Game-based learning is an exciting and interactive tool used by many teachers across the globe. This research aims to check whether any significant change is found in the learning of the student before and after introducing game-based learning in classroom teaching. MBA students were identified as the target group for this research. The production dice game was used for this experiment. The teacher engaged the first session traditionally and later with the production dice game. Student learning was captured through a Google form before and after the game. The Google form had questions ranging from understanding to analyzing to application-level to capture exactly the effectiveness of game-based learning, Paired sample t-test was applied to check the before and after test results, and it was found that there was a significant change in the learning among the identified target group. Through this study, the authors conclude that game-based learning provides better results in student learning as compared to regular classroom teaching.

Purpose: Every person in this world has the right to be educated and by every person means every single person, yes, the persons of special needs as well. About 15 percent of the world’s population has suffered various forms of disabilities such as visual and hearing impairment, physically handicapped, or mental retardation. The 1st purpose of this research was to find out the problems that a teacher faced while teaching a special learner at a higher education level. 2nd to find out the student’s perspective of studying in an inclusive setting at the university level. Design/Methodology/Approach: A phenomenological design was used and both teachers and their students took interviews. Qualitative theme analysis method was used in this study to analyze the teachers and students’ perceptions. Findings: The study’s findings provide an understanding of the experiences of teachers as well as perspectives regarding disabilities of learners in the regular classroom. They both recognized four zones that obstruct their capability to efficiently teach in a mixed ability classroom and the regular classroom. (a) Insufficient knowledge of teachers and lack of awareness about inclusion in the classroom. (b) Lack of training employed in inclusive or regular classrooms with differently-abled students; (c) Lack of examination to choose the most suitable aids which helpful for the teaching in the inclusive regular classroom. (d). Learning difficulty and psychological issues in the classroom. Implications/Originality/Value: From This research everyone will be benefited: students, as per their learning will be improved by it; educators as it will improve their teaching and efficiency in the classroom and parents, as their children will more likely to have a positive environment in the university. It will provide them an opportunity to learn from each other at the university level.

The COVID-19 pandemic imposed a quick introduction of distance learning for many students. In Bulgaria, the Ministry of Education and Science obliged schools to work synchronously with their pupils using video conference rooms. After the easing of the containment measures, regular classroom education was restored. However, the problems with quarantined students persisted. School principals had to solve new organizational challenges. The hardest and most frequent issue was the split of a given class into students present in school, and students learning online. The article introduces an organizational model of a hybrid classroom where teaching is carried out in a physical and an online classroom at the same time. The authors describe their experience with specific hardware and software used for the first time in Bulgaria for educational purposes. They also show their experience with the organization of traineeships for university students as primary school IT teachers using a hybrid classroom.

The number of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is increasing in China, whose inattention, disorganization, and impaired hyperactivity cause challenges for their study and teachers’ teaching activities in classroom. The study applied self-monitoring intervention for two children with ADHD learning in a primary school to improve their problem behaviors. We found self-monitoring intervention was likely to reduce their off-task behaviors, even for students with ADHD and ASD. Practical implication of the intervention is discussed in the paper.

The attainment of inclusive educational support requires a common response to diversity for the whole centre, which generates spaces that ensure the presence, participation and socio-educational achievement of all students. The general objective of this study is to analyse how educational support is developed from the framework of action of inclusive education in a territory from the Region of Murcia. For this purpose, a descriptive, non-experimental and mixed research was carried out using a questionnaire in which 23 support teachers participated. The results show a dissociation in the tasks of the support teachers towards the regular classroom, a largely individualised attention outside the regular classroom towards the students who receive support, and a lack of coordination and joint work on the part of the support teachers and the regular classroom teachers. It is concluded that the transformation of the barriers that hinder the establishment of inclusive support systems into facilitators for inclusion, can be determined by the existence of a more flexible curriculum, teacher training in inclusion and the reformulation of teaching roles towards more collaborative profiles.

Background: Coronavirus outbreak has forced a prolonged closure of educational institutes all over world including India which have affected the regular classroom studies and skill acquisition by students. The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and perception regarding mass open online courses (MOOC) among medical students. Methods: A web-based cross-sectional study using google form survey tool was conducted among undergraduate medical students. Questions were asked on demographic information, use and accessibility of information technologies, awareness and utilization of MOOC and barriers and motivations for course enrollment and completion. Results: Overall 224(54.9%) of medical students had ever heard about MOOC. Out of them, only 31.6% students had actually enrolled for any online course. Further, course completetion rate was only 11.6%. Age and year of study was significantly associated with enrolment to MOOC. Important motivation for enrolment were learning new thing, learning medicine and for better career prospects while common barriers were low internet speed and lack of time. Among those who completed the course, most of them had a satisfactory or very satisfactory level of satisfaction with regard to overall experience, quality of presented material, technology used, and video lectures. Conclusions: There is poor awareness and utilization of MOOC among medical students which can hamper their learning particularly in absence on regular classroom teaching. There is need of blended curriculum harnessing the advantages of MOOC platform which will aid students continue learning in difficult times.

This qualitative study explored how well prepared first year teachers feel in teaching children with disabilities in the regular classroom. Six elementary school teachers, recent graduates from Faculties of Education in Ontario were interviewed. Findings indicate that the teachers in this study do not feel that their pre-service education program prepared them for the reality of teaching students with disabilities in the regular classroom, and that they will need to look to their School Board for further training. In addition, many feel that they lack the knowledge necessary to design and implement an IEP. The importance of further preparation for first year teachers to work with students with IEPs is discussed and explored.
