A software platform has been developed in order to unify the different measurements obtained from different manufacturers. These measurements include the curve from voltage to the current of PV devices and several meteorological parameters such as global and direct irradiance, temperature level of the solar cells and spectral shape distribution of solar irradiance. The measurements are performed in an automated way by a stand-alone application that is able to communicate with a pair of multimeters and a bipolar power supply that are controlled in order to obtain the current–voltage pairs. In addition, several magnitudes, that can be configured by the user, such as irradiance, module temperature or wind speed, are incorporated to register the conditions of each measurement. Moreover, it is possible to attach to each curve the spectral distribution of the solar radiation at each moment. Independently of the source of the information, all these measurements are included in our own database. These data can be accessed through a public web site that can generate several graphics from the data.

The paper proposes an alternative scheme of guaranteed electricity and heat supply of an energy-insulated facility with a high potential of wind energy without the use of imported or local fuel. The scheme represents a wind power complex containing the park of wind generators located at the points with high wind potential. The wind generators provide guaranteed power supply even in periods of weak wind. For heat supply of the consumer, all surplus of the electric power goes on thermoelectric heating of water in tanks of accumulators, and also on receiving hydrogen by a method of electrolysis of water. The current heat supply is carried out with the use of hot water storage tanks, and the heat supply during the heat shortage is carried out by burning the stored hydrogen in condensing hydrogen boilers. We have developed the algorithm of calculation and the program "Wind in energy" which allows calculating annual balance of energy and picking up necessary quantity of the equipment for implementation of the scheme proceeding from the annual schedule of thermal and electric loading, and also potential of wind energy in the chosen region. The calculation-substantiation of the scheme proposed in relation to the real energy-insulated object Ust-Kamchatsk (Kamchatka) is carried out. The equipment for the implementation of an alternative energy supply scheme without the use of imported fuel is selected and compared with the traditional energy supply scheme based on a diesel power plant and a boiler house operating on imported fuel. With the introduction of an alternative power supply scheme, the equipment of the traditional scheme that has exhausted its resource can be used for backup power supply. Using climate databases, a number of energy-insulated facilities in the North and East of Russia with high wind energy potential are considered and the conditions for the successful implementation of the energy supply scheme are analyzed. This requires not only a high average annual wind speed, but also a minimum number of days of weak wind. In addition, it is necessary that the profile of the wind speed distribution in the annual section coincides with the profile of the heat load consumption.

With the continuous development of power electronic technology, the advantages of thyristor power regulator circuit gradually get more and more applications. It improves the quality of power supply, makes the equipment efficiency and power factor higher and so saves a lot of electricity. Through the calculation of the primary current when thyristor turns off in three-phase power regulator circuit with transformer load, the impact of the thyristors turn-off order on the transformer primary current voltage-second product is analysised, and through simulation the exactness is verified.

In recent years, solar photovoltaic energy is becoming very important in the generation of green electricity. Solar photovoltaic effect directly converts solar radiation into electricity. The output of the photovoltaic module MPV depends on several factors as solar irradiation and cell temperature. A curve tracer is a system used to acquire the PV current-voltage characteristics, in real time, in an efficient manner. The shape of the I-V curve gives useful information about the possible anomalies of a PV device. This paper describes an experimental system developed to measure the current–voltage curve of a MPV under real conditions. The measurement is performed in an automated way. This present paper presents the design, and the construction of I-V simple curve tracer for photovoltaic modules. This device is important for photovoltaic (PV) performance assessment for the measurement, extraction, elaboration and diagnose of entire current-voltage I-V curves for several photovoltaic modules. This system permits to sweep the entire I-V curve, in short time, with different climatic and loads conditions. An experimental test bench is described. This tracer is simple and the experimental results present good performance. Simulation and experimental tests have been carried out. Experimental results presented good performance.

Introduction: Airborne Cladosporium spores in different regions of the world are known as the main cause of allergic diseases. This study aimed to identify the Cladosporium species airborne fungi in Ahvaz wastewater treat- ment plant area and its adjacent places and check the effect of some meteoro- logical parameters on their emissions. Materials and methods: Cladosporium spores were cultured on Sabouraud`s dextrose agar (SDA) medium in both cold and warm seasons. The passive sampling method was performed and after incubation, colonies were counted as CFU/Plate/h. Then, according to the macroscopic and microscopic charac- teristics of the genus, the fungal was studied. The meteorological parameters including temperature, humidity, air pressure, dew point, wind speed, and ultraviolet index were measured. Results: At least, 3358 colonies were counted. 1433 colonies were related  to the Cladosporium species. The amount of Cladosporium in indoor air was 46% of the total Cladosporium. The average of meteorological parameters includes temperature, humidity, air pressure, dew point, wind speed and UV index during the study were 27.8 °C, 32.9%, 548.7 °Kpa, 3.6°, 9.1 km / h and 3.9 respectively. 42.6% of the total number of colonies was related to the Cladosporium species. Cladospiromes had a direct correlation with the dew point, temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, and ultraviolet index (Pvalue<0.05). Primary sludge dewatering has the greatest role in the Cladospo- rium spores emission. Conclusion: Considering the importance of Cladosporium spores in the ap- pearance of allergic diseases, and given that wastewater treatment workers spend most of their time outside, observing health and preventive measures is necessary in this regard.

Meteorological parameters and traffic flows have a direct impact on air quality in large urban areas, and hence on the quality of life in them. A large number of done surveys confirmed the great dependence of the concentration of ground-level ozone (O3) upon meteorological parameters and the size, structure and imbalances of traffic flows. As part of the research conducted in the period from November 5th to December 8th 2014 in Brcko in Muderis Ibrahimbegic St concentrations of ground-level ozone (O3) were measured, meteorological parameters (temperature, humidity, wind speed and intensity of solar radiation) and characteristics of traffic flow of road motor vehicles. The maximum concentrations of ground-level ozone (O3) in the measurement period was 106.54μg/m³, while the minimum concentration was 4.794μg/m³. By analyzing the results of measurements the high coefficient of correlation between wind speed, air temperature and humidity was established. The correlation coefficient between the traffic flows on the one hand and the concentration of ground-level ozone (O3), on the other hand is very low and does not exceed the value of 0.301. A negative correlation coefficient between traffic flows and concentrations of ground-level ozone (O3) is also observed in the certain time of the day.

The article presents a method for selecting the parameters of the current-voltage characteristics of adjustable reactive power compensation devices used at sectioning stations of railway sections electrified by alternating current with a voltage of 27.5 kV. This technique is based on the experience of operating two types of devices in the traction power supply system. Power control of these devices is implemented by the voltage level at the switching point. Selection of the setpoint voltage and slope characteristics was done. The developed method allows increasing the efficiency of devices by eliminating the voltage losses on the active component of traction loads. That will reduce the loss of electricity in the system of traction power supply. Changing the parameters of the characteristics will increase the relationship between the reactive power consumed in the zone and the voltage measured by the devices. Following the results of the formation of the methodology, an example of the choice of characteristics for a real compensation device is presented.

This study aims at the development of a software tool for supply and demand matching of electrical and thermal energy in an urban district. In particular, the tool has been developed for E-NERDD, the experimental district that TPG-DIMSET is going to build in Savona, Italy. E-NERDD is an acronym for Energy and Efficiency Research Demonstration District. It is one of the districts that will be used within the project to demonstrate how different software tools and algorithms perform in thermodynamic, economic and environmental terms. The software tool originally developed for and implemented in this work, called E-NERDD Control System, is targeted on enabling the operation of the hardware, when connected in a district mode. Supply and demand are matched to reach a thermoeconomic optimum. An optimization algorithm is organized into two different levels of optimization: a first level that resolves a constrained minimization problem in planning power supply for each generator on the basis of day-before forecasting; and a second level that distributes among the different machines the gap between planned and real-time demand. The algorithm developed is demonstrated in four test cases in order to test it in different working conditions.

Abstract. In this paper, we present the effect of total solar eclipse on surface O3, NO, NO2, NH3, CO mixing ratio and the meteorological parameters on 15 January 2010 at Thiruvanathapuram, India. On the day of total solar eclipse (i.e., 15 January 2010), the decrease in mixing ratio of surface O3 and NO2 is observed after the beginning of the solar eclipse events (11:15 to 15:30). Decrease in surface O3 may be due to decreased efficiency of the photochemical ozone formation, whereas, mixing ratio of NO and NH3 have been changed following the night time chemistry. Surface O3 reduced to 20.3 ppb after 22 min of full phase of the eclipse. During the solar eclipse period, the ambient temperature and wind speed have decreased, whereas, relative humidity has increased as expected.
