that the tasks assigned are not important, too burdensome, and difficult to work, insufficient knowledge, too perfectionist, bad management of learning, lack of self-regulation, stress and fatigue, lack of social support, indiscipline teachers, and inconducive school culture. Academic procrastination, most importantly, leads to low learning achievement.

Since language as a communication tool, that’s why information structure is really important in language system and in the communication process. This research is aimed to find out the pattern of information structure in junior high school students, in one of junior high school in the private school in Semarang. The researcher focused on informal and conversations between student-student and teacher-student or student-teacher. The researcher got thirty six conversations of informal and formal conversations. This was a qualitative research and the researcher focused on Topic and Focus of each conversations, since topic and focus are important constructions in giving the information or constructing the sentence. As the result, in formal conversation, both of speakers (teacher or students) tended to eliminate the subject, or the TOPIC (47 %), while only 33 % of eliminating the predicate or the FOCUS, and the rest is only 20% showed that there was no any elimination in the conversations. Meanwhile, in the informal conversation, both of speakers (teacher or students) tended to eliminate the subject, or the TOPIC (60%), while only 27% of eliminating the predicate or the FOCUS, and the rest is only 13% showed that there was no any elimination in the conversations.

This study focuses on how the implementation of DL in teaching report writing for junior high school students based on 2013 curriculum. It has three research questions: (1)how is the implementation of DL in teaching report writing, (2) how are the students’ responses towards DL during the teaching learning of report writing, (3) how is the students’ writing report after taught by implementation of DL.This study used qualitative research. It focuses on natural setting, has an interest in meaning, the perspective emphasizes on a process, concern with an inductive analysis and grounded theory. The data collection techniques are observation and interview to anstablewer the first and second research questions, and documentation to answer first and third research questions.The result of this study reveals when teaching report writing, the teacher implements DL which is relevant and appropriate with the theories. He uses six steps, (1) stimulation (2) problem statement (3) data collection (4) data processing (5) verification (6) generalization. The students’ responses are positive in five steps, except data processing, the students’ response is negative, because of limited time. In all of the writing, the teacher gives his comments. It makes students pay attention to their result, and know their mistakes as motivational correction for them. All of students’ score isstill high of the standard score.
