Contemporary society is actively engaged into technology innovations due to their multi-purposeful usage for personal, professional and educational reasons. Many new terms defining information communication technologies appear but the paper focuses on the interactive media, which may be considered as an integral part of the phenomenon. It is aimed to analyze and discuss the possibilities of integration of interactive media into language learning process to support the efficiency of the study process taking into consideration the needs and achievements of students. The lectures organized with traditional teaching material are getting old-fashioned gradually; therefore, new trends appear in the education process and technologies have to be successfully integrated by the teachers working in higher education institutions. Currently life pace is extremely fast, and rapid changes influence the life of young people who want to be well-educated and prepared for the further professional career. The research was organized to investigate whether the students of higher education institution demonstrate willingness to integrate interactive media into language learning process, i.e. students do not have to be passive users but actively apply and use interactive media in the learning process. Consequently, the teachers have to be familiar with the opportunities provided by the interactive media and acknowledge the necessity of its integration, but still some considerations and uncertainty exist. The methods used for the research are as follows: analysis of the scientific literature sources, content analysis, and questionnaires. Findings of the research are formulated after analysis of the collected data and they revealed the capabilities of the students to use interactive media and perception of the importance and usefulness of such measures.Majority of teachers demonstrate conservative attitude towards innovations and implementation of modern teaching/learning methods, but the situation will be improved putting the efforts in order to seek positive learning outcomes and modernize the study process.

We analyse the importance of meaningful learning and the use of a formative assessment strategy, promoted by peer learning methods centred on the students, in a curricular unit (CU) pertaining to a degree in Exact Sciences, in a Higher Education Institution. Five students from the CU were questioned, through a focus group; the teacher was interviewed. Data of 12 hours of lessons was analysed and categorised using webQDA. We conclude that emphasising the students’ engagement in teaching, learning, and evaluation, has the power to drive the methodological teaching options to incline towards active methods that involve students in activities that foster meaningful learning. And the use of systematic formative assessments, integrated in the teaching-learning process, by using effective feedback, is most likely to make students and teachers responsible for an overall improvement in learning.

Learner centred education through appropriate methodologies facilitates effective learning as teaching-learning modalities of higher education are considered to be relevant to the learner group. Curriculum delivery and pedagogy should incorporate multitude of learning experiences and innovative learning methodologies through adoption of technology. Plenty of resources external to the curriculum come into use, which offer valuable learning experiences. Augmentation of resources for teaching-learning process would enhance the quality of learning. The role of the institution is to identify and provide such experiences using these resources so as to improve their learning through the alround learning opportunities available to them. Institutional strategy to nurture critical thinking, creativity and scientific temper among the students is to transform them into lifelong learners and innovators. Teaching-learning process should be mutually complementary where both the teacher and the taught gain as a result of the diversity of learning experiences. This paper discusses how technology adoption practices and augmentation of resources contribute to learning in a higher education institution.

The aim of this paper is to socialize the schooling of a deafblind student in a school in Macapá, Amapá. We will present aspects of the teaching learning process, didactic resources, methodology, advances and difficulties. The student is a 10 years-old female, reported with deep deafness and blindness. She is studying at the 3rd year of Elementary I for the second time. The regular classroom teacher has a higher education level and has already been mentored by the Multifunctional Resource Room (MRR) teacher. However, this teacher says she has no other professionals to accompany students with difficulties, so the student does not attended classes. At MRR, the student was assiduous and communicated with the teacher through reference objects and tactile pounds. She played games and activities using tact and overlapping hands, and recognized the surroundings when conducted freely by the teacher. This teacher has college and postgraduate degrees and is pursuing a master's degree. We emphasize the importance of trained professionals to the deafblind person from an early age to higher education, because it is necessary to meet their needs, respecting and valuing their time and knowledge. However, there are still noticeable gaps in school to become inclusive, regarding the ability of providing access, permanence and completion of studies.

The University now is the managing three substantive core functions: teaching, research, and links, all go hand in the teaching-learning process, the interesting thing about this idea is that the Higher Education Center becomes the main axis of knowledge. The objective of this research is to know the way that Higher Education Institutions have raised their incidence in local development. Deepening, from the studies conducted in the processes of linkage, which is where the relationship with their teaching activities has established of research and where quality preparation has given to the students, allowing them to satisfy the requirements of the productive matrix of the province. The career of Industrial Engineering has taken for the study because this is the fundamental pillar in supporting the change of productive matrix of the province. Education is a process that simplifies learning. It should be a continuous process in one’s life to attain success. Over the decades, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have gradually begun to play a very important role in education, with their usage in education is growing worldwide continuously. These methods allow access to information through the internet. In education, ICT is the method of teaching that uses information and communication technology to support, improve and optimize the transfer of information, in turn leading to the invention of smart education. This improves the quality of teaching, the learning process of students and ultimately facilitates e-learning. It is commonly believed that technology can empower educators and students, making substantial contributions to knowledge and achievement. This paper gives an insight into the various tools that help instructors to develop online course content using Learning Management System tools. These tools allow the instructors to conduct online classes from any location using tutor tools and desktop recording tools to record screen output for further use. The instructor can assess the students in their course using assessment tools and can also enhance teaching methods using innovative teaching tools. The paper also throws limelight on the feedback taken by the faculty as well as the students about the usage of various tools in higher education which helps in analyzing the best suitable tools.
