After analyzing the data obtained , the researcher found that the use of tic tac toe game has effect in teaching speaking skill. It proved from the data analysis, the researcher found that the value of t-test was 6,3, while the value of t-table in df 38 were 2,024 for confidence level 0,05 (90%) and 2,71 for confidence level 0,01 (99%). It showed that the value of t-test is higher than t-table. It is mean that the use of tic tac toe game has effect in teaching speaking skill. So, the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted because the use of tic tac toe game has effect in teaching speaking skill at the seond grade of MAN 1 Praya in Academic Year 2014- 2015.

English Environment Programs is one of method In Improving Speaking Ability At Polytechnic of National Informatics. This research aims at finding out wheather or not the use of English environment Programs improve the speaking ability. This research used Quasy experimental method with two group pre-test and post-test design. The result of the data analysis showed that the degree of freedom (df) was 43 (n1 + n2 – 2) where n1 = 30 and n2 = 15 so 30 + 15 – 2 = 43), the level of significant (α) = 0.05, the t-test value of students’ speaking ability= 3.765, and the t-table value = 2.021. The t-test value is greater than the t-table value (3.765 > 2.021), this showed that there is a significant difference of improvement between the Control group and Experimental Group. It means that the Alternative Hypothesis (H1) is accepted while the Null Hypothesis (H0) rejected. Based on the result above, the researcher concluded that the using of English Environment Programs can improve the speaking ability of the second year students of Polytechnic of National InformaticsKeywords: English Environment, Speaking, Effectiveness

Then, the sample was divided into two groups, the group taught by using English slang words was as the experimental group and the group taught without Englih slang words was as the control group. The writer used interview test as the instrument of collecting data. The data was analyzed by using t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the value of t-observed (t0) was higher than the value of t-table, (tobserved = 7,47 > ttable = 2,00). Therefore, the hypothesis proposed by the writer was accepted. In the other words, using English Slang Words significantly affects the students’ speaking skill of the 2018/2019 tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Hinai Kabupaten Langkat. Keywords: English slang words, speaking skill

This research was aimed at finding out the effectevenness of Ransom Note Game in learning vocabulary. this research was quasi experimental design. The populations of this research were all of students at second grade students of SMPN 1 KERUAK that consist of 284 students that consist of eight different classes. In which the sample of this research used two classes where VIII.1 Class as experimental group consisted of 32 student and VIII.3 as control group consisted of 31 students. The experimental was taught by Ransom Note Game Game and control group taught by Puzzle Game. The instruments that used were objective test with multiple choices, matching word, fill in the blank and true or false. The analysis used t-test formula. The result of the analysis, showed that the value of to (t obtained) 2, 0888 was higher than tt (t table) 1, 8702, the significant level 0, 05. Based on the result of this investigation, it was proved that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In other words, there was significant effect of Ransom Note Game in learning vocabulary at the second grade students at SMPN 1 KERUAK in academic year 2016/2017.

This study aims to investigate about the Effectiveness of Using Word Mapping Technique in Teaching Students Vocabulary at The First Grade Students of SMAN 8 Mataram in Academic Year 2014/2015. There were 79 students as sample. This study used quasi experimental non-equivalent research design. The data analysis showed the mean score of experimental group is higher than the mean score of control group. the use of word mapping technique is effective in teaching vocabulary. The deviation of the two mean scores (26.78/17.2) was also significant. It read that the value of t-test was 4.35 while the value of t-table was 2.000 on the level of significant 0.05 (95%) and 2.660 on the level significant 0.01 (99%). This figure indicated that the value of t-calculated was higher than t-value of t- table 4.35 > 2.000 and 2.660. The data indicated that t-test was higher than t-table, it means that the alternative hypothesis (H3) is accepted. Word maps technique maintain the students learning about words through mapping because helps them examine the characteristics of the word concepts, categorize words, and see relationships among words that are similar as well as those that may be different.

This research aimed to find out the effect of cooperative learning type terror cards and nightmare cards towards students’ speaking skill at SMAN 1 Sakra Timur in academic year 2017/2018. The research was pre-experimental with one-shot case study design. The population of the study was the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Sakra Timur that consisted of 3 classes. All of classes were chosen as the samples, those were XI IPS 1 as experimental group I, XI IPS 2 as experimental group II and XI IPS 3 as control group. They were chosen by using total sampling technique. Experimental group I treated by using terror cards, experimental group II treated by using nightmare cards, and control group treated by using think pair share. The data of the research were gathered from speaking test and the data analysis used ANOVA. Based on the data analysis was gotten F-test = 3.352 and F-table = 2.44. It means that f-test was higher than f-table (3.352 > 2.44) with signification level 0.04. So that way, alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) rejected. Therefore, it took conclusion that there is significant effect of cooperative learning toward students' speaking skill at SMAN 1 Sakra Timur in academic year 2017/2018.
