AbstractMarine protected areas (MPAs) are considered as a valid tool for mitigating the impact of fishing on marine ecosystems. Their success depends upon their acceptance by implicated stakeholders and on the integration of the stakeholder groups into their management. This integration is especially important with regard to fishermen, whose interests are the most directly affected by MPAs. The relational coordination method posits that effective communication and supportive relationships among stakeholders result in positive stakeholder behaviors and a more effective management of the system. Applying its principles, we designed a survey to evaluate the satisfaction of fishermen associated with five MPAs in the Spanish Mediterranean and determine what mechanisms affect fishermen’s acceptance of MPAs. Our results demonstrate that effective communication is particularly important for good supportive relationships and satisfaction among fishermen and other stakeholder groups, as well as satisfaction with the MPA. Sharing objectives with fishermen through timely communication is the primary mechanism to improve fishermen's satisfaction and ameliorate perceptions towards MPA. To address this issue, we recommend more substantial integration of fishermen in the co-management of MPAs.

Conversational implicature seems to be an everlasting concern in pragmatics for its wide-ranging investigation possibility. Applying Gricean’s principles, the present study examined the types of conversational implicatures found in the Saturday Night Live talk show. This research used a qualitative method with a pragmatic approach. The research data were collected from the utterances in Season 46 Episode 5 accessed from MBC's channel (www. saturday night live – NBC.COM). The result indicated that there were two types of conversational implicatures found in Saturday Night Live talk show namely: First, particularized conversational implicature, and second, generalized conversational implicature. We found that the utterances containing particularized implicature outnumbered the ones with generalized implicature. In our interpretation, the dominance of particularized implicature reflects the centrality of the particular context in producing and inferring utterances for meaningful and effective communication.

This chapter aims at explaining the mechanisms of persuasion for effective communication in online educational environments. It starts by bringing awareness on the particularities of online educational environments and the psychological prerequisites of online studying. It tackles issues of digital skills as well as emotional intelligence abilities for online teaching, specific mindset and digital readiness, result expectations and assessment. Moreover, principles of microlearning and hybrid learning are explained as major approaches in online education. It then addresses issues related to technology-mediated communication with young ages vs. adults. It makes a brief analysis of mediated communication vs. direct communication in terms of adopted strategies according to age, adaptation of message, and feedback according to the online channel of factors affecting communication in online environments vs. face-to-face communication. Particular attention will be given to digital stress.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to describe the actions of the regulatory nurse in the management of waiting lines for elective surgeries in a public hospital. Methods: this is an experience report about the actions of the regulatory nurse in the management of waiting lines for elective surgeries. Results: the results of this initiative were: diminution in waiting times; elimination of discrepancies that led to access inequality; promotion of safer treatments; actions of the nurse as a manager, conducting and mediating situations between services; autonomy from the high management of the hospital with regard to the manager of waiting lists; and effective communication due to a constant feedback with the medical teams. Final Considerations: the management of the surgical waiting lists must be continuous and systematic, and it must be broader, to include teams that are not involved yet. This initiative can be replicated and improved in other health organizations.

Social competence is the ability of teachers to communicate and interact effectively and efficiently with students, fellow teachers, parents/guardians of students and the surrounding community. A teacher must try to develop communication both in the school environment and in the community. This research uses naturalistic qualitative research, which aims to make jokes in a systematic, accurate and accurate way about the facts or encountered in the field. The result of this research is that science teachers have not fully implemented social competence indicators. The indicators that have not been fully implemented are building effective communication with parents of students, and science teachers have not communicated with their own professional community and other professions orally and in writing or in other forms

Objective - The purpose of this research article is to examine the structural aspects of the contingent variables from the user side and the provider side of e-learning in accounting education and to explore and develop insights on how it can be applied to the changing ways of communication today in the new normal era. Methodology/Technique – We conducted research on e-learning users through 359 (three hundred and fifty nine) students majoring in accounting by using path analysis to obtain measurement results from 2 (two) structural equations. Findings - From the expectations of students as users of e-learning, it showed, first, there are no significance from relevant learning-teaching methods, students self-interest, outcome- based education (OBE) curriculum base, towards implementation of contingency e-learning . Otherwise, engagement within regulatory compliance as the only variable that can be used as an antecedent to predict the implementation of contingency e-learning. Second, relevant learning - teaching methods, and OBE curriculum base play a role in predicting the achievement of learning outcomes effectiveness. Novelty - This research provides insight and contribution to support the accounting education process that takes place in the new normal era after the Covid-19 crisis. Effective communication leads to the achievement of effective learning outcomes. This is explained by the role of engagement within regulatory compliance from students towards contingency e-learning in the accounting department as well as with the role of relevant teaching and learning, and the role of OBE curriculum as new insights from the facts of this research. Type of Paper: Empirical. JEL Classification: Keywords: Accounting E-Learning; Effectiveness of Learning Outcomes; Engagement of Regulatory Compliance; Learning Teaching Method; OBE Curriculum Base; Student Self Interest

The article is devoted to the study of modern mini-format literary works of English web literature. This subject is addressed due to the fact that there exists an urgent need to study ways of ensuring effective communication in the light of modern tendencies of verbal optimization of the cognitive processes and the reduction of the physical length of the texts. Mini-texts of web literature are considered from the standpoint of the system-dynamic approach, namely from the point of view of the dynamics of the formation of a complex semantic construct in the process of interaction and mutual influence of different-level elements of the discourse system, including the factors of the exterior environment. The methods of discourse, contextual and linguosynergetic analysis are employed for the analysis of the texts, which allows to understand how systemic interaction of speech elements within a small-format text is organized. In particular, the article describes the mechanisms of the emergence of additional semantic combinations due to the interdiscursive interaction at the level of form and content within the mini-format web narratives. Another mechanism of creating additional semantic structures consists in the violation of the proportionality between the structural and semantic plans of the mini-texts. Besides, attention is paid to ways of expanding the semantic plan of the discourse system due to the specific interaction of lexical operators that form the verbal layers of the text. In general, it is concluded that the synergetic interaction of different-level textual elements is of fundamental importance for ensuring pragmatic effectiveness of small-format web narratives, since on its basis an integral semantic system is formed which does not only influence the cognitive sphere of the recipients, but also is capable of fulfilling their aesthetic needs.
