A fully automated house must ensure all the appliances must be connection and provide a smart way of working for the human. The insight of Internet of Things (IoT) network provision the necessary platform to implement the automated home. The proposed system emphasizes, how all the appliances would be connected to IoT to ensure fully automated home. In this framework the smart home has been divided into various areas like smart kitchen, smart gardening, home safety and security system, and smart lightning system. The reliable protocol stack has been utilized to provide efficient communication along with proper security measures. The reliable protocol suite works on top of MQTT and TCP to ensure reliable communication. The smart gateway utilized for this framework and provides firewall security as with a two-phase filtering mechanism as well as scalability. among all the appliances in the home.

Nowadays, security and gardening systems in densely populated residential areas are generally done manually. The security system in housing sometimes places security posts at street corners that are some distance from citizen’s homes thus they cannot be monitored at all times. Whereas other problem of watering system in citizen’s homes, someone has to water the plants one by one that it is not efficient in  energy, time and water availability thus that it can reduce the quality of the plants. Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept and method for remote control, monitoring, and various tasks. IoT is connected to a network that it can be accessed anywhere which can make things easier. IoT can be used to solve various problems. One of them is security issues and gardening activities. By using smart home technology, the security system is carried out by placing CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) which can be accessed by the home owner, anytime and anywhere the home owner is located. On the other hand, gardening is one of the most popular hobbies. In this field, IoT can be used to monitor and regulate various things to support gardening activities. In this community service activity, we are proposed a simple automatic gardening system for watering some plants programmatically in Pondok Hijau Indah residence. The system also allows manual human intervention either locally or remotely via the internet to control CCTV and water pumps. To build this smart Home system we will use the Xiaomi Home application from Google Play. In this application, we can set a program to control CCTV and water the plants every day at a certain time periodically, in this case, we set every 7 hours to watering the plants.

The comfort and safety of a house is the dream of any home owner, even a house that has a modern security system will be more in demand than a house with an ordinary security system. By utilizing existing technology, it is possible to create an excellent security system from theft and fire. In order to overcome these problems, a prototype of a security threat detection system was made using telegrams based on the internet of things. This can minimize the inconvenience of home owners when they are not at home in a long time, such as the owner of the house going out of town or abroad. The design of this smart home uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 Wifi Module as a controller, the telegram application as a notification when an unknown person opens a door or window, and when a fire occurs. The sensor used to detect the security of burglars is a Magnetic Door Switch, this sensor is placed on doors and windows. The sensor used to detect fire indications is the Flame Sensor which is placed on the ceiling of the house

IoT means Internet of Things. The Internet of Things is more than a catchphrase; IoT means a classification that is impact how humans interact with equipment, and how human beings deport yourself. The meaning of IoT means linking systems and devices that, until now, haven’t been connected. In general, IoT is also referred as digital intelligence or dumb things. Let us consider an example, an owner of a house lock or unlock their door from a phone through a smart home security system using IoT, and they can adjust their home temperature or operate a security camera to see who is knocking at their door. Based on IoT, business applications were developed. Smart cars are based on the concepts of IoT, traffic has been controlled and adjust and also it is informed to humans regarding the fastest and shortest route. Rapid changes in the interaction between human and the machine.

With the advent of IoT (internet of things), our homes are becoming more dependent on technological devices to perform everything from basic to advanced tasks. In this paper, cyber living delves into the realm of home security and the use of Raspberry Pi compute devices to secure our homes. Raspberry Pi is an educational 'system on a chip' that sells for anywhere from $30 and up. Companies have been taking these basic devices, rebranding them, and turning them into the computers that drive a home security system. They operate everything from digital locks, cameras, thermostats, fire and CO2 alarms, and more. The authors take a deep dive and look under the cover at the security and viability of Raspberry Pi as a controlling device for home security.

The development of technology is currently happening very quickly and has become a part of human life. One technology that has become an important part of human life is the application technology of an interactive smart home security system (smart house). This can overcome various problems that often occur in home security which were previously only controlled by manual systems and were prone to theft crimes. The purpose of this research is to develop an Arduino-based interactive smart home technology that works automatically by relying on sensors and without a wireless remote-control device such as a remote control based on an Android application. The research method used by the research team is the development of a prototype which includes smart home technology, home security devices, and automation of smart home devices which are realized by two-dimensional and three-dimensional engineering methods for house models in the form of electronic circuits, as well as home electrical and security plans. The development of this technology provides significant benefits, including making it easier for users of the interactive smart house feature, so that its use becomes more practical and efficient as well as disability friendly and all ages. Indonesia needs to keep moving forward in terms of technological development and innovation, especially in terms of home security and the manufacture of smart homes by utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) and applications on Android. Until later Indonesia can match up to the stage of surpassing the technological capabilities that have been applied in various developed countries and products can be patented into an Internet of Things (IoT) based security system.

The increasing need for security in microcontrollers Security has long been a significant challenge in microcontroller applications(MCUs). Traditionally, many microcontroller systems did not have strong security measures against remote attacks as most of them are not connected to the Internet, and many microcontrollers are deemed to be cheap and simple. With the growth of IoT (Internet of Things), security in low cost microcontrollers moved toward the spotlight and the security requirements of these IoT devices are now just as critical as high-end systems due to:
