ABSTRACTThe work of fiction has many signs and meanings are different for each reader. Signs could reflect what might happen in real life, such as the about communication. Similarly as novella titled The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry which have a lot of interpretations. As a result of the extensive interpretation, a lot of readers do not understand what the thing to be conveyed by the author. Therefore, this study looked for signs that confuse the reader and interpret it using semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce. The study also outlines the signs associated with intrapersonal and interpersonal communication in real life, especially studied of Symbolic Interaction Theory and Coordinated Management of Meaning. ABSTRAKSKarya fiksi memiliki banyak tanda dan makna yang berbeda untuk setiap pembaca. Tanda dapat mencerminkan apa yang mungkin terjadi dalam kehidupan nyata, seperti tentang komunikasi. Demikian seperti novella berjudul The Little Prince karya Antoine de Saint-Exupéry yang memiliki banyak interpretasi. Sebagai hasil dari interpretasi yang luas, banyak pembaca tidak mengerti apa hal yang ingin disampaikan oleh penulis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencari tanda-tanda yang membingungkan pembaca dan menafsirkannya menggunakan semiotika oleh Charles Sanders Peirce. Studi ini juga menguraikan tanda-tanda yang terkait dengan komunikasi intrapersonal dan interpersonal dalam kehidupan nyata, terutama yang dipelajari tentang Teori Interaksi Simbolik dan Manajemen makna terkoordinasi.

Komunikasi antarpribadi secara intensif antara pasangan suami-isteri sudah bukan menjadi suatu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan rumah tangga ketika kehadiran media sosial semakin banyak, maju dan berada di genggaman individu modern. Sering dijumpai bahwa pada waktu pasangan (suami atau isteri) lebih banyak untuk chatting dengan teman-teman melalui media sosial salah satunya dengan WhatsApp (WA). Walaupun telihatnya chatting melalui handphone dengan Pria Idalam Lain (PIL) atau Wanita Idaman Lain (WIL), hal itu tentunya menimbulkan kecemburuan, konflik hingga perceraian dengan pasangan Tulisan ini menggunakan study literature. Teori interaksi simbolik (Symbolic Interaction Theory) menekankan pada hubungan antara simbol dan interaksi yang diberi nama Mind, Self, and Society, gejala perubahan sosial dari perspektif teori interaksi dapat dilihat bahwa pasangan suami-isteri yang semakin dalam berinteraksi melalui WA dengan PIL atau WIL akan membuat ketahanan keluarga terancam dan kepercayaan keduanya dapat menurun, serta kontribusi teori komunikasi dalam perspektif teori interaksi yakni Mead menyebut looking-glass-self dan konsep diri yang dihasilkan melalui interaksi. Kata kunci: media sosial, chatting, WhatsApp, pasangan   Intensive interpersonal communication between husband and wife has no longer become an important part domestic life following the advancement social media in the life the modern individual. Often found that when a couple (husband or wife) has more time to chat with friends using social medias. WhatsApp (WA) is one of them. In other case, chatting with affairs would cause jealousy, conflict or even divorce. The research of this paper uses literature study. Symbolic Interaction Theory emphasizes the relationship between symbols and interaction named Mind, Self, and Society. Symptoms of social change from perspective interaction theory tell that the couples who are increasingly interacting with affairsvia WhatsApp would have their marriage threatened. Moreover, the contribution of communication theory in theperspective of interaction theory of Mead mentioned the looking-glass-self and the concept of self are generated through interaction. Based on the content that users prefer to follow, they are presented with similar content, which they may like. Thus, they can interact with individuals whose mindsets are similar to theirs. The users who cannot socialize in real life due to the COVID-19 pandemic and thus consider social media as an escape point think that they can produce unlimited and uncontrolled hatred in a synergistic environment consisting of people who produce similar contents to what they produce. This study focuses on hate speech on social media and analyzes the hate, discriminative, and derogatory speech regarding men within the “dunyaerkeklergunu” hashtag on Twitter based on symbolic interaction theory using the content analysis method. Within the scope of the “dunyaerkeklergunu” hashtag, 500 shares were analyzed. The study aims to raise awareness of the fact that hate speech can be made even on international men's day and that hate speech is not only directed towards women but is also made regarding men.

This study aims to determine the social interaction of Lazis Darul Hikam and the community through Instagram social media and to find out the role of social media Instagram in building awareness of donation in Lazis Darul Hikam. The research uses symbolic interaction theory to photograph how people interact using social media, define the meaning of the symbols conveyed and ultimately lead to actions in this case giving donations. The method used is a qualitative method, the donor Lazis Darul Hikam, an active user of Instagram, is an informant in this study. The results showed that social media has the following roles: (1) Instagram is a medium for inter-institutional interaction with the community to introduce programs and reporting media, (2) Instagram social media is also able to build awareness of donations by collecting funds obtained through social media.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial Lazis Darul Hikam dan masyarakat melalui media sosial Instagram serta untuk mengetahui peran media sosial Instagram membangun kesadaran berdonasi di Lazis Darul Hikam.  Penelitian menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik untuk memotret bagaimana masyarakat berinteraksi menggunakan media sosial, mendefinisikan makna dari simbol-simbol yang disampaikan dan akhirnya bermuara pada perbuatan dalam hal ini memberikan donasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, donatur Lazis Darul Hikam pengguna aktif Instagram menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran sebagai berikut: (1) Instagram menjadi media untuk berinteraksi antar lembaga dengan masyarakat untuk memperkenalkan program dan media pelaporan, (2) Media sosial Instagram juga mampu membangun kesadaran berdonasi dengan terkumpulnya dana yang didapatkan melalui media sosial

Effective communication is certainly the dream of everyone who does it. Not separated from the communication process, early childhood also interacts to achieve the desired communication goals. In this article, the author discusses the efforts to build effective communication for teachers and early childhood in the X PAUD institution in Bandung. The author sees this topic as very important because it is an urgency now to express the creation of effective communication between teachers and early childhood in their PAUD institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. The author raises a case about efforts to build effective communication in the PAUD X institution. This study is very suitable to be analyzed with symbolic interaction theory because there is a meaning in the communication process conducted by teachers with early childhood in the PAUD institution. The results showed that there were efforts made to build effective communication between teachers and early childhood, including: (1) PAUD teachers as communicators must have characteristics of patience, willingness to sacrifice, attention, assertiveness, and be able to attract early childhood attention; (2) the existence of media / tools used by PAUD teachers at the X institution to achieve effective communication for teachers and early childhood; (3) PAUD teachers must understand the diverse character of their students
