Viruses will continue to emerge and bring challenges to the global public health system with emerging viruses through respiratory contagion that cause pandemics. This study aims to propose a way to use constant monitoring during the period of treatment of the patient with COVID-19 and, thus, reduce the negative indicators of death in the Brazilian territory. Methodological techniques were used in meta-analysis and systematic reviews in the selection of included studies when used in the construction of this systematic review. 05 articles were selected for inclusion in this critical analysis.

Viral diseases continue to emerge and annually bring challenges to the Brazilian public health system, such as COVID-19 with easy respiratory infection. This study aims to analyze the importance of new technologies in the treatment of COVID-19 and, thus, promote the information of technological data in the Brazilian territory. Therefore, methodological techniques were used in systematic reviews in the selection of included studies to be used in the construction of this short and critical systematic review. And 08 articles were included for inclusion in this critical analysis.

Expired or unused medication at people's homes is normally disposed of in normal garbage, sewage system or, in certain cases, returned to the public health system. There is still no specific legislation regarding this leftover medication to regulate and orient the handling and correct disposal of medication waste. However, there is defined regulation regarding health services' solid waste. This article has the objective of discussing management models for the disposal of medication waste and the recommendations made by pertinent national and international legislation. By means of literature reviews, the management structure for medication waste of international legislation and the regulations regarding the environment, as well as the national legislation for the solid waste from health services was analyzed. Through the analysis it was possible to present better clarifications as to the possible impacts to the environment, to the public's health and alternatives in order to obtain the efficient disposal of medication, reducing and/or avoiding sanitary risk, guaranteeing the quality and safety of public health.

La revisión sistemática es un tipo de diseño que se centra en una pregunta concreta, sigue una metodología de búsqueda y selección de la información claramente especificada y realiza un análisis riguroso y crítico de los resultados encontrados. Además, en muchas ocasiones la revisión se completa con una síntesis cuantitativa o metanálisis, que habrá que valorar siguiendo unas consideraciones especiales. Para conocer el valor de sus conclusiones será importante estudiar su validez interna, la importancia clínica de sus conclusiones y si son aplicables y de utilidad en nuestro entorno clínico. The systematic review is a type of design that focuses on a specific question, follows a clearly specified methodology of searching and selection of information and performs a rigorous and critical analysis of the results found. In addition, in many cases the review is completed with a quantitative synthesis or meta-analysis, which will have to be appraised following special considerations. In order to know the value of its conclusions, it will be important to study its internal validity, the clinical relevance of its conclusions and if they are applicable and useful in our clinical environment.
