Based on the cultural self-confidence of the packaging design curriculum ideological and political teaching reform research, by embedding cultural projects into the packaging design curriculum, with cultural creative packaging design as the core curriculum content, the packaging design curriculum ideological and political teaching reform practice research is carried out, the purpose is to let the visual Communication design students can not only acquire due professional knowledge in packaging design class, but also cultivate students' love for Chinese traditional culture, enhance cultural self-confidence, and promote the development of Chinese cultural packaging design industry. This course runs through cultural projects, and is divided into three parts: "Packaging Design Research and Positioning", "Packaging Structure Design", and "Packaging Visual Design", which mainly incorporates "Chinese Traditional Packaging", "Chinese Traditional Characters", and "Packaging Design". Ideological and political content of courses such as "Chinese Traditional Pattern" and "Modern Design of Traditional Brand Packaging". At the same time, innovative teaching ideas and teaching methods have been incorporated in the course of curriculum ideological and political reform practice.

Tang poetry has great poetic and aesthetic value. Based on the theories of cultural self-confidence and selective adaptation, the necessity and rationality of the English translation of Tang poetry will be discussed under the guidance of "Harmony-guided Three-level Criteria of Poetry Translation", and comparative analyses of five English versions of Li Bai’s “Changgan Xing” will be made. The study holds that "Harmony-guided Three-level Criteria of Poetry Translation" not only embodies cultural self-confidence, but also conforms to the spiritual essence of the theory of selective adaptation. It can effectively disseminate Chinese poetry and improve the soft power of Chinese culture.

Abstract: Taking the teaching of <novel research in the new era> as an example, this paper discusses the teaching problems of Chinese contemporary literature classics in the context of cultural self-confidence in the new era. In the course of teaching, we try to penetrate cultural factors into the analysis of literary works. This kind of classroom teaching method, from the human love of literature to the philosophical level of literature, and then to the aesthetic level of literature, goes deep layer by layer. In this way, cultural education has been brought into the scope of classroom teaching, which is of great significance to cultivate the cultural self-confidence of college students.
