The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of various antecedents and behavioural consequences of consumers’ perceptions of time spent on shopping for clothing products. Examined antecedent variables are gender, age, income, fashion consciousness and visual merchandising, while outcomes include the number of clothing items purchased. The data, collected by consumer survey in Croatia, was analysed using exploratory and confi rmatory factor analyses, and structural equation modelling (SEM). The major fi ndings indicate that visual merchandising has the greatest and positive effect on time spent shopping. As expected, women and younger consumers spend more time shopping than men and older consumers. As for the outcomes, shopping time is positively related to consumer purchases. The study was conducted at a single point in time and was carried out while there was still crisis in Croatia, in a situation where consumers spend less on fashion products. The present study provides the insights into the determinantsand consequences of time expenditure and might help fashion retailers design more successfully retailing strategies to encourage consumers to spend more time on shopping in fashion stores, which in turn leads to higher sales.

The need for structure construct was examined in relation to adult age using the Personal Need for Structure scale (PNS; M.M. Thompson, M.E. Naccarato, & K. Parker, 1989). The results of a series of confirmatory factor analyses indicated that the two intercorrelated-factor structure of the PNS scale held up well across individuals aged 21 to 85, validating its use for the examination of ageing effects. Structural equation modelling analyses found that ageing was associated with lower levels of physical health and cognitive skill, which in turn were related to higher PNS scores. It was also found, however, that the impact of reductions in these resources on need for structure were counteracted by high levels of social activity and emotional health. The argument is made that ageing-related changes in personal resources impact everyday behaviour through changes in motivation, such as need for structure.

The problem of this research was to identify the impact of consumer value and perspective of value to intention to buy through attitude, which is addressed to organic personal care product. The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of consumer value and perspective of value to intention to buy through attitude in organic personal care product. The methodology of this research was quantitative approach. Data were collected by 140 users of skin and hair care’s users at mall in Jakarta. The variable factors that used on this research are consumer value (health consciousness, environmental consciousness and appearance consciousness), perspective of value, attitude and intention to buy. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Finding and contribution in this research was environmentalconsciousness, appearance consciousness, and perspective of value have positive effect on attitude; and attitude has positive effect on intention to buy organic personal careproducts. Research limitation/implication in this research was the data only being collected in Jakarta. These findings here provide suggestion in order to increase intention to buy organic personal care, a product owner need to focus on ecological beauty, values and informational knowledge of organic benefit in their communication campaign

The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of emotional advertising on customer purchasing behaviour. High-end items, particularly garment companies, are the focus of research. It also intends to investigate the most effective advertising appeal for influencing customer purchase decisions. The question mark-based survey was done with a sample size of 150 respondents, and their reactions to various attractions such as love, joy, and excitement were recorded. Hypothetical models have been validated through the use of hypothetical analysis and structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings demonstrate that pleasant emotions such as love, laughter, and happiness have a beneficial influence on customer purchasing intentions. This study supports the favourable relationship between emotional advertising and consumer purchasing behaviour when it comes to clothing companies.

Voluntary pro-environmental behaviors in the workplace such as organizational citizenship behavior towards environment (OCBE) are pertinent for the organizations striving to become environmentally responsible entities. The significance of OCBE for green organizational initiatives has led scholars to strive for expanding its nomological network. Approaching from the theoretical angle of the social information processing approach, this quantitative, survey-based study theoretically links and empirically tests the impact of environmental transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior towards environment (OCBE) via mediating mechanism of perceived meaningful work. Data from a sample of 311 employees working in Pakistan’s hospitality sector were collected and analyzed to test the hypothesized relationships using structural equation modelling. Results indicated the indirect effect of perceived meaningful work on the relationship between environmental transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior towards environment. Implications of both theoretical and practical nature are laid out in the relevant sections of the paper.

Abstract:Objective:The quality of life (QOL) of patients with schizophrenia has been found to be positively correlated with the social network and empowerment, and negatively correlated with stigma and depression. However, little is known about the way these variables impact on the QOL. The study aims to test the hypothesis that the social network, stigma and empowerment directly and indirectly by contributing to depression influence the QOL in patients with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders.Method:Data were collected on demographic and clinical variables, internalized stigma, perceived devaluation and discrimination, empowerment, control convictions, depression and QOL. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was applied to examine the impact of the above-mentioned constructs on QOL.Results:The influences of the social network, stigma, empowerment and depression on QOL were supported by the SEM. A poor social network contributed to a lack of empowerment and stigma, which resulted in depression and, in turn, in poor QOL. Interestingly, however, the social network and stigma did not show a direct effect on QOL.Conclusions:Following a recovery approach in mental health services by focusing on the improvement of the social network, stigma reduction and especially on the development of personal strength has the potential to reduce depression in patients with psychosis and improving their QOL.

Abstract This study aimed to explore the relationships between situational and psychological factors and Hong Kong citizens’ plastic waste management (PWM) intentions based on an extended theory of planned behaviour model with situational factors. A total of 996 Hong Kong permanent residents were surveyed, and data were analysed using structural equation modelling. The results revealed that situational factors had a direct and positive effect on PWM intention, but also affected PWM intention indirectly through their significant effects on attitude and perceived behavioural control regarding PWM. The implications for environmental education and policy are discussed.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of innovation capabilities on corporate reputation in banking sector. A quantitative method was used for collecting the data and fulfilling the stated objective. Specifically, the data were collected from 188 employees in banking sector in the United Arab Emirates. The analysis for the collected data was conducted using the partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach. The findings indicated that product innovation as well as service innovation have significant positive impacts on corporate reputation. The results also confirmed that process innovation has a positive effect on corporate reputation. Finally, the outcomes verified that marketing innovation has a significant impact on corporate reputation. The results confirm the significance of innovation capabilities in enabling business practitioners in the banking sector to improve their businesses reputations and thrive in today’s dynamic market environment.

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to analyze the impact of different organizational enablers – i.e. ‘structural capital’ – on the ideation stage of innovation processes from an ‘intellectual capital’ (IC) perspective. Considering company size as one of the most relevant contingent variables as regards organizational conditions, the moderator role of this variable is also examined. To gather information about the variables under study, a questionnaire has been designed and addressed to the CEOs of a set of 142 Spanish manufacturing firms with more than 50 employees and which carry out R&D activities. Structural equation modelling (SEM) based on partial least squares (PLS) has then been applied in order to test the hypotheses drawn from the research. The results obtained show the organizational components which exert the greatest impact on the ideation phase and, therefore, the priority aspects to work on, in order to enhance this particular dimension of the innovation capability.
