Testing on an application aims to check whether a program is running properly so that the program created will be a program that has good quality. The testing technique consists of Whitebox Testing and Blackbox Testing which are widely used by examiners is appropriate. Study the software that will be examined using Blackbox Testing is a best sales selection system consisting of 1 form that will be filled with sales data, as well as sales performance while in the company. The Best Sales Selection Application will be tested using Blackbox Testing where this test only aims to look the program is the same with the function desired by program without knowing the program code used. Types of testing of the various Blackbox methods one of which is the Equivalence Partitions used by the authors in this study. Equivalence Partitions technique is a test based on entering data on each form in the best sales selection system, each menu input will be tested and grouped according to function whether it is valid or invalid. So it is expected that with this test is the quality of the software produced in accordance with the expected function, and can provide benefits for the company.

The train ticket booking application is an important application because it involves financial transactions. If something goes wrong can be detrimental to the parties involved. The developer of the train ticket booking application must be able to provide a guarantee that the application has been made according to the requirements and has good quality. To provide a guarantee can be done by testing the application. Testing on a product intends to check if a program has been running as per its capacities or still have blunders that should be adjusted so as to have a decent quality program. A famous testing strategy and broadly utilized by analyzers to investigate the program works out in a good way or not is Black Box Testing and White Box Testing. In this examination, the product that will be surveyed utilizing Black Box Testing is a train ticket booking framework that has two structures: the login structure and the booking type of the train pass to be filled by the administrator. The application will test utilizing Black Box Testing in which the test is just planned to see whether the program is as per the capacity that the program needs without realizing the program code utilized. The sort of testing of the Black Box Testing technique shifts one of which is Equivalence Partitions utilized by the creators in this investigation. Comparability Partitions procedure is a test dependent on entering information on each structure on the framework, each info menu will be tried and assembled by work either legitimate or invalid. Incorrect test results can be found and corrected immediately. So after testing, all requirements have been met and can be guaranteed that the train ticket booking application that has been made is error free and meets all the requirements specified.

The development of decision support system applications for the selection of the best employees is very important to support management in making decisions. This application must be free of errors because if there are errors can be detrimental to several parties, both the company and the employee. To guarantee that the floating application is error free, a test is needed. Testing on an application aims to check whether a program is running properly or there are still errors that must be corrected so that the program created will be a program that has good quality. The testing technique consists of White Box Testing and Black Box Testing which are widely used by testers to check the program is appropriate or not. The Best Employee Decision Support Application will be tested using Black Box Testing where the test only aims to see whether the program is in accordance with the function desired by the program without knowing the program code used. Types of testing of the various Black Box methods, one of which is the Equivalence Partitions used by the authors in this study. Equivalence Partitions Technique is a test based on data entry on each form in the Best Employee Decision Support System, each input menu will be tested and grouped according to function whether it is valid or invalid. With this test the quality of the software created can be expressed objectively very well and has fulfilled all the requirements set.

Mature  Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris  L.) stands are dominating large parts of the Flemish forest area. Broadleaved  species regenerate spontaneously under this pine canopy. This study studied  the growth and development of two planted pine stands with an older natural  regeneration, dominated by pedunculate oak (Quercus  robur L.), and discussed management options for  similar stands.     The results indicated a rather good growth of the stands, with current  annual increments of 5 m3.ha-1.yr-1. The pine overstorey is growing into valuable sawwood  dimensions, while the broadleaved understorey slowly grows into the  upperstorey. The quality of the regeneration is moderate but can be improved  by silvicultural measurements (pruning, early selection).     In both stands, an interesting (timber production, nature conservation)  admixture of secondary tree species is present in the regeneration. Stand  management is evolving from the classical clearcut system towards a  combination of a type of selection and group selection system.

Abstract Objective: The Food Quality Observatory was created in the province of Quebec (Canada) in 2016. In this study, the Observatory aimed to generate a methodology to (1) test the use of sales data combined with nutrient values to characterise the nutritional composition of ready-to-eat (RTE) breakfast cereals offered and purchased in the province of Quebec (Canada) and (2) verify the extent to which a front-of-pack label based on the percentage of daily value (DV) for total sugar, as a strategy to improve the food supply, would be distributed in this food category. Design: Nutritional information were obtained by purchasing each RTE breakfast cereal available in the Greater Montreal area. Cereals were then classified according to their processing type. Setting: The nutritional values of 331 RTE breakfast cereals available in Quebec were merged with sales data covering the period between May 2016 and May 2017. A total of 306 products were successfully cross-referenced. Results: Granola and sweetened cereals were the most available (36·6 % and 19·6 %, respectively) and purchased (19·8 % and 40·9 % of sales, respectively). When compared with other types of cereals, granola cereals had a higher energy, fat, saturated fat, protein content and a lower Na content. A larger proportion of chocolate (65 %) and sweetened cereals (49 %) were above 15 % of the DV for sugar. Conclusions: This study showed that the methodology developed generates important data to monitor nutritional quality of the food supply and ultimately contribute to improve the nutritional quality of processed foods.

Understanding program behaviors is important to verify program properties or to optimize programs. Static analysis is a widely used technique to approximate program behaviors via abstract interpretation. To evaluate the quality of static analysis, researchers have used three metrics: performance, precision, and soundness. The static analysis quality depends on the analysis techniques used, but the best combination of such techniques may be different for different programs. To find the best combination of analysis techniques for specific programs, recent work has proposed parametric static analysis . It considers static analysis as black-box parameterized by analysis parameters , which are techniques that may be configured without analysis details. We formally define the parametric static analysis, and we survey analysis parameters and their parameter selection in the literature. We also discuss open challenges and future directions of the parametric static analysis.

Millions of Stereoscopic 3D capable TVs were sold into the consumer market from 2007 through to 2016. A wide range of display technologies were supported including rear-projection DLP, Plasma, LCD and OLED. Some displays supported the Active 3D method using liquid-crystal shutter glasses, and some displays supported the Passive 3D method using circularly polarised 3D glasses. Displays supporting Full-HD and Ultra-HD (4K) resolution were available in sizes ranging from 32" to 86" diagonal. Unfortunately display manufacturers eventually changed their focus to promoting other display technologies and 2016 was the last year that new 3D TVs were made for the consumer market. Fortunately, there are still millions of 3D displays available through the secondhand- market, however it can be difficult to know which displays have 3D display support. This paper will provide a listing of specifically Passive 3D TVs manufactured by LG, however it has been our experience that the 3D quality varied considerably from one display to another hence it is necessary to qualify the quality of the 3D available on these displays using a testing technique that will be described in the paper.

This paper attempts to explore the effectiveness of the seller reputation mechanism by an empirical study using online sales data collected from TaoBao.com. A comparison analysis of seller reputation metrics of TaoBao, Amazon, and jd are carried out before the selection of the seller reputation metrics. The seller reputation metrics of small appliances are used as the input for the study considering the quality homogeneity among different sellers of the market, and the sales performance is measured by the sales amount of the recent month. The univariate analysis are performed to find out the effect of different seller reputation metrics on the sales performance, and the attribute selection technique is then applied to reveal the most significant factors contributing to the sales performance. The result indicates the significance of the user subjective assessment on the sales performance.

Abstract Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) is now used as a routine technique for the fast and reliable identification of fungi at the species level and, currently, it represents an important phenotypic methodology based on proteomic profiles. The main limitations to MALDI-TOF MS for fungal identification are related to sample quality (e.g. quality of biological material such as rigidity or pigmentation of cell walls), sample preparation (e.g. the myriad of sample preparation methodologies that deliver different data sets to different MALDI-TOF MS databases) and the databases themselves (e.g. the 'black-box' commercial databases). This chapter presents an overview and discussion of the use of MALDI-TOF MS for fungal identification. The major known limitations of the technique for fungal taxonomy, and how to overcome these, are also discussed.
