Recently, the pedagogy in pedagogy has become more and more widespread interactive methods of schi form teaching. This is explained by the need to increase the cognitive activity of students, as well as to stimulate interest in the subjects studied. A positive feature of the interactive teaching method is its use over all stages of the lesson.

English has been a subject in the university classroom since the 1980s. This subject helps produce more excellent talents in economics, politics, and culture who are proficient in English language in China, and enable our country to better integrate with the global economy. At the same time, the relationship between our country and the international community has become closer. However, the social environment is constantly developing and changing. The traditional teaching methods can be said to be ineffective and associated with many shortcomings. Traditional teaching methods were used in the English lessons. Under this teaching mode, students were the passive subjects on the receiving end of what have been taught. The teacher was always talking in the classroom and the students were listening. This teaching style also affects the effectiveness of learning. Compared with traditional teaching, interactive teaching method has its unique advantages. It is a new teaching mode and under this teaching mode, students can actively communicate with teachers in the classroom to complete learning tasks. The initiative to perform self-directed learning is also greatly improved, and the students’ English proficiency can be improved.

Background & objectives: Traditional teaching is passive and also lacks feedback to the students. Active learning methods have gained importance in medical education. Team Based Learning (TBL) promotes active learning among the students, with limited faculty. The objectives of the study were to compare TBL with Traditional teaching method and obtain feedback regarding TBL sessions from the students. Materials and Methods: Fifth semester students were divided into two groups- Students in A group were included in the TBL session, and those in B group in the traditional tutorial group. An assessment was conducted for both the groups at the end. Feedback was also taken from the students participating in TBL. Results: Mean score for TBL group was signicantly high compared to the traditional tutorial group. Most students opined that TBL promoted active participation and cooperative learning in the students. Many students felt that the session was stressful. Interpretation & Conclusions: TBL is an active and effective interactive teaching-learning method, which encourages students to work cooperatively.

As people pay more and more attention to the major of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), social demand for TCM talents also becomes larger and larger. But, the content of TCM acupuncture major is abstract, with high practical operation. Traditional acupuncture course is taught with “cramming” method so that students cannot understand and grasp the concrete knowledge of this major. This may even have negative impacts on some students. The interactions between the teacher and students are few, and students passively absorb teaching content. The positive feedbacks of teaching cannot be gained, either, thus affecting the teaching effect to certain degree. On this basis, an interactive teaching mode based on educational games was proposed in this study, and such interactive teaching mode based on educational games was applied in the courses of acupuncture major. Firstly, the current situations and features of educational games and interactive education mode were analyzed. Besides, acupuncture major was taken for example to introduce a series of teaching module development processes of educational games for resource module collation, project courseware management, target test questions, task allocation, courseware making and one-key release of acupuncture courses. It is found through the survey that, students more accept such interactive teaching mode based on educational games, and their learning efficiency improves. Such teaching method is obviously superior to traditional teaching methods.

With the increasing importance of English in current society, it’s an urgent task for college English teachers to conduct research on ways of improving college English teaching and learning. In this study, an effective teaching mode---Multi-dimensional interaction mode is trying to be constructed based on the theory of constructivism, communicative language teaching method and interactive teaching mode, in the meantime, the application and practice of this mode is analyzed, and characteristics and effects of this mode are also discussed.
