The environmental imperative in education has given rise to a number of approaches and models, including the model of inclusive education, which requires the unification of students with different educational needs and capabilities within one educational system. The heuristic potential of such studies is significant, although very little understood. The ecological approach to understanding inclusiveness has significant practical significance and value: the ecological imperative helps to identify and implement the most effective and productive ways of transforming existing problems, without sacrificing either the tasks of development and movement forward, or the tasks of preserving the existing ones. At each stage of education inclusion as an ecological imperative presupposes certain accents. In preschool education, inclusion is the creation of an environment in which children can become aware of the differences between each other, related to their individual characteristics. In school education, children and adolescents can realize and feel the differences in the forms and strategies for building interactions and relationships between people, as well as the existence of different strategies, forms and types of learning activity and learning relationships. In university education, young individual can sense the differences that exist in the forms and relationships of professional and career activity.

Indonesia’s education sector has been experiencing development, but the inclusive segment needs more support since the number of disabled students are rising while the readiness of schools to nurture them seems underperformed. The main problem is the discrepancy between school educators’ competence and the special needs of students. In the west, it is common for school to have a collaborative consultation to overcome such problem. It interconnects collaborators in an equal position to reciprocally develop the best solution for existing problems. This paper aims to promote the term for education stakeholders in Indonesia.

Early intervention and inclusive education for children with disabilities in preschools is a model being implemented in Vietnam to implement the policy of inclusive education. However, this model is mainly implemented in big cities, so there are still many limitations and shortcomings. The paper addresses the current situation and solutions to develop early intervention and inclusive education models in preschools in Vietnam in order to solve existing problems and meet social needs to create opportunities for children with disabilities to learn and integrate in the community.

The era of atomic-resolution electron microscopy has finally arrived. In virtually all inorganic materials, including oxides, metals, semiconductors and ceramics, it is possible to image individual atomic columns in low-index zone-axis projections. A whole host of important materials’ problems involving defects and departures from nonstoichiometry on the atomic scale are waiting to be tackled by the new generation of intermediate voltage (300-400keV) electron microscopes. In this review, some existing problems and limitations associated with imaging inorganic materials are briefly discussed. The more immediate problems encountered with organic and biological materials are considered elsewhere.Microscope resolution. It is less than a decade since the state-of-the-art, commercially available TEM was a 200kV instrument with a spherical aberration coefficient of 1.2mm, and an interpretable resolution limit (ie. first zero crossover of the contrast transfer function) of 2.5A.

Innovators of in vitro meat (IVM) are convinced that this approach is the solution for problems related to current meat production and consumption, especially regarding animal welfare and environmental issues. However, the production conditions have yet to be fully clarified and there is still a lack of ethical discourses and critical debates on IVM. In consequence, discussion about the ethical justifiability and desirability of IVM remains hypothetical and we have to question those promises. This paper addresses the complex ethical aspects associated with IVM and the questions of whether, and under what conditions, the production of IVM represents an ethically justifiable solution for existing problems, especially in view of animal welfare, the environment, and society. There are particular hopes regarding the benefits that IVM could bring to animal welfare and the environment, but there are also strong doubts about their ethical benefits.

Zusammenfassung. Bildungsteilhabe und Partizipation gelten mittlerweile als Kernbegriffe der aktuellen bildungspolitischen Diskussion um Inklusion. Dabei meint Partizipation explizit die Möglichkeit für Kinder, aktiv an der Gestaltung ihrer Lebens- und Lernerfahrungen teilzuhaben ( Prengel, 2016 ). Der vorliegende Beitrag knüpft an dieses Konzept an und stellt Ergebnisse einer Fallstudie vor, die sich insbesondere mit der Sicht der Kinder zum Thema Partizipation und Wohlbefinden in der Kindertageseinrichtung beschäftigt. Im Rahmen des von der Europäischen Union geförderten Projektes „ISOTIS – Inclusive Education and Social Support to Tackle Inequality in Society“ wurden zehn Kinder im Alter von vier bis sechs Jahren aus einer Berliner Kindertageseinrichtung mit einem hohen Anteil an Familien mit Migrationshintergrund über Fokusgruppen und malbegleitete Gespräche dazu befragt, wie sie mit Verschiedenheit umgehen und welche Ansprüche sie selbst an eine gute Kindertagesbetreuung haben. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, welch eine bedeutende Rolle Partizipation für das Wohlbefinden der Kinder zu haben scheint. Frei zugängliche Spielmöglichkeiten und Materialien für die kreative Gestaltung, Mitbestimmung in der Gestaltung und Nutzung von Räumen sowie ein Tagesablauf, der weitestgehend individuelle Gestaltung zulässt, sind Aspekte, welche die Kinder als für sie bedeutsam beschreiben.
