Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of direct or indirect motivation, education and his training, organizational climate, competence and job satisfaction against his teacher's performance Coordinator of Private University in Central Java (Kopertis) Region VI Central Java. The results of research to prove that: (1) the influence of motivation on the competence of teachers was 32.6%, (2) the influence of training on basic competencies of 33.0%, (3) the influence of organizational climate on the competence of 26.9%. The amount of influence together 78.7%. 37.3% of organizational climate, the greatest effect on performance of lecturers. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung motivasi, pendidikan dan pe-latihan, iklim organisasi, kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja dosen Kopertis Wilayah VI Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa : (1) pengaruh motivasi terhadap kompetensi dosen sebesar 32,6%; (2) pengaruh diklat terhadap kompetensi dasar sebesar 33,0%; (3) pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap kompetensi sebesar 26,9%. Besarnya pengaruh secara bersama-sama atau sumbangan efektif (SE) = 78,7%, iklim organisasi 37,3%, paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja dosen.

This article offers a brief review of studies on organizational climate, employee motivation and job satisfaction. A relationship among organizational climate, employee motivation and job satisfaction has been reviewed in the paper. The paper consists of four sections beginning with a brief introduction of variables along with their dimensions. It is followed by exploring their interrelationship using previous studies. Conclusion and discussions, managerial implications and direction for future research have been given in the end.

This study investigated the impact of perceived organizational climate on managerial job satisfaction of 114 managerial personnel who completed a three-part questionnaire which solicited demographic information and the identification of and preferences for specific characteristics of organizational climate. The surveyed personnel had a strong preference for open as opposed to closed characteristics of organizational climate; to the degree they claimed to be familiar with the behavioral science theories of management there is an increasingly favorable disposition toward the theories; and among those Ss who perceived closed characteristics, there was a desire for a diminution of the impact of those characteristics.

Vocabulary mastery is a key aspect of foreign language leaning. Various methods can be used to improve vocabulary mastery. This present study was conducted to find out what strategies the learners of the Extensive Reading Course used in mastering the vocabulary in an English Language Education Program (ELEP) at a private university in Central Java, Indonesia, based on the Schmitt (2000) theory. The strategies discussed in this study are the determination, metacognitive, cognitive, memory and social strategy. In this study, a qualitative research design was applied to collect the data using questionnaire with open-ended questions. There were fifty-six participants of three Extensive Reading classes for this study. The result of the study showed that the determination strategy was the most preferable. Most of the participants used that strategy to enrich their vocabulary, while the social strategy was the least used. It was found that most of ER learners used determination strategies to mastery vocabulary.

Loyalty in an organization is an important element in supporting the success of human resources in achieving company goals. This study aims to analyze employee loyalty in Private Universities in Bengkulu City and the factors that influence it. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population of this study were all private university employees in the city of Bengkulu, amounting to 305 people, from a total population of 173 people with proportional ramdom sampling technique .The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of this study prove that (1) employee loyalty is still relatively low (2) there is a positive and significant direct influence of compensation, empowerment and job satisfaction variables on employee loyalty, (3) There is a positive and significant direct effect of compensation and empowerment variables on job satisfaction, (4) There is a positive and significant direct effect of compensation variables on empowerment. The research was conducted in IslamicPrivate Hospital Malang and include 140 peoples as respondents. Questionnaires used as an instrumentfor collecting data. The analyses method uses Rank scale and product moment correlation. Theresults of research show that the organizational commitment is in good conditions as well as organizationalclimate. Whereas, the conditions of employee’ job satisfaction is in the high level satisfied. Basedon the product moment show that the relationship between both organizational commitment and climateto the employee’ job satisfaction are in the strong level. It means that all employees in Islamic PrivateHospital are having strong organizational commitment and feeling satisfaction when they are working.It is also the organizational climate, it supports to make employee enjoy their working.Keywords: organizational commitment and organizational climate, employee’ job satisfaction, IslamicPrivate Hospital Malang.

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of work ethics on performance using job satisfaction and affective commitment as mediating variables. The variables used include the dimensions of multidimensional work ethic profile (independent variable), job satisfaction and affective commitment (mediating variables), and performance (dependent variable). The survey research design was applied to meet the objective of this study, with 400 questionnaires had been sent to the lecturers in Central Java. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was adopted to test some hypotheses developed in this study. The findings, based on the response rate of 76% (304 of the 400) of the questionnaires successfully collected and ready for analysis, are that not all dimensions of multidimensional work ethic profile directly influence the task performance, of the dimensions of  multidimensional work ethic profile, only the dimension of hard work directly and significantly influence the task performance, job satisfaction mediates some of the dimensions of multidimensional work ethic profile on the task performance, and affective<br />commitment do not mediate the influence of all dimensions of multidimensional work ethic profile on the task performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and motivation on the lecturer performance at private universities in Makassar. The research conducted on the lecturer of faculty of economics at three private universities in Makassar South Sulawesi by using mail survey and sending 150 questionnaires to the respondents. Sampling technique used in this study is random sampling. Data were collected at 101 and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis result showed that job satisfaction gives positive impact and significant on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar, and motivation gives positive impact and significant on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar. The results of multiple regression analysis showed motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously have positive and significant impact on the performance of private university lecturers in Makassar.
