Currently, there is a large number of dispersed and nanodispersed materials used in the manufacturing industry. They have various physicomechanical and physicochemical properties that have to be taken into account when developing and using various technological equipment as well as during technological processes. One of the main technological processes is mixing. Being sometimes auxiliary, this process is widely used in many industries, and, ultimately, determines the quality of the finished product. The influence of the rheological properties of the components to be mixed, both on the process of preparing the mixture and on the design of the equipment, has long been known. However, it is challenging to design mixing processes and mixers without taking into account such characteristics of dispersed materials as density (bulk and intrinsic), particle size and shape, coefficient of internal and external friction, hygroscopicity, adhesiveness as well as others. Usually, when considering technological processes and developing equipment, the issues of productivity, process time, energy consumption are given priority. At the same time, the influence of geometric parameters of the equipment on the mixing process and the dynamics of the movement of dispersed materials in the reaction volume has not been sufficiently studied. To address this issue, the authors examined the mixing process of dispersed materials of various sizes and bulk density using the example of a gravity mixer. The main factors affecting the quality of mixing and design parameters of the equipment for processing dispersed materials were established. Practical recommendations are given for specialists involved in the design of mixing equipment. These recommendations are general in nature, since it is problematic and indeed erroneous to give specific recommendations due to the large variety of dispersed materials and, accordingly, their physical and mechanical characteristics, as well as the equipment features.

Abstract This paper deals with the issue of financing technology investments. Specifically, it concerns the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The main objective of this paper is to identify financing sources used for the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel in selected companies. Another objective was to evaluate whether the selected industrial companies outsource the process of loading and transportation or not. If so, it was then necessary to find out the most common reason for that decision. The issues of financing technological processes in loading and transporting sand and gravel is an interesting area that has not yet been mapped.

The author of this scientific paper studies the stress-strain state of the solar panel of a small spacecraft after a temperature shock. The temperature shock is caused by the entry or exit of a small spacecraft into or out the Earth's shadow. In this work is considered a one-dimensional model of thermal conductivity. It is assumed that the solar radiation flux falls properly on the solar panel. Violation of normality due to deformations is neglected. A special feature of this work is to take into account the actual fixing of the solar panel. The boundary conditions in the form of a seal are preserved. However, the mobility of the smallest spacecraft is taken into account as a result of the occurrence of a longitudinal force in the solar panel during a temperature shock. The results are compared with the simulation data without taking into account the mobility of the small spacecraft. The results of this work can be used in the design of small spacecraft for technological purposes to meet the requirements for microaccelerations.

This paper considers the task of evaluating micro-accelerations arising due to the temperature shock of large elastic elements when a small spacecraft leaves the Earth’s shadow. In this case, a one-dimensional model of thermal conductivity is used. Its solution was obtained by the method of direct approximation with the construction of difference schemes. It is shown that the accuracy of estimating micro-accelerations is commensurate with the accuracy of solving by a three-dimensional model of thermal conductivity. The proposed model allows reducing the time to obtain estimates and significantly simplifies the task at hand. The results of the work can be used in the formation of the dynamic characteristics of a small spacecraft for technological purposes.
