In the world of Digital Innovation “Cloud Computing” is not just a word or a technology but a paramount to the organizations now days. Because it is not easy to store, compute the data on an internet and central remote server to manage a huge bulk of data and information. It is well known that cloud computing provides data, storage of data, computation of data to the end user also by providing the services to the end users by the different applications. So, now the Fog Computing Is generally a concept to extend the cloud computing technology as it also does the same function which cloud computing functionality as well. It is not the replacement but the enhanced version of cloud which provides a security on the cloud environment by isolating user’s data which is saved on the Edge Devices. Fog Computing enables a user to save their data to nearby devices. In this paper the security issues also the technology which is used for security in this enhanced concept of cloud is mentioned.

In recent years, cloud computing has developed from the promising business concept that it used to be, to one of Information Technology (IT) industry's most developing section. Now that the world economy was hit by recession, the victims of this tragedy continually understand that by just outsourcing or tapping the cloud  resources, a package of virtualise, elastic, instant on-demand provision, and scalable; infrastructure, platform, and software can be access fast and easy inform of services at a negligible amount via the internet. However, as individuals and organizations embarked on the course of deploying their information and data into the cloud, anxieties are beginning to develop on whether the cloud environment is safe. This research provides an overview of the cloud deployment model, the services they offer and discusses the security issues and challenges of cloud computing in both data storage and virtual applications/servers.

As information and processes are migrating to the cloud, Cloud Computing is drastically changing IT professionals’ working environment. Cloud Computing solves many problems of conventional computing. However, the new technology has also created new challenges such as data security, data ownership and trans-code data storage. We discussed about Cloud computing security issues, mechanism, challenges that Cloud service providers and consumers face during Cloud engineering. Based on concerning of security issues and challenges, we proposed several encryption algorithms to make cloud data secure and invulnerable. We made comparisons among DES, AES, RSA and ECC algorithms to find combinatorial optimization solutions, which fit Cloud environment well for making cloud data secure and not to be hacked by attackers.

This paper is documenting the potential of Fog Computing in Education. First, this study explores the difference between cloud computing and Fog Computing. Then the features of computing explained briefly. A tremendous increase in Internet usage among the people does not allow the sustainability to continue depending on Cloud Computing as a centralized web server, due to the truth that Cloud Computing system allows access to internet data as well as therefore making it feasible for users to availability, share along with store information in remote servers. With Fog Computing, multiple users, gadgets such as automobiles, wearable gizmos, sensing units, wise gadgets, an organization can accept one another utilizing their very own Fog facilities. In the educational sector, Fog computing technology boosts educational operations and provides a platform with agility, versus slowing them down or quitting them. Fog computing is a modern technology that is set for high development in the future, as well as will substantially improve day-to-day procedures for many sectors, including education. Finally, security issues and challenges of implementation Fog computing discussed.

Cloud computing is an emerging computing paradigm that is rapidly gaining attention as an alternative to other traditional hosted application models. The cloud environment provides on-demand, elastic and scalable services, moreover, it can provide these services at lower costs. However, this new paradigm poses new security issues and threats because cloud service providers are not in the same trust domain of cloud customers. Furthermore, data owners cannot control the underlying cloud environment. Therefore, new security practices are required to guarantee the availability, integrity, privacy and confidentiality of the outsourced data. This paper highlights the main security challenges of the cloud storage service and introduces some solutions to address those challenges. The proposed solutions present a way to protect the data integrity, privacy and confidentiality by integrating data auditing and access control methods.


Wireless sensor networks and internet of things are widely used in healthcare industry. In today’s scenario wearable sensors become very popular devices to monitor patients at high risk. Patients who are suffering from long lasting sickness visits hospital at multiple time for their regular check-up. Treatment from this kind of system increases the expenditure in overall for the patients. However, with recent technological innovation such as cloud and fog computing, with minimal expense on storage and computing facilities these problems are overcome. In this paper, we provide an analysis of fog computing role over cloud computing to monitor patient’s health to provide context aware services without delay to the end user when it required to patient and medical practitioner. Three layer architecture is proposed for real time domain data storage, processing and communication. This increase the capability of cloud computing with the integration to fog computing for current and future use application.


The inventions in the field of Cloud computing with mobile devices, cloudlets, Edge computing are sizzling growth of IoT(Internet of Things) devices. The cloud computing technology has its limitation in various attributes such as bandwidth, latency, location awareness, resource constraints etc. In order to overcome these issues, the edge computing, which is known as manipulating the data at the edge of the network. In order to support various integrated features with IoT such as storage, networking, home energy management, augment reality fog computing provides resource access to the network edge of the user. In the user side it is confronted with serious security issues for data security. This article provides the augmentation and orchestration of security issues in fog computing. In this paper, first we check the architecture of fog computing. Then we suggest broad taxonomy of fog architecture with various architectures. Finally, this paper is concluded with scope and future research in fog computing

This article describes how fog computing empowers network resource utilization by providing services to low bandwidth users in cloud environment. Here, authentication mechanisms are used by fog nodes while providing services to end users. In cloud computing there are several types of authentication mechanisms, in which token based authentication takes less time for validating password. The proposed technique uses token based authentication mechanism with honey password. The aim of this article is to focus on multi-layer token based authentication for identifying the authorized user at fog node. In authentication phase end user instantaneously frame his user account password with honey password that makes illusion to shoulder surfers password has changed. The proposed mechanism avoids and detects shoulder surfing attacks, password guessing attacks, and application denial of service attacks.

This article describes how cloud computing has emerged as a strong competitor against traditional IT platforms by offering low-cost and “pay-as-you-go” computing potential and on-demand provisioning of services. Governments, as well as organizations, have migrated their entire or most of the IT infrastructure to the cloud. With the emergence of IoT devices and big data, the amount of data forwarded to the cloud has increased to a huge extent. Therefore, the paradigm of cloud computing is no longer sufficient. Furthermore, with the growth of demand for IoT solutions in organizations, it has become essential to process data quickly, substantially and on-site. Hence, Fog computing is introduced to overcome these drawbacks of cloud computing by bringing intelligence to the edge of the network using smart devices. One major security issue related to the cloud is the DDoS attack. This article discusses in detail about the DDoS attack, cloud computing, fog computing, how DDoS affect cloud environment and how fog computing can be used in a cloud environment to solve a variety of problems.

This article describes how nowadays, cloud computing is one of the advanced areas of Information Technology (IT) sector. Since there are many hackers and malicious users on the internet, it is very important to secure the confidentiality of data in the cloud environment. In recent years, access control has emerged as a challenging issue of cloud computing. Access control method allows data accessing of an authorized user. Existing access control schemes mainly focus on the confidentiality of the data storage. In this article, a novel access control scheme has been proposed for efficient data accessing. The proposed scheme allows reducing the searching cost and accessing time, while providing the data to the user. It also maintains the security of the user's confidential data.
