Culinary efforts, especially ethnic and traditional snacks attract many people to Indonesia. Maintaining the quality of snacks for consumers requires a good packaging technique. Food packaging consists of a wide variety of packaging options that match the characteristics of each snack; this is no easy task. Decision support systems can help to facilitate decisions made regarding selection of the right packaging. This paper focuses on identifying snacks, types of packaging and active packaging parameters to build a decision support system in order to determine appropriate packaging. Types of packaging are determined using fuzzy Sugeno 4 parameters: fat, water activity, shelf-life and price. Active packaging of the snacks is done using the if-else rule with parameterised types of packaging, preservatives, oxygen barriers and water vapour barriers. The end result of this research is a web-based decision support system, which recommends types of packaging and active packaging for snacks.

Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) techniques are particularly suitable for Energy and Environment (E&E) decisions due to multiple criteria nature of these types of problems and they have been widely applied in this area. Main points that can be taken into consideration when examining the MCDA literature related to E&E are the selection of appropriate method, selection of criteria to be used and the widely distributed application areas. The motivation behind this study is designing such a Decision Support System (DSS) that enables the energy decision makers to perform analysis using different methods of MCDA and different criteria from various application areas and test the applicability of the system through an application in Turkish Energy Sector. The system includes several methods of MCDA and common parameters from previous studies in order to provide different approaches of evaluating decision problems. With this feature, the system stands on the intersection of MCDA and E&E fields. Moreover, an application of MCDA in Turkish Energy Sector has been performed to test the applicability of the system and some conclusions about electricity distribution in Turkey are put forth.

Lecturers are resources owned by the University. One of the efforts to improve the quality of lecturers is by giving appreciation in the form of rewards or awards to the best lecturers or lecturers who excel. However, to be able to provide these rewards, of course there are several assessments that will be given to lecturers. The problem is how to give the assessment so that the lecturer is declared worthy to receive a reward or award. There is a decision support system or abbreviated as DSS where in the system there are several methods that can be used to provide an assessment of course with the determined assessment criteria. In this research, the method used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) with several criteria into consideration. Tinter is the person in charge of installing window film on building windows or car windows. A tinter must have some specific criteria set by the company. To increase motivation and quality of a tinter's work, the company routinely holds the selection of the best tinter each year. However, the selection of the best tinter made at this time is still not completely in accordance with the specified criteria and in the end the selection is based on the assessment of the company's leadership. It is feared that it will cause divisions between tinter who feel that the selection is unfair or not objective and does not conform to procedures. For this reason, a decision support system is needed for the selection of the best tinter. Decision support system used is to use the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method because this method is a multi criteria decision making method based on the ranking concept. Keywords : Tinter, System, Decision, SPK, Additive Ratio Assessment, ARAS

The development of decision support system applications for the selection of the best employees is very important to support management in making decisions. This application must be free of errors because if there are errors can be detrimental to several parties, both the company and the employee. To guarantee that the floating application is error free, a test is needed. Testing on an application aims to check whether a program is running properly or there are still errors that must be corrected so that the program created will be a program that has good quality. The testing technique consists of White Box Testing and Black Box Testing which are widely used by testers to check the program is appropriate or not. The Best Employee Decision Support Application will be tested using Black Box Testing where the test only aims to see whether the program is in accordance with the function desired by the program without knowing the program code used. Types of testing of the various Black Box methods, one of which is the Equivalence Partitions used by the authors in this study. Equivalence Partitions Technique is a test based on data entry on each form in the Best Employee Decision Support System, each input menu will be tested and grouped according to function whether it is valid or invalid. With this test the quality of the software created can be expressed objectively very well and has fulfilled all the requirements set.

One form of appreciation that a company gives to employees is the selection of one or several employees to be the best employees, usually companies implement this program for the benefit of their respective companies. This program is also carried out by PT. Gotrans Logistics International Semarang branch to motivate the development of the quality of human resources to compete in a healthy manner which indirectly also has a good impact on the company. This best employee selection program will take a long time and the results are inaccurate if not assisted by a decision support system, therefore a decision support system is needed to get the expected results. Selection will be carried out by determining the weight of the desired criteria and then ranking the employees. With the creation of a decision support system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, it can provide a solution in performing calculations and minimizing the time used in the selection.
