Health is in the area of analysis of many sciences, e.g. psychology, sociology, pedagogy or philosophy. Each of them presents health and its specificity in a specific way. The most frequently indicated dimensions of health are: physical, mental (including intellectual and emotional), social, spiritual and transcendent. Contemporary pedagogical concepts of health emphasize that they can be considered as: value, resource (wealth), means, aim, a concept emphasizing the benefits of being healthy. Attention is also paid to the health mandala and the eudaimonic concept of family health. Thanks to these concepts, health is part of family care, educational and socialization processes. Parents, the main implementers of integrated interactions, create, among others, health behaviors, attitudes or lifestyle of their children. The subject of the research was the course of care, educational and socialization processes in professional foster families functioning in the city of Szczecin. The aim of the research was to find out about the specificity of family care, educational and socialization processes. The activities of professional foster families in caring for: children's health, their health attitudes and behaviors as well as health as a value in human life were especially emphasized. The research method was to triangulate the diagnostic survey method with the qualitative dimension of the case study. The technique used for the study was a questionnaire, in-depth qualitative interview and direct observation. The obtained empirical material was subjected to an in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis with elements of interpretability of the data, however, efforts are being made to make a holistic diagnosis of the family. Axiologization of health attitudes in the surveyed families and making children aware of the need to take care of their own health on the basis of resources at hand are particularly significant for the armory.

A key element contributing to the quality of teaching in all educational areas is teacher’s belief in their professional competencies. The paper describes the impact of high or low teacher’s self-efficacy beliefs on the quality of their teaching, as well as the ways to promote self-efficacy. We see a gap in knowledge regarding the issue of whether kindergarten teachers are able to recognise the sources of self-efficacy offered by their practice. The aim of the research was to find out whether teachers can use the potential of children's art exhibitions to strengthen their teacher’s self-efficacy, not only to present children's art works. A qualitative approach has been applied to the research that involved 30 kindergarten teachers awarded for an excellent level of art education. The research has shown that even the most highly qualified teachers benefit from the exhibition in terms of being professionally inspired and motivated. These are mainly self-efficacy supports in the category of vicarious experience and social persuasion. The impact of perceived personal well-being is also very significant. These findings highlight the importance of self-evident activities, such as the presentation and exhibition of children's art works. They can thus serve as a guide in the conception of exhibitions and conscious support for teacher’s self-efficacy.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people’s lives worldwide, causing stress and anxiety for many people, including pregnant women. In addition do not knowing the implications of the new disease, pregnant women may also be negatively impacted by public health actions, such as limitations for accompanying persons to participate in childbirth and overall social distancing. The main objective of the research is to compare childbirth among women who gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic with a control group. The data was collected using a questionnaire for Assessing the Childbirth Experience. 537 women who gave birth in 2019 and 2020 were included in the research and divided into two groups based on whether they gave birth before or after the state of emergency was declared in Latvia on March 12, 2020. The data was analysed using the IBM SPSS statistics program. The results showed that the childbirth experience for women giving birth without an accompanying person was statistically inferior on several accounts (process control, level of fear, breastfeeding support, etc.) than for women who had an accompanying person participating. In the research group there were proportionally more such women than in the control group, showing that COVID-19 has negatively impacted childbirth experience for many women.

The main idea of the article is to present some characteristics of social expectations of teachers’ work that appeared after March 2020 when the whole world found itself in online education. These expectations are rather unified and do not depend on the level of economic development of the country or the degree of involvement in providing educational services online in the pre-Covid period. The article also attempts to analyse the challenges that teachers face while providing educational services online by dividing them in 3 groups: challenges related to students; challenges related to teachers, and challenges related to external factors. As the basis for the research, the results of an anonymous survey of teachers and lecturers from 6 countries were used. The results of the study show that social expectations and social requirements set for teachers and the education system in general by the society in the context of forced and total online education are excessive For writing the article, both theoretical (analysis, observation, reflection, etc.) and empirical (survey, static processing) research methods were used.

The long-term impact of the pandemic with unpredictable consequences will also be observed in the field of education. The aim of the article is to analyse the potential impact of COVID-19 on the providing of qualitative legal education.  Full-fledged assurance of the qualitative education is linked to common conditions for acquiring of knowledge, skills and competences. There are certain specifics in obtaining legal education, especially higher education. It is related to a combination of circumstances that are relevant to the specific knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired by lawyers and legal assistants. In 2020 a new standard for the legal profession was approved, which not only defines new qualitative requirements for the relevant profession, but also determines the need to make adjustments in the relevant study programs. The process of implementing and performing qualitative legal education in the current circumstances is being transformed in line with the international   and national regulatory frameworks in the context of management of COVID-19. As research methods descriptive, analytical and synthetic methods are used by the authors.

In the field of psychology resilience of the chronically ill has been studied mostly using quantitative research methods, but there are much fewer qualitative studies. This scoping review aims to collect definitions of resilience, find out, whether resilience development strategies are mentioned and what research approaches are used in qualitative studies about the resilience of the chronically ill. The review was conducted, following the 5-stage framework by Arksey and O’Malley, PRISMA guidelines, and searching in PubMed, PsychInfo, and Scopus databases. The main keywords (patients with chronic illness, resilience, strategies, qualitative studies) were selected according to the Participants/Concept/Context (PCC) framework, 21 articles were included in the review. Resilience mostly was defined as the ability to recover, return to normality, and adapt to new conditions after experiencing stress, illness, or other negative events. In several studies, other terms like coping, personal strength, self-management, and psychological growth were used instead. Lived experiences of the chronically ill show that resilience is not a stable ability, it changes over time. Resilience can be developed, using different strategies, such as having a positive mindset, learning new skills, accepting help, or promoting a healthy lifestyle. Qualitative content analysis and thematic analysis were the most often used research approaches in qualitative studies about the resilience of the chronically ill.

Mathematics is an important and complex subject, and research in the field of neuroscience shows that 50% of people have a fear of mathematics. However, it is a subject that students will need for the rest of their lives. Educators recognize that every student needs an individual approach, but the teaching methods are still the same for the whole class. The poor results in mathematics also suggest that students' perceptions and interests have changed, and that old teaching methods are no longer as effective as before and that new solutions need to be invented. The aim of the research is to identify important factors that are necessary for more effective learning of mathematics in general education schools. Qualitative research methods were used for the research strategy - in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, surveys of pupils and students, information analysis in the media, pedagogical and business experience, as well as world success stories. As a result of the research, the following have been identified: 1) problems that were identified using the distance learning during the Covid19 pandemic; 2) students' wishes that arouse interest in mathematics; 3) the interests of students, which indicate the need for interdisciplinary approaches; 4) advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. The study points to the necessity for collaboration between educators, industry professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers, and for AI solutions to create deeper, faster and more personalized learning of mathematics in general education schools in the future, increasing the growth of every student.
