The development of decision support system applications for the selection of the best employees is very important to support management in making decisions. This application must be free of errors because if there are errors can be detrimental to several parties, both the company and the employee. To guarantee that the floating application is error free, a test is needed. Testing on an application aims to check whether a program is running properly or there are still errors that must be corrected so that the program created will be a program that has good quality. The testing technique consists of White Box Testing and Black Box Testing which are widely used by testers to check the program is appropriate or not. The Best Employee Decision Support Application will be tested using Black Box Testing where the test only aims to see whether the program is in accordance with the function desired by the program without knowing the program code used. Types of testing of the various Black Box methods, one of which is the Equivalence Partitions used by the authors in this study. Equivalence Partitions Technique is a test based on data entry on each form in the Best Employee Decision Support System, each input menu will be tested and grouped according to function whether it is valid or invalid. With this test the quality of the software created can be expressed objectively very well and has fulfilled all the requirements set.

Generally, the selection of outstanding students in every school still uses the report value as the reference and it is done manually. It is required a system that may select the outstanding students accordance with the criteria and done automatically. In this study, it was developed an automatic system for selecting outstanding students by using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) concept. The criteria set by the school in the selection of outstanding students are the average of the first and the second semester score, the achievements on district, city, and national level, liveliness in the organization and extracurricular, and credit point of attitude. Method of investigation used in this study is R & D, including introduction study, the development of system consisting of the application of SAW method and designing waterfall method, and testing of system which done by testing the comparison of the result and respond of users. The result of black box testing showed that all functionality in the system run well and appropriate; while for the white box showed that all paths run in accordance with SAW method. For the result of the comparison testing showed that the validation level was 100%. The result of the users respond revealed that the average of teacher responds was 90% and the students respond was 80, 34%. Therefore it can be concluded that decision support system by using SAW method can determine the outstading students.

Culinary efforts, especially ethnic and traditional snacks attract many people to Indonesia. Maintaining the quality of snacks for consumers requires a good packaging technique. Food packaging consists of a wide variety of packaging options that match the characteristics of each snack; this is no easy task. Decision support systems can help to facilitate decisions made regarding selection of the right packaging. This paper focuses on identifying snacks, types of packaging and active packaging parameters to build a decision support system in order to determine appropriate packaging. Types of packaging are determined using fuzzy Sugeno 4 parameters: fat, water activity, shelf-life and price. Active packaging of the snacks is done using the if-else rule with parameterised types of packaging, preservatives, oxygen barriers and water vapour barriers. The end result of this research is a web-based decision support system, which recommends types of packaging and active packaging for snacks.

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi using a worksheet which can lead to error occurrences and slow decision making. A system for decision support that can improve the ranking process and quality were developed in this paper. The proposed system implemented the codeigniter framework, MySQL database, and PHP programming language. The system provided three user roles which are teacher, student, and administrator role. These four parameters are used as ranking system input, including academic values, non-academic values, violation scores, and student attendance. The ranking process was conducted by applying the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. The developed decision support system was tested using two ways: the black box testing method and providing questionnaires. Black box testing result shows that the system has functionally worked, while user’s questionnaire gives 92,29% well accepted by users. The results show that the decision support system can help manage values and determine the parallel ranking list.

Process of choosing a supplier in Sukoharjo has not used the application program in making the decision but still use the manual way in writing. In addition, in conducting the selection of suppliers conducted by the HRD section is still subjective so that the results obtained in the selection of suppliers are less valid because in selecting HRD suppliers only choose based on price criteria, where If there is a supplier that offers the lowest price then the supplier will be chosen as a supplier in Sukoharjo. The purpose of the research is to build and implement a decision support system that is useful for the selection of suppliers in Sukoharjo using the method of Analyitychal Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). Where AHP method to calculate the weight of the criteria and SMART method to calculate the supplier's alignment. With testing black box system is already running according to the function and for the results of the validity test get the test value results in the category very good with a percentage of 80%.

Decision Support System is a system was used to help getting making decisions on a problem, such as  selecting students in  the archery sports that will be face to a championship event such as SEA GAMES (South East Games). In Decision Support System there are many methods that can be used, one of them is Analitycal Hierarchy Process method. Analitycal Hierarchy Process method is one of the more efficient decision-making methods because the data is very detailed, all the criteria and alternatives will be compared one by one. The calculation used to solve a problem uses multiplication to relate the preference value, where the value for each criteria and alternative must be searched for eigen / priority vector first, after it is proved consistency using RI table (ratio index), if the result of verification is less than 10% (0.1) then it is consistent and the calculation can be continued, but if the verification result is more than 10% (0.1) then the calculation is considered inconsistent and needs to be repeated from the beginning. This support system uses a web base, where the data entered will be saved into the MySQL database. The test results of the Student Selection Selection Decision Support System Using Analitycal Hierarchy Process Method Based Web get results as expected on the Black Box. So it can be concluded an accurate percentage of system success of 100%.Keywords : Decision Support System, Black Box, Analitycal Hierarchy Process, The Selection Of  Athlete.

The scholarship is a development program obtained by the students to be able to enroll their studies, in the form of financial assistance. At the Economics Institute of Palangka Raya, there is a BBP-PPA Scholarship to help the students who are financially disadvantaged. In selecting the scholarship awardees, Economics Institute of Palangka Raya experienced difficulties due to a large number of prospective scholarship awardees. Because of that, the Economics Institute of Palangka Raya disposes to accelerate the selection process by using one criterion, that is by grading the students GPA. This process might be inaccurate, indeed the selection process will be much quicker by that GPA rank criterion. Yet it is inappropriate considering other several criteria that have to be considered carefully as well. Thus, the solution to this problem is to establish the Decision Support System to select the BBP-PPA scholarship awardees which are web-based. The Decision Support System (DSS) uses the Technique for Order Preference Method by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). In developing the DSS, it will apply Waterfall software development methodology as Ian Sommervilles. The software used in building this website is Notepad ++, SQLyog, and XAMPP. This system can run well as black box testing on the system.

Lecturers are resources owned by the University. One of the efforts to improve the quality of lecturers is by giving appreciation in the form of rewards or awards to the best lecturers or lecturers who excel. However, to be able to provide these rewards, of course there are several assessments that will be given to lecturers. The problem is how to give the assessment so that the lecturer is declared worthy to receive a reward or award. There is a decision support system or abbreviated as DSS where in the system there are several methods that can be used to provide an assessment of course with the determined assessment criteria. In this research, the method used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) with several criteria into consideration.
