Cloud computing is a novel prototype to provide services via the internet. Most of the fields like banking, industries, educational institutions, and healthcare are storing their applications, data and accessing it through cloud because of its versatility and affordable price. Even though cloud has a many special feature, data security and privacy are the most important issues in a cloud background. Especially in healthcare sector, according to recent report numerous amount of healthcare data breached by unknown websites and hackers, and much healthcare information breaches are occurring around the world for different purposes and still it is vulnerable on account of storing and accessing data through third party cloud servers. Due to many attacks on personal health records data security and privacy in cloud environment, it is a primary task to concentrate on solving this issue because such health information are really sensitive, and playing vital role in decision-making of patients health which wrong decision may spoil patient’s health, life along with health institution’s reputation. To ensure security and privacy, data encryption and authentication are the key technologies which are a technique to secure data and create proof identities to obtain access of data in the system. Conventional password authentication does not provide sufficient security for information to the new means of attacks. So, this paper introduces a framework for data encryption using standard RSA and Hash function and advanced multi factor authentication technique to cloud data access which authenticates the user based on different factors such as contextual, signcryption and iris bio-metric features. This prototype to cloud computing is implemented using open source technology. The proposed advanced system minimizes intermediate data access due to the complexity of key access and strong authentication. The performance of the system has been evaluated using experimental results such as encryption and decryption time, authentication accuracy, execution time.

Mobile cloud computing (MCC) combines cloud computing and mobile computing to deliver vast computational resources to mobile consumers, network operators, and cloud computing providers. You may access your data from anywhere in the globe using any mobile device that is linked to the Internet. Cloud computing provides access to data in real-time whenever and wherever want. Any conventional mobile device can benefit from MCC's infrastructure, computational capacity, software, and platform services. Network security, web application security, data access, authentication, authorization, data confidentiality, and data breach are all concerns of MCC's security. Because mobile devices lack sufficient storage and processing power, their data storage capacity is limited. Users of mobile devices may inadvertently provide sensitive information over the network or through the application. Therefore, data security is the main concern for mobile device users. The objective of this paper is to find a solution that can enhance technical requirements with relation to user’s data security and privacy in mobile cloud computing. To achieve this improved blowfish encryption algorithm is used to encrypt each user’s data security and where the shared secret key is hash down using message digest called secured hash function. Hashing can increase the integrity and privacy of user data. The proposed algorithm is evaluated with a normal blowfish algorithm and 3DES with different parameters. Improved blowfish algorithm shows better performance than normal blowfish algorithm and 3DES. In this work, we have developed web-based application where the Amazon MySQL RDS database is used for data storage.

With the continuous expansion of the scale data storage, cloud storage technology for its high performance and low cost to get a lot of attention and support. However, the security issues of cloud storage data hinder its further promotion. For the current cloud storage applications of data stored encrypted, a cloud storage encryption scheme based on the separated key and encryption policy is proposed. By strengthening the data encryption key management and data encryption algorithm, the system achieves a more secure storage of data assurance in the technical level.

Abstract Cloud computing has become a victorious archetype for data storage, as well as for computation purposes. Greater than ever it concerns user’s privacy, so that data security in a cloud is increasing day by day. Ensuring security and privacy for data organization and query dispensation in the cloud is important for superior and extended uses of cloud based technologies. Cloud users can barely have the full benefits of cloud computing if we can ensure the real user’s privacy and his data security concerns this approach along with storing thin-skinned personal information in databases and software spread around the cloud. There are numerous service suppliers in WWW (World Wide Web), who can supply each service as a cloud. These cloud services will switch over data with a supplementary cloud, so that when the data is exchanged between the clouds, the problem of confidentiality revelation exists. So the privacy revelation problem concerning a person or a corporation is unavoidably open when releasing or data distributing in the cloud service. Confidentiality is a significant issue in any cloud computing environment. In this paper we propose and implement a mechanism to maintain privacy and secure data storage for group members or a community in cloud environment.

The modernization of industrial industry cannot be separated from the development of big data.In order to meet this challenge, cloud data integrity audit has been proposed in recent years and received extensive attention. Based on the in-depth study of the impact of different cloud storage data types on the audit scheme, this paper proposes an audit scheme based on Dynamic Hash table.Based on this, this paper explores a variety of cloud storage audit algorithms for different data types to deal with different security challenges.Facing a series of data security problems brought by cloud computing, this paper analyzes the concept, working principle and characteristics of cloud computing, and discusses the data security risks brought by cloud computing from four aspects. At the same time, this paper elaborates the data security strategy from five aspects: data transmission, data privacy, data isolation, data residue and data audit. In this paper, we propose to adopt end-to-end data encryption technology, build private cloud or hybrid cloud, share table architecture, destroy encrypted data related media, and introduce third-party certification authority for data audit.

Cloud computing is a new paradigm model that offers different services to its customers. The increasing number of users for cloud services i.e. software, platform or infrastructure is one of the major reasons for security threats for customers' data. Some major security issues are highlighted in data storage service in the literature. Data of thousands of users are stored on a single centralized place where the possibility of data threat is high. There are many techniques discussed in the literature to keep data secure in the cloud, such as data encryption, private cloud and multiple clouds concepts. Data encryption is used to encrypt the data or change the format of the data into the unreadable format that unauthorized users could not understand even if they succeed to get access of the data. Data encryption is very expensive technique, it takes time to encrypt and decrypt the data. Deciding the security approach for data security without understanding the security needs of the data is a technically not a valid approach. It is a basic requirement that one should understand the security level of data before applying data encryption security approach. To discover the data security level of the data, the authors used machine learning approach in the cloud. In this paper, a data classification approach is proposed for the cloud and is implemented in a virtual machine named as Master Virtual Machine (Vmm). Other Vms are the slave virtual machines which will receive from Vmm the classified information for further processing in cloud. In this study the authors used three (3) virtual machines, one master Vmm and two slaves Vms. The master Vmm is responsible for finding the classes of the data based on its confidentiality level. The data is classified into two classes, confidential (sensitive) and non-confidential (non-sensitive/public) data using K-NN algorithm. After classification phase, the security phase (encryption phase) shall encrypt only the confidential (sensitive) data. The confidentiality based data classification is using K-NN in cloud virtual environment as the method to encrypt efficiently the only confidential data. The proposed approach is efficient and memory space friendly and these are the major findings of this work.
