The Covid-19 pandemic has further eroded people's income and purchasing power. People’s savings are increasingly decreasing for consumption needs, especially for those who experienced termination of employment or were laid off, resulting in an increasingly depleted source of household funds. Deflation in July and August 2020 was triggered more by falling prices for a number of food, beverage and transportation groups, indicating the large demand in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Trends in other countries show that there is a slowdown in inflation and deflation that is hitting supply and demand. The decline in demand for food was correlated with a decrease in the exchange rate of agricultural food crops by 0.25%, or to be 110.17. In terms of the contribution of public expenditure, it appears that the 20% group (upper class) reaches 45.49% of the total national consumption, the 40% group (middle class) contributes 36.78%, and the 40% group (lower class) only contributes 17%. Middle and upper income groups whose income is not disturbed tend to choose to save rather than spend their money, considering that no one knows when the Covid-19 pandemic will end and when the situation will return to normal. Deflation in July and August 2020 was triggered more by falling prices for a number of food, beverage and transportation groups, indicating the large demand in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The decline in spending amid the Covid-19 pandemic is mainly triggered by the weakening of the purchasing power of the lower class and the tendency of the upper middle segment to withhold spending resulting in further pressure on the income of small and medium enterprises. Based on the results of the ADB survey, it can be seen that 61.1% of MSMEs in Indonesia reduced the number of workers in March 2020, 59.8% of MSMEs reduced workers in March 2020, and 59.8% of MSMEs reduced workers in April 2020.With a contribution of 61.1% to Gross Domestic Product, the recovery of the ultra-micro and MSME sectors is very urgent amidst the pressure of the Covid-19 pandemic. Ultra-micro financing based on digital technology is intended to accelerate penetration and financial inclusion, considering that ultra-micro business actors still have difficulty accessing bank financing due to various factors, such as not having a bank account

This study will determine how much the influence of the exchange rate, the number of MSMEs, investment, credit, and inflation on MSME exports nationally, and how they contribute to GDP per capita. The research method uses multiple regression with data transformation ln. The results of the study consist of model 1, the exchange rate factor, the number of MSMEs, investment, credit, and inflation are variables that influence increasing the number of product exports produced from the MSME sector. In the second model, the contribution of MSME exports to GDP per capita. The results showed that of all significant positive variables and one significant negative variable. The investment required in Indonesia, whose number continues to increase yearly, affects the high number of products exports from the MSME sector. For this reason, investment factors must continue to be considered to increase MSME exports. In contrast, the contribution of the inflation variable has a significant negative effect, which is an inverse relationship to MSME exports. It is predicted that if inflation is low, MSME exports will increase, and vice versa if inflation is high, MSME exports will decline. Furthermore, model 2 shows that MSME exports significantly contribute to gross domestic product per capita. In this case, the ups and downs of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises' exports need special attention.

In July 2020, Indonesia experienced 0.1 percent deflation, with food, beverage, and tobacco categories accounting for 0.79 percent of the total. A continual drop in the price of goods and services over a period of time is defined as deflation. This shows a drop in the demand for food products. The impact of the Covid-19 epidemic is strongly intertwined to this. People have a tendency to be strict when it comes to limiting the number of purchases of a particular item. The inadequate purchasing power of the lower class drove the drop in spending, further suppressing the income of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Due to the fact that, in normal circumstances, accidental purchases outnumber planned ones.

The questionnaire was employed for the purpose of data collection from which out of the 300 questionnaires distributed, 180 were returned representing a 60% response rate. Guided by the research objectives, the data collected through the questionnaire were sorted, coded and presented in graphical and tabular forms for the purpose of descriptive analysis. To determine the significance of the relationship between the dependent and independent variables, a regression analysis was carried out using the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24. The study established that digital financial services were significant factors in ensuring growth of SMEs in Kenya. The study concluded that Mobile payments have become a favorite means of making financial transactions.  The study also established that Applications available for mobile digital devices is expected to increase enormously.  Digital payment technology has increased over the last decade. From the findings, it was concluded that Consumers grow more familiar with the different payment systems available and encourage more transactions. The SMEs should explore the possibility of forming a management committee to streamline economic digitisation issues. It is recommended that the organization clearly spell out economic digitisation procedures and criteria. This can stir positive growth  among SMEs establishments and can result in effective management. The Government and the various agencies should also make provisions for training programs for SMEs  to empower them in terms of economic digitisation. The SMEs should not rely on external professionals to assist in digitisation as this may be expensive. It is also recommended that the SMEs should adopt digital financial services. E-commerce will ensure increased profitability for small and medium enterprises. They should also have Social networking sites, which have proved to be popular online activities in relation to time, spent. They should also adopt Innovation driven entrepreneurship as it contributes to increase in sales revenue, market share, efficiency, customers’ loyalty and firm profitability.

The Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia (September 2020) conducted a survey where the results explained that there was a decrease in the income of micro and small businesses by 84% and 82% in medium and large businesses in the accommodation, food and beverage, other services, transportation and warehousing services, construction, manufacturing, and trade sectors. The problems that entrepreneurs face are complicated. Not only do they need stimulus and capital assistance, but also assistance to enter the digital system economy, opening new markets, and increasing product competitiveness. Communication and socialization are also needed as an effort to empower the MSMEs. The use of information technology and digitalization is very much needed to survive the current economy amidst the pandemic. However, the number of entrepreneurs that are able to digitize their business is still relatively small. It is impossible for the digitizing process to take place immediately therefore it is best to join electronic trade organizers or e-commerce companies such as Tokopedia and Shopee.
