Capital structure affects the competitiveness of the company's products. Increasing quickly in leverage will make companies easier to have sufficiently profitable capital in increasing company size, increasing investment, and helping companies determine a dominant position in the market. The purpose of this study was to study the interaction of capital structure on the market competitiveness of products in companies in Indonesia which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2018. The methodology used in this study is quantitative using secondary data consisting of financial statements of companies listed on the IDX. A total of 77 samples of manufacturing companies with regression analysis, using SPSS software version 22. Capital structure is determined by leverage, while product market competitiveness is taken with the Hefindahl Hirschman Index (HHI). There are three control variables in this study, profitability, size, growth. The results of this study indicate a significant positive effect between capital structure and product market competitiveness in industries in Indonesia.

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, company size and ownership structure on capital structure in companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010. The population of this research is all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2010 and published financial statements on December 31 for the fiscal year 2008-2010. This was a censuses research since all population sampled. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of financial statements in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2008-2010. Data collection was done by the documentation and classifies data based on the financial statements of the criteria determined. Data  required in this research obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and the Capital Market Reference Center (PRPM) to address the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building Tower 2 1st Floor, Sudirman street Lot 52-53 Jakarta 12190. Based on these criteria, 114 companies obtained to be the target of Population.The results of this study indicate that both simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, company size, and ownership structure affect firm capital structure. Partially, variable profitability and ownership structure has a positive effect, while the variable size of the companiy’s and liquidity negative affect the capital structure of the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010.  Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Company Size and Ownership Structure, Capital Structure

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of : (1) Firm Size on Profitability (ROA). (2) Firm Size on Capital Structure (DER). (3) Profitability (ROA) on Capital Structure (DER) in the Manufacturing Sector Automotive Companies and Components on the IDX. The data used are secondary data using a sample of 13 automotive sector manufacturing companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. Sampling was done using a sensus method. This research uses a quantitative approach and the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis (path analysis. The results of this study are: (1) FirmSize significantly has a positive effect on profitability (ROA). (2) Firm Size significantly has a positive effect on capital structure (DER). (3) Profitability (ROA) significantly has a positive effect on capital structure (DER).

This Study aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage and profitability on income smoothing of the manufacturers registered at the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. Type of research in this study is quantitative research. The data used be in the form of secondary data taken based on the company’s financial statements in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The sampling technique of this study uses purposive sampling method. The analysis method of this research uses a regression analysis with Eviews 9 Version. Based on the result of analysis data in this research showes that the firm size have a positive effect on income smoothing while the leverage and profitability does not effect on income smoothing in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of stock liquidity on stock returns on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses two control variables namely size and age and the study period from 2013 to 2017. The type of research used is quantitative, while the sample of this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. The method of determining the sample used is used is purposive sampling. The procedure of data collection in this research is the documentation method. The intended documentation method is collecting secondary data from the company's financial statements. Data analysis techniques used in this study were multiple linear regression, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that stock liquidity had a positive and significant effect on stock returns. While growth opportunity have a significant positive effect on stock returns.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine whether working capital variables, size, and capital structure affect the return on assets. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in various sub-sectors proposed in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data from the company's annual financial statements as a sample that is used and processed using SPSS 16.00. This research uses the classic assumption test and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show how working capital (ratio using current ratio, accounts receivable turnover, and net working capital), size, and capital structure (tested using a debt to equity ratio) are considered to compare asset returns.Keywords: working capital, size, capital structure, return on assets ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah variabel modal kerja, ukuran, dan struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur di berbagai sub sektor yang diusulkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sebagai sampel yang digunakan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 16.00. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana modal kerja (rasio menggunakan rasio lancar, perputaran piutang, dan modal kerja bersih), ukuran, dan struktur modal (diuji menggunakan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas) dipertimbangkan untuk membandingkan pengembalian aset.Kata kunci: modal kerja, ukuran, struktur modal, return on assets

This study aims to determine whether the Capital Structure affects the financial performances partially and simultaneouslly. The Capital Structure in this study is proxide by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), whereas the financial performance is proxide by Return On Asset (ROA). the type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements os plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2019. The analysis method uses multiple linier regression analysis. The result revealed that partially DAR had negative and significant effect on ROA, while LTDER had no significant effect on ROA. The result also shows that simultaneouslly DAR and LTDER have a significant effect on ROA.

This research aims to analyze the effects of profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth, and firm size towards capital structure (DER) and the impact on firm value (PBV).This research uses secondary data from yearly financial statement of food and baverages companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange for period 2013-2017. The research design uses descriptive quantitative research and causality. Sampling method uses purposive sampling method, with some predetermined criteria, the number of sample is 17 manufacturing companies. The analysis technique used is panel data regression. The research results shows that the profitability (ROA) and firm size partially have negative effect and not significant on capital structure (DER). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative effect and significantly on capital structure (DER). Then the capital structure (DER) partially have positive effect but not significantly influences the firm value (PBV). The profitability (ROA) partially have positive effect and significant on firm value (PBV). The liquidity (CR) and assets growth partially have negative and significant effect on firm value (PBV), and firm size partially have negative and not significant effect on firm value (PBV). Simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size effect on capital structure (DER). On the other side, simultaneously profitability (ROA), liquidity (CR), assets growth and firm size have effect on firm value (PBV).

This study aims to determine the direct effect of capital structure, CSR and financial performance on firm value, and to determine whether financial performance can be a mediating variable between capital structure and CSR on firm value. This study uses secondary data, data collection with documentation on metal industrial sector manufacturing companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), as many as 14 companies were used as research samples with purposive sampling method, for 4 years so that the sample used 56 financial reports. Measurement of capital structure variables using DER, CSR with GRI-G4 guidelines, financial performance with ROA, firm value with PBV. Hypothesis testing using Path Anaysis. The results showed that capital structure had a positive and insignificant effect on financial performance, CSR had a significant positive effect on financial performance, and capital structure had a significant positive effect on firm value. CSR has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value, financial performance has a significant negative effect on firm value. The financial performance variable is not a mediating variable between capital structure and firm value, but is a mediating variable between CSR and firm value.

This study aims to examine whether profitability has an effect on firm value, profitability has an effect on capital structure, capital structure has an effect onfirm value and profitability on firm value with capital structure as an intervening variable.The study took a sample of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of a company’s annual financial report. During the 2014-2018 period, there were 142 manufacturing companies. The method of determining the sample used in this study is purposive sampling, which is a sampling method determined or determined by researchers in accordance with certain criteria. Manufacturing companies are 42 sample companies. Data is also analyzed using path analysis.The results of the study include (1) profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value, (2) profitability has a significant positive effect on capital structure, (3) capital structure has a significant positive effect on firm value, (4) Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value with capital structure as an intervening variable.

This study aims to determine the effect of Firm Size and Growth on earnings management in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. Quantitative research using 30 respondents and purposive sampling methods, namely (1) Manufacturing Companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that have submitted audited financial statements and notes to the financial statements as of December 31, according to the research period. (2) Companies that submit complete data in accordance with the information needed, namely Firm Size, Growth and Profit Management. And using secondary data is the financial statements of manufacturing companies that meet the purposive sampling requirements that are analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 22. The results of this study indicate (1) Firm Size has a significant negative effect on earnings management, (2) Growth has no effect on profit management. Benefits of research, (1) For practitioners, input for investors in investing in the capital market is also a reference to make a healthy company with this research. (2) For Theoretical, Add insight into Firm Size, Growth and Earnings Management.
