PurposeThis study aimed to investigate the level of adoption of digital marketing by cannabis vendors in the state of Colorado.Design/methodology/approachThe study surveyed a random sample of 30 cannabis vendors in the state of Colorado. The analysis of the vendors’ use of digital marketing methods was conducted using a rubric based on a modified 7C Framework.FindingsIn the state of Colorado, the cannabis industry is nascent and has made an initial investment in digital marketing. While most companies had deployed a website, these websites featured basic elements of digital marketing. Though limited, the industry has made initial attempts to engage customers in a socially responsible manner. The industry would also benefit from better age verification, educational programs and profit sharing.Originality/valueThe study furthers the application of 7C Framework used in evaluating e-commerce sites for cannabis marketing.

Entrepreneurs of culinary business must have employees so their business can run smoothly. Additionally, they must also have a business license, as part of their legal obedience. Some of their legal responsibilities include the payment of minimum salary for employees, stated in regulations. In a practical matter, the payment of minimum wages faces problems, especially for small and medium business enterprises. This minimum wages' research is undertaken based on laws which set about employment, determination of minimum wages by culinary businesses, and legal solutions that employees can do if they did not get minimum wages salary. This research also uses the interview to collect data. Some of the respondents being interviewed are someone who has better knowledge about these problems. The conclusions from this research that salary payment is a never-ending problems, the things that entrepreneur’s thought fair for them but it’s unfair or employees, like minimum wages payments. Employees who did not get minimum wages salary choose to not reporting that, and quit their jobs. Keywords: Culinary businesses, Salary, Minimum Wages, and Employees

<p>The paper features peculiarities of the development of small and medium business enterprises and their state support in the Kemerovo region. It presents some results of the research on the matter of the current development level of small and medium business in the Kemerovo region, including a structure analysis according to economic activities. The research includes an analysis of the state program "Development of Small and Medium Business in the Kemerovo Region for 2014–2019": its goals and objectives, structure and financing. The goal of the research is to identify the problems of small and medium business in the Kemerovo region. The<br />research reveals some intermediate results of the implementation of the state program: the current achievements coincide with the established objectives but with some limitations. The paper offers possible solutions</p>
