scholarly journals The Promises of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Technology for Architecture and Interaction Design

Blockchain technology is gaining prominence after its first famous implementation as part of the digital currency Bitcoin. It is made up of a series of blocks (the ledger) that give a secure, unchangeable, and auditable list of records. Once a block is recorded using encryption and a distributed database, it cannot be modified. The ledger in the case of Bitcoin stores the history of all monetary transactions. In three sections, this paper provides a review of blockchain technology for an interface design audience: (1) The fundamentals that enable block-chain technology are briefly discussed. (2) Specific examples include the use of HCI in blockchain research and development. (3) In the form of a fledgling research agenda, opportunities and difficulties for HCI and interface design are presented.

This chapter explores how educational technology can be developed according to indigenous learning approaches of the South Pacific. It is based on an expansive research and development project conducted 2003-2004 at The University of the South Pacific (USP). After an introduction to several aspects of indigenous South Pacific learning approaches and their usage in the formal learning sector, I make several recommendations for instructional technology design based on these principles, illustrated with examples of educational technology projects that apply these recommendations. Specifically, we follow educational multimedia efforts at USP that enable learning in wholes, encourage observation and imitation and utilize vernacular metaphors and languages. This includes recommendations for interface design, interaction design and decentralized content localization.

In this article are discussed the most perspective cryptocurrency and blockchain projects that China is investing in. After the regulations regarding cryptocurrencies that is put forth by China, the Chinese government decided to create several financial bodies to regulate and develop the cryptocurrency. Despite the strict regulation of cryptocurrencies, China has been significantly investing in blockchain projects. China has developed the Digital Currency Research Institute (DCRI) of the People’s Bank of China — a research body under the aegis of PBOC that focuses on the research and development of digital currencies and blockchain-related technologies. China actively supports more than 40 platforms, mostly in such fields as AI, Deep Learning and Software. The Chinese government has shown a positive attitude towards blockchain technology. Blockchain and cryptocurrency come hand-in-hand (except a private chain where a token is unnecessary). In the nearest future, China plans to introduce a blockchain to the most different spheres. For this purpose, there will even double the volume of investment to 3 billion dollars, since the second quarter of 2018. “This technology can transform many spheres of our life. As soon as in the country pursue powerful technological policy, it is sure that even more companies will begin to work in the field of the blockchain” —the partner of the international consulting company PwC in Shanghai Chongg Chong Yin commented to journalists.

Subject. The article addresses the cryptocurrency market that originates from the creation of the world's first cryptocurrency, i.e. Bitcoin. It overviews the blockchain technology and mining procedures for the digital currency. Objectives. The purpose of the study is to evaluate trends in the cryptocurrency market within the historical aspects, perform a profound analysis of digital assets terminology, including the concept of forks, tokens and altcoins, investigate changes in the Bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrency market by analyzing the Bitcoin Dominance Index, which has suffered significant fluctuations over the past five years. Methods. The study rests on the systems analysis of conceptual framework, the design of classification criteria, the functional, structural, statistical, graphical, and economic analysis. Results. The findings enabled to identify growth drivers for world’s cryptocurrency trading platforms. The growth primarily relates to the progressive development of the cryptocurrency market infrastructure. Other factors include the extended usage of stablecoins on the world’s biggest crypto exchanges. Conclusions. The paper provides a detailed consideration of changes in the cryptocurrency market development, which are divided into three main stages. The cryptocurrency community appreciates blockchain projects that have introduced new technologies. The most popular projects are implemented in the banking sector or used in the interaction between the cryptocurrency industry and traditional fiat currencies.

Online ballot box system has the advantages of high efficiency and environmental protection, but the existing network voting technology still has a lot of matter, almost all electronic voting system could be proved to be intrusion. The administrator of the system could tamper with the data for benefit, and the system may be attacked by hackers. The safety and fairness of the existing network voting system depend entirely on the safety and credibility of the website itself, but these cannot guarantee the fairness of voting. Make full use of blockchain technology, so that voting, even if there are malicious participants, but also to ensure the correctness and safety of the vote. The introduction of block chain technology, block chain has decentralized, data tampering and other characteristics.P2P network is applied in the block chain layer to construct a distributed database, digital signature algorithm and encryption technology are used to ensure that the data cannot be tampered with, consensus network algorithm is used to ensure the consistency of the data in the network, and timestamp technology is applied to save the data blocks in a chain structure connected end to end. It paper focuses on the implementation of P2P network networking mode, node block synchronization, data and block verification mechanism and consensus mechanism to ensure data consistency in the network layer of block chain layer. Using time stamp, Merkle tree, asymmetric encryption and other technologies to design data blocks and use chain structure to store data blocks. Combined with the characteristics of blockchain, a fair, fair and transparent voting system is constructed. Model aims to apply the block chain technology to the voting scenario and design a secure block chain voting architecture. It system is designed and developed based on the block chain system. It makes full use of its decentralization, removes the dependence of electronic voting on trusted third parties, and protects the privacy of voters and candidates. Data cannot be tampered with. Once the data is stored in the block chain, it cannot be tampered with. It provides a real and credible database.

In this chapter we address how the landscape of mobile HCI is changing. With a point of departure taken in how mobile interaction design is nowadays not only about interface design for digital devices, but about the design of wide-ranging interaction landscapes we explore how mobile HCI are now heavily interwoven in complex arrangements of computational devices, platforms and services. In exploring these current developments, this chapter identifies three contemporary strands of developments related to 1) the formation of new interaction landscapes, 2) the long tail of interaction, and 3) digital materialities. With a point of departure taken in these three strands, this chapter presents a research agenda for moving forward followed by a discussion on the implications of this agenda for mobile HCI research.

Now a days, the people are attracting towards the digital currency due to demonetization, rapidly changing world, and global payment options etc. The industries are looking for such a technology which works in digital currency environments with the account of all the transactions. In this paper, we have discussed Blockchain technology, an evolving technology, which provides an assistance to the industries in digital currency environment with the record of each transaction. We have discuss the various types of blockchain with the core concept of hashing algorithm. We have discussed the application of blockchain in different industries and how it can make the significant impact on the business. The paper also focuses on the challenges of blockchain which are required to address before implementation. Therefore, this paper provides an insight on the blockchain technology with the fear and smile of beginning of new era of transparency.

Indonesia is the third largest democracy in the world. Election is a means for Indonesians to deliver votes to elect leaders and representatives of the people. Existing elections still use traditional methods. Watch the development of blockchain technology being the favorite in the world of research and development, blockchain will be designed based on e-voting for Indonesia. Based on the design created, the benefits of the blockchain can fulfill the principles in Indonesia which were introduced in Law No. 7 of 2017. The principles of the election include direct, public, free, confidential, honest and fair can be fulfilled with the nature of blockchain which consists of anonymity, autonomy, fairness, secrecy, and transparency. Other things that become the advantages of blockchain are distributed and auditable
