This study aims to determine the level of satisfaction of mathematics education students to the service of the study program. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Subjects in this study are active students of mathematics education courses semester academic year 2016/2017. Aspects reviewed to find out the satisfaction of the service of mathematics education program based on five dimensions of responsiveness, reliability, empathy, assurance, and tangibles. The results showed, in general of the five dimensions, the satisfaction of students of mathematics education to service study program in terms of five dimensions feel quite satisfied.

The aim of the research is to study: 1) how prospective mathematics teachers plan character education in learning; 2) how prospective mathematics teachers carry out character education in learning; 3) how prospective mathematics teachers assess character education in learning. The research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects are IKIP PGRI Pontianak teachers, especially those in Mathematics Education study program. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that. 1) Prospective mathematics teachers plan well the character education, internalize it in the KKNI curriculum and design it according to the indicators set in the SNP-PT guidelines. 2) Prospective mathematics teachers carry out well the character education. 3) Prospective mathematics teachers assess very well the character education as an improvement in character in the study program environment

AbstrakMemasuki era Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) diperlukan calon guru yang berkualitas agar mampu menyiapkan generasi yang dapat bersaing secara global. Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki seorang calon guru adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Sebuah penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis dipengaruhi oleh kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa Pendidikan Metematika FKIP UKSW ditinjau dari tingkat kepercayaan diri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian merupakan mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UKSW yang diambil berdasarkan 2 kategori yaitu mahasiswa dengan kepercayaan diri tinggi atau S1 dan mahasiswadengan kepercayaan diri rendah atau S2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis antara subjek S1 dan subjek S2 dimana subjek S1 memenuhi semua aspek FRISCO (fokus, reason, inference, situasion, clarity, dan overview) sedangkan subjek S2 hanya memenuhi aspek focus, reason, inferencedanclarity. Profil of Student’s Mathematical Critical Thinking in Solving Trigonometry Question Viewed from Self-ConfidenceAbstractEntering the era of the Asean Economic Community (MEA) requires qualified teacher candidates to be able to prepare generations that can compete globally. One of the abilities that a prospective teacher must possess is mathematical critical thinking skills. A study concluded that critical thinking skills are influenced by self-confidence. This study aims to describe the mathematical critical thinking skills of the SWCU FKIP Mathematics Education students in terms of their level of confidence. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The research subjects were SWCU FKIP Mathematics Education students taken based on 2 categories, namely students with high self-confidence or S1 and students with low self-confidence or S2. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in mathematical critical thinking skills between S1 subjects and S2 subjects where S1 subjects fulfill all aspects of FRISCO (focus, reason, inference, situation, clarity, and overview) while S2 subjects only fulfill focus, reason, inference, and clarity aspects.

Linear Programming is a course under the scope of algebra that must be mastered by mathematics education students. The low ability to solve linear programming problems can affect student performance when they become a teacher. This study aims to analyze the need for developing learning videos in Linear Programming courses for students of the Mathematics Education Study Program. The method used is development research which consists of Preliminary Analysis, Product Prototype, and Assessment. The research subjects were 30 students in the 7th semester of mathematics education and had attended online Linear Programming lectures in the previous semester. Data were collected by conducting written tests, questionnaires, and interviews and analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The results of the written test analysis showed that the students' ability to solve linear programming problems was low. Based on interviews, it is also known that students are not enough just to learn through modules and virtual meetings. Students tend to need learning videos/records to repeat explanations when studying the material independently. Therefore, there is a great need for learning videos that can optimize online learning of Linear Programming courses.

<p>Geometry is a branch of science in mathematics and a course taken by students of mathematics education. Based on students' final exam scores, results were not optimal with several types of errors detected. This study aimed at identify student mistakes in solving geometry problems on the topic of solid figures. The subjects of this study were mathematics education students in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Tangerang. The type of research was a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection technique used was a test. The results showed that students' errors in solving geometry problems were concept errors, calculation errors, and a lack of accuracy because they were in a hurry.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Geometri merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu dalam matematika dan merupakan matakuliah yang wajib diikuti oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika. Berdasarkan nilai ujian akhir semester mahasiswa didapatkan hasilnya masih kurang maksimal, hal ini memungkinkan terdapat beberapa tipe kesalahan jawaban dari mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal UAS geometri pada topik bangun ruang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester genap Universitas Pelita Harapan Tangerang tahun akademik 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal geometri adalah kesalahan konsep, kesalahan hitung, dan kurang teliti karena terburu-buru.</p>

 This research aims to describe the profile of pedagogical knowledge (PK) capabilities, content knowledge (CK), and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of physics students who are conducting integrated field recognition practices (PPLT). This research is qualitative descriptive research, where all data are collected based on facts obtained in the field, so descriptive data were obtained from respondents who were selected. The research subjects involved 6 physics education students who conducted PPLT at school as respondents. The selected category is based on a cumulative achievement index. The selected respondents were 2 high ability students, 2 medium students, and 2 low ability students. Data obtained through pedagogical knowledge observation sheets, content knowledge tests, and pedagogical content knowledge observation questionnaires. The data was taken from PPLT student learning compilation in schools. Based on the results of research on the ability of PK, CK, and PCK PPLT physics education students obtained, that students who have high PK and CK abilities have high PCK abilities, while students who have PK abilities and low CK abilities also have high PCK abilities.

Aims: To analyze the mathematical reasoning ability of mathematics education students. Study Design: Qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Place and Duration of Study: The population of all 3rd-semester mathematics education students at Bung Hatta University who take geometry courses is 25 students. Methodology: This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Researchers directly measure the mathematical reasoning ability of students in the mathematics education study program. Judging from the research subjects, the population of all 3rd-semester mathematics education students at Bung Hatta University who took geometry courses was 25 students. Results: From the analysis results, it was found that the achievement of mathematical reasoning abilities for indicators of students' ability to present mathematical statements orally, in writing, pictures, and diagrams indicated by question number 1 was 74% (Good Category). The indicators of mathematical manipulation ability shown in questions number 2 and 5 are 41% (Category Enough), and 42% (Category Enough). And the indicators of students' ability to conclude, compile evidence, provide comments, or evidence from several solutions shown by questions number 3 and 4 are 67% (Good Category) and 58% (Enough Category). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is to be able to determine the category of mathematical reasoning of the 3rd-semester students of the Bung Hatta University Mathematics Education Study Program.

Abstract Online learning is currently being implemented in Indonesia because of the impact of Covid-19. This research is to describe the motivation to learn mathematics education students ini online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this research is students in the 6th and 7th semesters of the mathematics education study program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) with 32 samples taken randomly. The instrument in this research used data in the form of a questionnaire  given online via Google Form and the results of interviews. The data analysis technique in this study was to interpret the presents of each of the 7 indicators of learning motivation according to Uno and to conduct interviews with selected research subjects related to online learning. The result of this research is that the 6th and 7th semesters of mathematics education students of UNSIKA have a high motivation to learn by obtaining a percentage of 88%. This means that even in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of online learning, it does not affect the motivation of students of mathematics education study programs to study actively.   Keywords: Motivation to learn, Online Learning, Mathematics Education   Abstrak Pembelajaran daring saat ini tengah diberlakukan di Indonesia karena dampak dari Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana motivasi belajar daring mahasiswa pendidikan matematika selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 dan semester 7 pada program studi pendidikan matematika di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) dengan sampel diambil secara acak berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data berupa kuesioner atau angket yang diberikan secara online melalui Google Form dan hasil wawancara. Teknik analasis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menginterpretasikan presentse dari setiap 7 indikator motivasi belajar menurut Uno dan dilakukan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian yang terpilih terkait pembelajaran  daring. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UNSIKA semester 6 dan semester 7 dominan memilliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi dengan memperoleh presentase sebesar 87,93%. Ini artinya, meskipun dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19 dan sedang diberlakukannya pembelajaran daring tidak mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika untuk giat dalam belajar. This study aims to determine the perception of mathematics education students of FKIP Unram on the online learning process, abilities after online learning, and to describe related to online learning in the covid-19 era in mathematics education students of FKIP Unram in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was carried out using descriptive qualitative research methods, for data collection a questionnaire was distributed via google form, with a sample of mathematics education students who were active and learning online in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used in this study is a closed questionnaire, where respondents just choose the answers that are already available. The results showed that the perception of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Unram towards the online learning process in the 2020/2021 academic year was categorized as good with a percentage of 79.13%. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of abilities after online learning are in good category with a percentage of 70.44%. Based on the results of the percentage scores for each indicator of the perception of the online learning process and the ability after online learning, there are several things that must be maintained and developed in online learning at the Unram Mathematics Education Study Program, namely 1). Lecturers always provide learning materials or materials. 2). The material provided by the lecturer is in the form of modules or textbooks. 3). The material presented online is in accordance with the lecture/RPS contract. 4). The online learning process is carried out using the Google Meet application. 5). Students find it easier to use the Google Meet application in the online learning process. 6). Students always do the assignments given by the lecturer. 7). Lecturers always check student attendance. 8). Lecturers give additional value to students who actively ask and answer in the online learning process. 9). Lecturers always provide opportunities for students to ask questions and discuss. 10). Lecturers respond to questions that arise during the online lecture process. 11). Lecturers provide feedback by asking students questions related to the material that has been studied.

This research is qualitative descriptive research aimed to describe: (1) strategy used by lecturers in developing creative imagination of students of Art Education Study Program of Faculty of Arts and Design of Universitas Negeri Makassar through Development of Mixedmedia painting; (2) understanding of students in realizing mixed media painting. Population and sample in this research were all works made by students participating in the painting III courses in Art Education Program in the odd semester of the academic year 2015/2016. The object in this research was the work result of student experimentation in the task of Artist III course, there were 40 works to be analyzed. The technique of data collection was done through observation using observation format, documentation of work, and limited interview. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive-qualitative analysis technique. The results showed that: (1) the students' creative imagination can be fostered through gradually mixed media painting tasks; (2) generally, the students of Art Painting III have a good understanding of creating mixed painting with media utilizing various mixed materials.
