Since the eighties, technological tools have modified how people interact in their environment. At the same time, occupational safety and health measures have been widely applied. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work considers that information and communication technologies are the main methods to achieve the goals proposed to improve working life and the dissemination of good practices. The principal objective was to determine the trends of publications focused on these technologies and occupational safety in the healthcare sector during the last 30 years. A bibliometric study was carried out. The 1021 documents showed an increased trend per country, especially for the United States (p < 0.001) and year (p < 0.001). The citations per year showed significant differences between citations of articles published before 2007 (p < 0.001). The year was also linked to the increase or decrease of articles (72.2%) and reviews (14.9%) (p < 0.001). The analysis of journal co-citations also showed that the main journals (such as Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology) were linked to other important journals and had a major part in the clusters formed. All these findings were discussed in the manuscript and conclusions were drawn.

Greece was one of the biggest producers of asbestos in the world as well as a consumer. It took advantage of the asbestos rich Zidani mine, in the region of Western Macedonia in Greece. However, due to serious health problems caused by inhaling asbestos, it was banned in 1979 and the mine closed in March 2000. Rehabilitation management of the abandoned asbestos mining area, the depositions in the open - pit mining area and the tailings remnants was necessary in order to avoid health and environmental problems in the wider area The detailed soil protection and rehabilitation project of the degraded mining area was implemented taking all necessary and appropriate safety and health measures according to the requirements of the relevant E.U and National legislation, so that accidents would be prevented. Results show that the rehabilitation, soil protection and enhancement of the area help the ecosystems to be sustainable, ecologically and socially acceptable

The presidential threshold is a requirement for the nomination of the President and Vice President to meet the minimum threshold percentage for support from the DPR or the number of valid national votes. Presidential threshold provisions are contained in various laws and regulations regarding Elections. This research is juridical study using a conceptual approach and statute approach. The legal materials used in this research are primary and secondary legal materials. The two legal materials are inventoried; then used as a basis for compiling a prescriptive study of the legal issues raised. The results of this study state that the presidential threshold has started since 2004. Regulations regarding post-reform elections always include a presidential threshold. Then, the presidential threshold has been 'tested' several times by the Constitutional Court. Various decisions of the Constitutional Court stated that the presidential threshold is one of the provisions which is the domain of open legal policy for legislators or the making of laws. Furthermore, the implication of the presidential threshold is aimed at simplifying the fragmentation of political parties in parliament. The nominations for the President and Vice President promoted by the parliamentary political party actually allow for more than two candidates; and it is also possible to have an Election that does not get the support of more than 50 persen of the voters' vote. Thus, effectiveness is needed regarding the implementation of the presidential threshold provisions in the presidential system by strengthening relations between presidential institutional actors and the President's non-institutional personnel. KEYWORDS: Presidential Threshold, General Election, Open Legal Policy.

Background: Agriculture involves several harmful diseases. Among the non-fatal ones, musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the most prevalent, as they have reached epidemic proportions. The main aim of this investigation is to systematically review the major risk factors regarding MSDs as well as evaluate the existing ergonomic interventions. Methods: The search engines of Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect were used to identify relevant articles during the last decade. The imposed exclusive criteria assured the accuracy and current progress in this field. Results: It was concluded that MSDs affect both developed and developing countries, thus justifying the existing global concern. Overall, the most commonly studied task was harvesting, followed by load carrying, pruning, planting, and other ordinary manual operations. Repetitive movements in awkward postures, such as stooping and kneeling; individual characteristics; as well as improper tool design were observed to contribute to the pathogenesis of MSDs. Furthermore, low back disorders were reported as the main disorder. Conclusions: The present ergonomic interventions seem to attenuate the MSDs to a great extent. However, international reprioritization of the safety and health measures is required in agriculture along with increase of the awareness of the risk factors related to MSDs.
