The objective of this study is to measure whether there is a significant influence of self-regulated learning (based on the theory of Barry J Zimmerman and Timothy Cleary) on the English achievement of the students in the first grade of MA Al-Islam Joresan Mlarak Ponorogo in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research applies an ex-post facto design, which uses questionnaires and documentation as the data collection technique. The data were analyzed through a simple linear regression formula by using SPSS 23.00 for windows. The finding showsa significant influence on self-regulated learning on the students' English learning achievement. The value of the F-test proved it was higher than F-table. F-test 41.615 >F-table 3.19. The significance value was 0.000, which was lower than 0.05, and the equational regression model was Y=81.551 + 0.145X.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari self-regulated learning (berdasarkan teori Barry J Zimmerman and Timothy  Cleary) terhadap prestasi Bahasa Inggris siswa MA Al-Islam Joresan Mlarak Ponorogo Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.

The subjects in this research is students in the 6th and 7th semesters of the mathematics education study program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) with 32 samples taken randomly. The instrument in this research used data in the form of a questionnaire  given online via Google Form and the results of interviews. The data analysis technique in this study was to interpret the presents of each of the 7 indicators of learning motivation according to Uno and to conduct interviews with selected research subjects related to online learning. The result of this research is that the 6th and 7th semesters of mathematics education students of UNSIKA have a high motivation to learn by obtaining a percentage of 88%. This means that even in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of online learning, it does not affect the motivation of students of mathematics education study programs to study actively.   Keywords: Motivation to learn, Online Learning, Mathematics Education   Abstrak Pembelajaran daring saat ini tengah diberlakukan di Indonesia karena dampak dari Covid-19. The instrument used in this study is a closed questionnaire, where respondents just choose the answers that are already available. The results showed that the perception of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Unram towards the online learning process in the 2020/2021 academic year was categorized as good with a percentage of 79.13%. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of abilities after online learning are in good category with a percentage of 70.44%. Based on the results of the percentage scores for each indicator of the perception of the online learning process and the ability after online learning, there are several things that must be maintained and developed in online learning at the Unram Mathematics Education Study Program, namely 1). Lecturers always provide learning materials or materials. 2). The material provided by the lecturer is in the form of modules or textbooks. 3). The material presented online is in accordance with the lecture/RPS contract. 4). The online learning process is carried out using the Google Meet application. 5). Students find it easier to use the Google Meet application in the online learning process. 6). Students always do the assignments given by the lecturer. 7). Three hypotheseswere isolated to give direction to this investigation. 200 students from the two universities in the state constituted thesample drawn from a population of 1684 graduating education students. Data were generated using “Students’Teaching Readiness Questionnaire (S.T.R.Q.)”. Population t-test and Independent t-test statistical techniques wereused to analyze data collected. Results disclosed that teaching readiness of university education students issignificantly low in terms of possession of communication skills, interpersonal skills, ICT skills and entrepreneurialskills; gender influences teaching readiness of university education students in one hand and in the other, it does not;teaching readiness of university education students does not significantly differ on the basis of institution ofaffiliation. On the strength of these findings, implications for managing teacher education reforms were articulated.
