This article discusses about bullying. Bullying behavior need to be done through a multidimensional assessment and social intervention. This model has three components, namely the five traits of behavior definition bullying, four kinds of behavior bullying, the three main groups involved in the behavior ofbul lying. This paper presents a preventive program try against bullying behavior in schools a mentioned as Citizens'Responsibility p control rogram. This approach to reintegrate pupils who had blundered into the school community in order to become disciples who have durability, as well as being a member of the school community who obediently and cling to rules and values which apply into program interventions social thereby increasing their mental health.

Background: Depression is a leading cause of disease burden worldwide but is often undertreated in low- and middle-income countries. Reasons behind the treatment gap vary, but many highlight a lack of interventions which speak to the socio-economic and structural realties that are associated to mental health problems in many settings, including South Africa. The COURRAGE-PLUS intervention responds to this gap, by combining a collective narrative therapy (9 weeks) intervention, with a social intervention promoting group-led practical action against structural determinants of poor mental health (4 weeks), for a total of 13 sessions. The overall aim is to promote mental health, while empowering communities to acknowledge, and respond in locally meaningful ways to social adversity linked to development of mental distress. Aim: To pilot and evaluate the effectiveness of a complex intervention – COURRAGE-PLUS on symptoms of depression as assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) among a sample of women facing contexts of adversity in Gauteng, South Africa. Methods: PHQ-9 scores were assessed at baseline, post collective narrative therapy (midline), and post social intervention (endline). Median scores and corresponding interquartile ranges were computed for all time points. Differences in scores between time points were tested with a non-parametric Friedman test. The impact across symptom severities was compared descriptively to identify potential differences in impact across categories of symptom severity within our sample. Results: Participants’ ( n = 47) median depression score at baseline was 11 (IQR = 7) and reduced to 4 at midline (IQR = 7) to 0 at endline (IQR = 2.5). The Friedman test showed a statistically significant difference between depression scores across time points, [Formula: see text](2) = 49.29, p < .001. Median depression scores were reduced to 0 or 1 Post-Intervention across all four severity groups. Conclusions: COURRAGE-PLUS was highly effective at reducing symptoms of depression across the spectrum of severities in this sample of women facing adversity, in Gauteng, South Africa. Findings supports the need for larger trials to investigate collective narrative storytelling and social interventions as community-based interventions for populations experiencing adversity and mental distress.

The following study sought to examine the social impact of a social enterprise mental health services model by assessing its impact on service accessibility and mental health stigma. A novel approach to case study – a mixed methods design was developed by collecting data from service users, counsellors, and community members of a social enterprise in Toronto, Ontario, using qualitative interviews and the Mental Health Knowledge Schedule (MAKS) survey. Findings show how the social enterprise increases service access and challenges mental health stigma by engaging in a variety of activities, including providing low--cost counselling, diversifying services, offering a positive and safe non--clinical environment, and engaging with the public directly by utilizing a storefront model. As a result of data triangulation analysis, common themes and discrepancies between respondent groups are identified and discussed. No significant relationships were found between mental health stigma and community member demographic characteristics. Insights on replication of this social impact assessment model are discussed.

It is impossible to predict or comprehend the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The UK Government's advice for vulnerable people, including older adults, to move towards self-isolation and social distancing is likely to reduce rates of transmission, the risk of severe illness and the impact on the acute health services. Although justified and necessary, this process of isolation is likely to have a negative impact on the mental health of these vulnerable groups, especially older people. It will become increasingly important for community health professionals to assess subtle changes in older persons' mental health, as the duration of this period of isolation remains unclear. The biopsychopharmacosocial model provides one method of assessing mental health and planning health and social care needs. This article hopes to guide community health professionals through the specifics of this assessment model in relation to the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

The voice of teachers and managers captured via a focus group was contrasted with the theoretical framework of human training, generating an instrument containing indicators arranged in a Likert-type scale, which was answered by 846 municipal teachers. The statistically processed data showed schools that work towards social quality without losing their identity in the different dimensions. This study is intended to be used as a way to collaborate with the advances in the field of educational measures in order to prevent the reductionism of the uni/bidimensional indexes. Such advances do not disregard institutional participatory evaluation, which is seen as a strategic instance that enables the school to address its practices and deliberate about the new challenges in the fight for social quality.

Keywords: Educational Indicators; Social Quality; Large- Scale Multidimensional Assessment; Participatory Institutional Assessment.

Practitioners encounter more elderly clients and their families as the service demands of our aging society continue to grow. This article seeks to increase gerontological knowledge among students and practitioners by providing an outline for the multidimensional assessment of the elderly client. Seven domains of assessment are reviewed: physical health, mental health, social support, physical environments, functioning, coping styles, and formal service usage. Discussion includes topics to be covered in each dimension, helpful assessment instruments, particularly relevant interviewing skills, and use of allied professionals.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to describe the development process of building an assessment model to assess the emotional and behavioural needs of “looked after children”. Design/methodology/approach – The paper is a technical paper developing and evaluating a process for comprehensively assessing children ' s needs using a combination of three existing tools. Findings – The paper identifies a model to assess “looked after” children and highlights some of the early benefits and challenges which have been encountered using this model. Practical implications – This paper suggests a model and timeframe to ensure that detailed assessments of the mental health of “looked after” children are effectively carried out. Social implications – There is a potential for an improvement in assessment of looked after children that will lead to the identification of appropriate interventions and services. Originality/value – The paper is new in identifying a combination of assessment measures and a timeline to complete these.

College students are under increasing competition pressure, which has a negative impact on their mental health, as the pace of learning and life accelerates, as well as the increasingly difficult employment situation. As a result, emphasizing the importance of college students’ mental health and fully addressing it has become a top priority in the work of colleges and universities. However, some students and even teachers are currently unconcerned about mental illness, making it difficult for students with psychological abnormalities to receive timely detection and effective treatment. As a result, it is the responsibility of student management for colleges and universities to identify and intervene early in the mental health problems of college students. Through the use of multimodal data and neural network models, it is now possible to evaluate and predict the mental state of college students in real time, thanks to the advancement of intelligent technology. Therefore, a novel multimodal neural network model is proposed in this paper. Our model is divided into two branches in particular. The traditional mental health assessment and prediction algorithm, which is based on the improved BP neural network and the International Mental Health Scale SCL-90, is one of the branches. Given how difficult it is to meet the requirements for the accuracy of college students’ mental health assessments using this method, our other branch is computer vision-based facial emotion recognition of college students, which is used to aid in the evaluation of mental health assessments. Our model demonstrates competitive performance through simulation and comparative experiments.
