Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) remain global pandemics. The 2020 statistics released in 2021 showed that about 37.6 million people globally are living with HIV; 1.5 million people became newly infected in 2020 and 690,000 people died from AIDS related cases the same year. A literature search revealed that more than 1.6 million Nigerians have died of HIV/AIDS since the outbreak of the epidemic in 1985 while millions of Nigerians are living with HIV as of today. Certain factors have contributed to this alarming statistic. One of such is the unwillingness by most persons to undertake an HIV test due to the fear of stigmatization. A simple system that can be of help in evaluating a person’s risk of contracting HIV without stigmatization is developed in this work. The system takes into account some behavioural factors, signs and symptoms that suggest a person may be at risk of having or be prone to HIV and thus makes a prediction of the risk status based on the input supplied. A simple framework was developed with input from medical practitioners based on their wealth of experience. The input was used to derive twenty two (22) questions centered on behavioural factors, signs and symptoms which were designed to be answered by the users during interaction with the system. A simple evaluation takes place using the user’s inputs and a predefined set of rules to classify the risk value as one of (Very High, High, Moderate, Low and Not at Risk) with appropriate advice. The system was implemented in Visual Studio Environment using Visual Basic.Net. It is expected that after using the system, users will be encouraged to go for tests where it is recommended. However, it to be noted that this system does not confirm HIV status as only a blood test can do that

Quality education is regarded as an essential provider to the country’s economic advancement. This study aimed to design and develop a Program-Based Quality Assurance Model with Decision Support System for St. Paul University Philippines. The researcher created a model and developed a database management tool to assess the quality assurance mechanism employed by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) and Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) to ensure a reliable delivery of quality education on the program it provides. The study employed the Rapid Application Development Model for the software development and Quantitative method using descriptive survey was used to gather data. The problems, issues, and challenges in accreditation with respect to preparation, document and records management and reporting were utilized by the researcher for the development of the system. The developed system is a web-based application, thus, can be easily accessed. As a result, the system effectively stores and retrieved data needed for the preparation of documents and records for accreditation. Thus, the features of the developed system were accepted to be useful based on the results of the evaluation in accordance with the software compliance criteria of ISO 25010 Software Quality Standards with overall weighted mean of 4.12 12 with a descriptive interpretation of “Great Extent”. The developed system can be of great help to the Accreditation Team to monitor accomplishments of all programs along with the recommendations for proper documentation and record keeping.

A slew of motion detection methods have been proposed in recent years. The background includes some constraints such as changes in illumination, shadow, cluttered the background, scene change and speed of dance between hand gestures and body gestures are different. One of the most basic methods for background subtraction is temporal averaging. We looked at a new adaptive temporal averaging approach in this paper. To identify moving objects in video sequences, an adaptive temporal averaging technique is used. Depending upon the speed of the technique we proposed a Gaussian distribution technique. Gaussian distribution done background subtraction depending upon active pixels it differentiates whether it is a background or foreground. The background model's update rate has been modified to be adaptive and determined by pixel difference .Our aim is to improve the method's F-measure by making it more adaptable to various scene scenarios. The experiment results are shown and evaluated. The proposed method and the original method's quality parameters are compared

Electricity is one of the basic needs and it plays an important role in the community in the social and economic development. It is an essential part of our daily lives as well as electrical energy promotes economic well-being and make social life worthwhile. Most electric cooperative encounters difficulty in monitoring the power consumption in their vicinity due to limited number of field personnel. The researcher observed that there is a need for a study on the prediction ofelectric consumption for Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (NUVELCO) to establish the trend of future consumption. This study also serve basis in managerial decision making (DSS) such as; advisory to the staff for power line clearing, household inspection, and additional transformer, additional purchased of energy. This paper uses two methods, descriptive research and developmental research to analyzed present data. A Correlation Analysis and Linear Regression Analysis is used between temperature and power consumption, precipitation and electric consumption. This statistical tool is used for prediction for analyzing time series data. The researcher derived power consumption differential equation or models which can be used to determine the growth of the electrical energy consumption. Discriminant Analysis is used in Clustering and classification of a set of observations into subsets in mapping the municipalities of the possible rise and fall of power consumption.

By looking at what happens to the world today, we need to know that the issue of information security has become a common problem that is very important to note. Especially for organizations or companies that have a high level of risk to data and possible losses with loss of data. Many data breaches continue to occur due to accidental, deliberate and human factors that cause financial loss or company reputation. The approach towards improving behavior and culture is by applying awareness activitiesof how important data security information systems are in progress. This journal presents an approach to identifying factors related to human security by incorporating people into the design and implementation of information system security awareness. Theauthor presents six steps in progress that can be done in business activities and evaluate the author's approach to the business case study. The authors' findings suggest that an information-centered approach to information security awareness has the capacity to adapt to the time and resources required for its implementation in the business, and offers a positive contribution to reducing the risk of information security through awareness of the importance of that security
