Conductivity measurement of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide in the presence of Brij-35 in aqueous media at 289.15 K is performed. The result showed a sharp increase in conductivity with increase in the concentration of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide in the presence of Brij-35. The graph of specific conductivity versus concentration is used in determining the critical micelle concentration (CMC). There is the decrease in CMC of  dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide in the presence of  Brij-35 in comparison with the CMC of  dodecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide [DTAB]. Precise measurements on the specific conductivity of cationic surfactant (Dodecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide) and anionic surfactant (Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate) in methanol water mixed solvent media containing 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 volume fractions of methanol are reported at 308.15 K. Specific conductivities of Dodecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide and Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate increase with increase in concentration and decrease with increase in the volume fractions of methanol.  Critical micelle concentration (cmc) increases with increase in volume fraction of methanol in case of both surfactants. Free energy of micellization (ΔGºm) has been calculated. The precise measurement of the specific conductivity of sodium deoxycholate in pure water and ethanolwater mixed solvent media containing 0.10 and 0.20 volume fraction of ethanol at 303.15 K are reported. The concentration were varied from ~ 0.01 mol L-1 to ~ 0.0002 mol L-1.The conductivity of sodium deoxycholate decreases with the increase in the volume fraction of ethanol. The physicochemical behaviour of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB) in water and ethanol-water mixture in the presence and absence of ZnSO4 were studied by measuring the conductivity at 298.15 K. The pre-micellar (S1) and post-micellar slopes (S2) were obtained and calculated the degree of dissociation (α) and the critical micelle concentration (cmc). With an increase in ethanol content, the cmc and α of DTAB increased whereas, in the presence of ZnSO4, the cmc and α decreased. By using cmc and α, thermodynamic properties as the standard free energy of micellization ( ) were evaluated. With an increase in ethanol content, the negative values of  are decreased indicating less spontaneous in the micellization which makes micellization less favourable. The correlation of the pre-micellar and post-micellar slopes with the volume fraction of ethanol were discussed. DTAB micellization was tested in contexts of specific solvent parameters and solvophobic parameter.

The intermolecular free-length of 1-butyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium chloride [bdmim]Cl in pure water as well as in tetra-n-butyl ammonium bromide (TBAB) + water at different concentrations of solute and at T = (298.15 to 313.15) K have been evaluated by making use of ultrasonic and thermoacoustical parameters followed by a comparative study. To accomplish this objective, thermoacoustical parameters for the above said solutions have been calculated. These parameters have been used to determine intermolecular free-length (Lf) for the solutions under study. The values of Lf obtained by thermoacoustical approach were tallied with the values obtained by well-known ultrasonic method (Schaaffs method). To the best of our understanding, this study is an innovative attempt in the determination of inter-molecular free-length present in the investigated solutions by making use of ultrasonic approach.
