Quality education is regarded as an essential provider to the country’s economic advancement. This study aimed to design and develop a Program-Based Quality Assurance Model with Decision Support System for St. Paul University Philippines. The researcher created a model and developed a database management tool to assess the quality assurance mechanism employed by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) and Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) to ensure a reliable delivery of quality education on the program it provides. The study employed the Rapid Application Development Model for the software development and Quantitative method using descriptive survey was used to gather data. The problems, issues, and challenges in accreditation with respect to preparation, document and records management and reporting were utilized by the researcher for the development of the system. The developed system is a web-based application, thus, can be easily accessed. As a result, the system effectively stores and retrieved data needed for the preparation of documents and records for accreditation. Thus, the features of the developed system were accepted to be useful based on the results of the evaluation in accordance with the software compliance criteria of ISO 25010 Software Quality Standards with overall weighted mean of 4.12 12 with a descriptive interpretation of “Great Extent”. The developed system can be of great help to the Accreditation Team to monitor accomplishments of all programs along with the recommendations for proper documentation and record keeping.

Megasite Management Tool (MMT) is planning and evaluation software for contaminated sites. Using different statistical modules, MMT produces maps which help decision makers in rehabilitating contaminated sites. The input data used by MMT is of geographic nature and exists as shapefile and raster format. As MMT is built using simple windows forms application, the objective of the study was to find a way to visualize geographic data and to allow the user to edit its attribute information. Therefore, the application requirement was to find GIS libraries which offer capabilities such as (1) map viewer with navigation tools (2) library to read/write geographic data and (3) software which allows free distribution of the developed components. A research on these requirements led to the discovery of MapWindow ActiveX components which not only offered these capabilities but also provided free and open source licensing options for redistribution. Although considerable amount of reports and publications exist on MMT, the major contribution provided by MapWindow libraries have been under played. The current study emphasises upon the contribution and advantages MapWindow ActiveX provides for incorporating GIS functionality to an already existing application. Similar components for other languages have also been reviewed.

Insurance growth in Indonesia has recently experienced a pretty good increase, this is evidenced by the statistics of IKNB (Non-Bank Financial Industry) issued by the OJK (Financial Services Authority) in February 2020. In December 2018 the number of IKNB actors was 1260 and then increased every month until December 2019 IKNB actors totaled 1330. From these data IKNB actors experienced a pretty good increase, where insurance is included in the industry. With so many IKNB actors PT. SICO Andalan Utama, which is one of the companies engaged in the industry, is feeling the improvement. However, with this increase, insurance management, specifically claims management, is needed because caution is needed when deciding on a claim worthiness decision. So to overcome these problems this is what underlies the authors to propose the development of a Decision Support System for Insurance Claim Feasibility which will later be expected to avoid or at least reduce inaccuracies in determining the eligibility of a claim. This Decision System for Claims Feasibility Decision Support System was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development methodology as a path for developing the system. Whereas the DSS modeling uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model. And also uses several Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Modeling Nation (BPMN), and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) tools for analysis and design. In implementing the system the author uses PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a Database. The testing method uses White Box Testing, Black Box Testing and Usability Testing approaches. By implementing this system, it is expected to provide the right claim eligibility decisions.

In the modern world today the decision support system is very useful to help in solving a problem, so this study discusses the learning process of savings and loan cooperatives in Timor Leste. The purpose of the observation is that the people of Timor Leste are still in the process of learning the use DSS for good saving and loan cooperative process. Based on existing research on the Timor Leste community on credit cooperatives, a mobile application will be built that will help the cooperative learning process in East Timorese society. The methods used for decision making are AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and SAW (simple additive Weighting) method to see the result of each criterion and the weight of the value. The result of this research is mobile leaning cooperative in decision support system by using SAW and AHP method. Originality Value: Changed the two methods of mobile application development using AHP and SAW methods to help the decision support system process of a savings and credit cooperative in Timor Leste.

STMIK AKAKOM has 67 lecturers. In each semester, an evaluation is held to determine lecturers’ performance to maintain good institutional quality. The evaluation process is based on students’ and Department Quality-Assurance Team (DQAT) assessments.  Up until now, the results of these evaluations were left unprocessed. This study aimed to determine well-performed and less-performed lecturers by combining evaluation results from students and DQAT using the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. There are 17 criteria used in this study with different weight values. The results showed that the technique determined the lecturers’ ranking significantly based on their respective performance.  The most well-performed lecturer is L40 with Vi (order for lecturer) value of 0.95, the second is L41 with  Vi value of 0.92, and the third one is L25 with Vi of 0.91, while the most under-performed lecturer is L67 with a Vi value of 0.72.

Information support for making strategic decisions in groups of companies can be, on the one hand, very relevant due to the large number of parameters taken into account, on the other hand, it is quite productive due to the objective measurability of these parameters. Unlike traditional approaches to the economic analysis of an independent business entity, subsidiaries and dependent companies (SDCs) are also evaluated in terms of their impact on the parent company and the group of companies as a whole. Therefore, the authors of the study have formed a set of indicators that can be regrouped for various analytical and forecasting purposes, thereby creating and testing the author's methodology for assessing the activities of subsidiaries and affiliates.

Purpose Taking the discipline construction in colleges and universities as the application background, based on the research on data mining technology and decision support system technology, the data generated by university management information system are effectively utilized. The paper aims to discuss these issues. Design/methodology/approach Based on the Beijing Key Discipline Information Platform as the data source, the decision tree algorithm of data mining is studied. On the basis of decision tree C4.5, the Bayesian theory is applied to the post-pruning operation of the decision tree. Findings A decision tree post-pruning algorithm based on the Bayesian theory is studied and put forward in order to simplify the decision tree, which improves the generalization ability of the whole algorithm. Finally, the algorithm is used to build the prediction model of key disciplines. Combined with the decision support system architecture, data warehouse and the data mining algorithm constructed by university discipline, based on J2EE standard enterprise system specification, MVC model is applied. Moreover, a prototype system of decision support system for discipline construction in colleges and universities with browser/server (B/S) structure is completed and implemented.
